Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Trustwell Living Cimarron Place in Midland. I was warmly greeted by Angela Rico, Health Services Director. Angela had a warm, welcoming and friendly smile and personality!! She offered me a tour of there lovely facility and explained all the amenities they had to offer. I was even pleasantly surprised as I turned the corner and noticed some of the residents happily playing BINGO together, as old friends would be doing. BINGO was directed by the FUN hearted Yvette Rodriguez, Activity Director. The residents all appeared to be engaged and having a good time! Certainly, if I ever have a family member or friend in need, I will give Cimarron Place Midland my highest recommendation! Thank you, Gloria Greene

This facility has people’s family in mind. They offer a service where individuals can have somewhere for their love one to go when gone out of town if the individual is not able to travel but needs supervision. If you are ever in the facility in the evening stop by and say hello to April Meekins she always treat the patients like family and make them fill comfortable when patients need a taste of home.

I go to the community several times a month through a 3rd party contractor and I must say Cimarron is my favorite community. They take very good care of the residents the community looks good and their HSD Angela Rico is so patient and nice always informative if residents condition. She also has an awesome team behind her!

The very first time I visited Cimarron, I was greeted by the HSD Angela Rico! The building in itself was so nice and clean and everyone I came across, greeted me with a hello! Angela was so friendly and professional and made me feel so welcomed. As I toured the building with her, I seen the interaction the residents had with her and vice versa which was a plus to me because it assured me that she's very involved and attentive to their needs. My mother was so happy here after being so reluctant and apprehensive about moving out of her home of 60 years. Angela, the nurse, took her in the first day and made her feel comfortable with how things were done. From then on all I had to do was call or text Angela and know that things were handled. The whole staff was amazing to her, and she made wonderful friends who became very special to her. We are very thankful for her experience there.

I am very thankful for the staff at Trust well Living- Cimarron Place for all the love and care shown to my 82 year old mom while I was away for respite purposes. It really is a community that cares for their residents. Mom has moderate dementia but she had the best time and the staff was so very attentive to her needs while I was away. The staff went above and beyond to help mom and to keep me informed. Their response was such a blessing. I initially learned about Cimarron Place during a caregiver conference. I give thanks to the Lord for meeting Jennifer Burke who was the community relations officer; she was such a blessing. I am grateful for the warm welcome from Sameera the Executive Director and the other members of her great team. I saw genuine care in the staff including team members in housekeeping, medical, food services and daily care assistance. We give thanks to the Lord for such wonderful team. I am confident mom had the best of care during her stay. Many thanks to all of the staff who followed through with assistance in the most amazing manner especially Angela Rico, Jennifer Burke and LaKeisha. We are extremely grateful to Brenda White for the excellent care she gives our Mom at Cimmaron Place. She is always kind and accommodating to Mom when she is on duty whether it be day or night. She goes out of her way to make sure Moms needs are met. We don’t ever have to worry about Mom when Brenda is there. Brenda is totally dedicated to her job. We would recommend her and Cimmaron Pl for all your loved one’s needs in an assisted living facility. Without a doubt she is an amazing person and an incredible asset to Cimmaron Place. My mother , who has dementia, has been at Cimarron for almost 4 years and during that time the staff has been so caring, loving and patient towards mom and my family as this disease has progressed. Elise, has been with us since the first day and she continues to oversee mom’s medical care in a caring, loving, friendly manner. Knowing that Elise is there with mom, calms my worry and eases my fears. Cimarron has been a blessing for both mom and myself.

My 94-yr-old mother-in-law has been at Cimarron Place for about a year and a half. It's never easy for someone to move out of their own home and into assisted living, but we are happy with Cimarron Place. Elyse Lindsey (Medicine Tech) is a shining star (hard working, loving, skilled and dedicated), the new Executive Director Sameera ("Sam") A AL Afghani is awesome, and Diane Lloyd (Business Manager) has diligently helped us get some billing issues straightened out and goes well beyond her job description to help out in any way needed. Things aren't always perfect, but these ladies are always ready to listen to any issues we have and try to make things right. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to survey the residents seeking improvements on the quality of the food. Fresher, heart-healthier meals would be great.

Our stepmom has Alzheimer’s. Cimarron Place was told in advance that our stepmom had successfully tried to exit the facility she was previously in. Cimarron assured us that they could effectively address any issue related to her disease so, because it is a nice place, we moved our stepmom to Cimarron. She was only there for about three months before Cimarron told us that they could no longer care for our stepmom. We feel that Cimarron pulled a bait-and-switch on us just to get what little money they could get. Had they told us that they were ill equipped to care for an Alzheimer’s patient in mid- to late stages, we would certainly have looked for a different place. The time and money it took for the extra move could have been avoided if Cimarron had been honest and upfront in the beginning. If your loved one has Alzheimer’s, think twice before considering Cimarron Place.

Everyone is always very polite, informative and ready to answer any questions I might have. The staff goes over and above to make sure that Mom is comfortable, clean and well cared for. . . which includes her laundry, housecleaning, meals, activities and medication is given as prescribed. Her puppy also gets to come and visit her which is super important to Mom. I just wish we didn't have to worry with COVID and all the restrictions that go along with that. I trust Cimarron Place with my Mom because she is in good hands.
