My father has been at Pegasus Landing of Forney since 9/25. This was not a place he ever thought he would have to live in, but here we are and I wanted to share some of the very special people that make his experience there more comfortable. First, the house keeper, Deidra, is amazing. Not only does she keep my dad’s room looking great, she speaks to him (and me, his daughter) as if we are familylike that is her grandfather. Most of the RA’s I have encountered are very sweet and the activities director is wonderful! You are always greeted by Sherry, at the front desk, with a smile and a sweet greeting. If you’re lucky enough, you will see some of the fantastic residents when you walk in with their pups. My dad is not a fan of the cuisine, but he does appreciate all of the staff he encounters daily who make him feel as though he is a somebody.

I volunteer at Pegasus Landing of Forney when they play Bingo. The receptionist is very friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile. She cares for the residents as if they were her family. The activity director always has fun activities for the residents. There is some kind of activity every day; many times several in one day. Recently, they have landscaped all around the building with new grass, plants and trees. Within the past year, they have remodeled inside with new flooring, fresh paint, etc. Recently, new theater chairs have been added to the movie room. My mother lived there when it was Three Forks. So many improvements have been made since it was sold to Pegasus Landing. Anyone is welcome to visit and see how nice the staff and building are for the residents.

Recently inquired assisted living for my mother future placement. I spoke with Crystal Lawrence marketing director, she is very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. When the time comes Pegasus landing will be our place of choice.

My mother has been at Three Forks for the last 10 months. Initially we selected it because it looked nice and was very close to our home. Now I wouldn't want her anywhere else. The most important thing to us is the the staff there really care for their residents. I'm there nearly ever day a witness first hand the love and compassion that the RAs and Med-techs show the people they care for. The Director is a super nice guy. We're hoping that the new management keeps this quality of care going. Mom loves the food there too.

My parents recently moved from Three Forks in January 2024 after living there for a year. When ownership of the facility changed hands in 2023, conditions at Three Forks deteriorated in all the areas that most people complain about: cleanliness, bad food, poor staffing, etc. My parents are from a generation that doesn’t like to complain, but I am worried that I will eventually have to stay in such a place if I don’t complain!

Though the people who work here are friendly, Three Forks is struggling with understaffing problems. The public toilet is dirty and some halls smell of urine. Residents are supposed to have regular housekeeping, but that doesn’t happen. The food is adequate, but not great. The transportation bus doesn’t work, so there are no off site activities. There is no friendly nurse or receptionist up front to manage immediate needs of residents or families. The security lighting for night time is STILL inoperative since Mom & Dad moved in two months ago. My parents begged us not to put them in a nursing home, and we assured them that Three Forks was highly regarded Assisted Living. However, it is not up to the standard of what we were expecting for the amount of money my parents are paying.

I moved my father to Three Forks about a month ago. The main appeal was that this location is right around the corner from my house. My father was living in an independent facility, he is still mobile and in good shape, but required more help remembering to take his daily medication. From the very beginning until now, the staff has been nothing but caring, helpful individuals. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and will answer any question or concern that you have. I frequently pop into the facility and it's always nice to see residents enjoying puzzle time, watching TV together, playing bingo and dining together. The room he is in is smaller than what he had at his independent facility but it's an adequate amount of space for him. It is a smaller facility but I feel that is a good thing so the residents can actually get to know each other and become friends. I feel that my father is in a good place living in this facility. He is getting out more, being more social, he is on a schedule which he heavily relies on, and being on his medication has made a huge difference. I am happy with our choice of residence for my father.

I got to know the staff at this facility while providing dementia care education. They are a group of compassionate and dedicated caregivers. They love what they do and really care about people in their care! I was there because Stephanie is so passionate! she champions her coworkers so it truly is an exceptional experience for residents and families who come to Three Forks!!

I have the pleasure of going into Three Forks routinely to see patients that are receiving home health services. I am an Rn with my bachelors degree and have worked in many facilities. This facility is one of the best by far! The staff is warm and welcoming. Tony is very knowledgeable and does anything he can to make the residents happy and feel like they are at home. If you are looking for a place to send your loved one, you don’t want to miss out on allowing Three Forks to be that place!

I had my mother in this facility for years, the care memory care staff is great but there is no activities in memory care. They do have an activity director but she does absolutely nothing, even though my mom is gone I still visit often and the only activity I have seen her do is bingo and it’s only with certain residents. The med tech Wendy on assisted living is so loud and screams in the dining area at residents to take their medications. Where is the respect for the elderly?

Three Forks Skilled nursing community has been busier than ever with a New LEADER in place! Making sure resident care is number 1! Aging in place with a Smile on their Face! Activities are more often and Engaging! Can't wait to see what's next. I am a in and out several times a week , meeting with staff and residents regarding Home Health possibilities and have seen nothing but professional behaviors. Top Notch guys.

Where do I even begin? The staff is friendly, easy to approach, and truly take their time working with their patients. Any hiccup I’ve come across was taken care of immediately. I have no issue getting in touch with staff members and getting updates on how my grandmother is doing. The food is also pretty good. Although I wish I could care for my grandmother myself, I am very grateful for the peace of mind that comes with knowing she is well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I moved my aunt into Three Forks about 2 months ago. It was the best decision for her. Since moving in she has been so happy. Her health has also improved. I credit this to the caring staff. The meals are awesome and I enjoy joining her for lunch. The activities keep everyone busy. Thank you Three Forks Forney.

My grandpa was recently there and loved it and the staff was always so friendly to him on my visits i live few hours away so i did not get to see him very often but when i did they was so sweet to him he just passed away on 4th of Jan and i miss him alot but im glad on Christmas i got to go eat christmas dinner with him i will always remember it you all made it very special for me!!

My Dad is here and we couldn't love it any more than we do! He is in the memory care area, not the assisted living. He is higher functioning than most of the folks living there, so the staff goes above and beyond to interact with him. They are his best friends. I love them all so much. It's more like a home than a memory care facility. The food it great. There's an outdoor area with a little garden and bird feeders. Every week they get on the bus and go for a scenic tour. He is so happy.

My grandmother has been cared for here for the past 3 years. The staff do an excellent job making sure she is taken care of at all times. She enjoys the activities with her friends there and the meals in the dining room. The doctor that sees her takes a vested interest in making sure she gets what she needs medication-wise, and the nurse on duty is so sweet and treats her like she is her own grandmother.
