My dad lived at Croixdale Assisted Living/Memory Care called the Arbor for about a year until he needed skilled nursing care and had to move elsewhere. We really loved his time at Croixdale. It is such a nicely maintained facility and his apartment in the Arbor even had a kitchen (with the stove disconnected for safety) but they want to provide a dignified living space for the Residents. The staff truly cared for him and did a good job keeping him engaged. I would highly recommend Croixdale.

When I moved my folks into Croixdale Presbyterian in 2020, they were immediately 'at home'. Through her lifetime, my mom had been a perfectionist about her own home, in terms of cleanliness, comfort and decor. She found all of that in abundance at Croixdale. In addition, both my parents made many friends there who were lovely and fun to see every day. The staff is kind, understanding and efficient. The activities and opportunities to engage with others are just excellent. My parents found they could be as active or as private as they chose to be -- and ultimately, they were a little of both. After 5 years there, Mom and Dad have now passed away - and I am missing them and my Croixdale visits very much. It ALWAYS felt wonderful to walk into that lobby and greet those familiar faces. I highly recommend - and I may want to live there someday myself!!

Our experience at Croixdale Senior Living was an excellent one. My father lived in the facility for almost 3 years, first in assisted living and the last year in memory care. I was continuously impressed with the respect and true concern flowing from the staff to the residents. The management team does a fantastic job cultivating this positive attitude amongst the staff. I will always be grateful for the care provided for my dad during his stay at Croixdale, and I highly recommend the facility.

My mom has been at Croixdale for almost three years and has transitioned from independent living to assisted living and is now in memory care. The staff is lovely and everyone is so helpful. The food is also very good. The facility is always clean. Our 7 year old granddaughter has been given the opportunity to volunteer and she absolutely loves it. I could not recommend it any more highly!!!!!

My mother, Bunny, resided at Croixdale from August, 2020 to April 2023 first in assisted living then in memory care. Every time I came to see her, she would in some manner thank me for finding Croixdale. She loved her apartment, the staff, the little store and the meals. Mom enjoyed the other residents and took part in many activities. As her daughter, I so appreciated the loving care by Croixdale staff, the skilled medical care and the communication I received as needs came up. I recommend this senior facility with no reservations!

At 87 my mom moved into Croixdale after leaving the house and close friends (in a different state) that she had spent the last 58 years with. The staff at Croixdale are so very wonderful - well trained professions, and very caring. Mom is so impressed that they all know her by name and are sincere and attentive in their caring. Certainly not an extrovert, but it didn't take mom long to make some good friendships with the other residents. When looking for an Assisted Living facility for mom we looked as several locations - we are very happy we chose Croixdale!

My mother has been living at Croixdale for nearly 1 year now. She started out in independent living and recently moved to assisted living. The transition was seamless thanks to the amazing staff! Everything was organized up front and all communication and questions were answered promptly with care. I cannot put into words how much the staff at Croixdale care for their residents in addition to one another. It is truly a blessing we were able to get my mom into such a caring professional living environment. I would recommend Croixdale to all!

My mother moved into Assisted Living at Croixdale in April 2018 and it has been a great experience for her. The staff is exceptional and has been very accommodating to meet her needs both prior to and during the pandemic. She likes the food choices and the quality of the food. Croixdale is like family I highly recommend this facility.

We moved my 97 year old mother to Croixdale in September of 2019 after her needs expanded beyond what we could provide at home. After interviewing several assisted living facilities in the area we settled on Croixdale and are extremely happy and satisfied with that decision. Following an initial resident assessment, a plan was agreed on for her assistance level. That plan has been continually monitored and evolved to match her situation. Her living accommodations are all above standard including her one bedroom apartment and the provided meals. The best part however, is the Croixdale staff. Care at all levels is done in a respectful, friendly and conscientious manner including nurses, aids, cleaning services or administrative personnel. Over the past year we have encountered a few emergency situations that required an intervening hand. All such incidents were quickly communicated to us and handle professionally. In addition to the immediate response, all such incidents were followed up with actions taken to prevent future occurrences. We feel my mother is receiving a high level of care at Croixdale. She’s both comfortable and safe which is a blessing to us.

If I could give Croixdale more than 5 stars I would! My aunt moved to Croixdale Memory Care in March 2020 during a pandemic. What would have been a tough transition from living on her own to being in a long term care facility could not have gone any better due the staff at Croixdale being top notch! They ensure all of their residents are happy, loved, well adjusted and busy! My aunt has thrived in this environment and the staff and other residents have become like family! Thank you for all that you do!

I have heard nothing but great things about Croixdale from so many people! From my own relatives who live there to the many clients of mine who live there, I have only heard good things. The staff do a great job of communicating with families and professionals, but more importantly, they make it a wonderful place for the residents to live.

My father has lived at Croixdale for a few years. He had a very long list of the amenities and price point that his new home would have. Croixdale was a 100% match and more. With his limited vision the washer and dryer in his apartment is truly a blessing. And rent includes 1 good meal a day for him. 1 bill to pay a month and it includes all his utilities too. The building and grounds are well maintained. The food is good. The staff is also a blessing. They are well trained, very supportive, kind and compassionate. They get to know the residents. I told a friend about Croixdale and how we all love it. Her mother now lives there too! Bottom line, my father feels safe, grateful, appreciative and loves where he lives. What could be better?

We moved my mother in here in September of 2019 and it has been the biggest blessing. She is so happy here. The staff is wonderful, the food is good. She loves all the activities. I haven't seen her this happy in a long time. This is the best move ever for her and for me because I have the peace of mind knowing that there are people there if she needs something or if something happens to her that they will be right there to call me or 911 then me. Thank you Croixdale Staff for all you do.

My Dad has been living at Croixdale for over a year now in an Independent Living apartment and we couldn't be more pleased with the facility. The staff is very attentive and available when needed and the meal service offered is also good. The rent is a bit less per square foot than other facilities and the layouts are wonderful. His laundry room is conveniently located in his apartment and is very large for storage and/or hobby work area. Several activities are available if residents choose to participate and the Bayport Senior Center is conveniently located nearby for additional activities. Croixdale offers shopping transportation as well as opportunities to go on "field trips", lunch at restaurants, and Sunday worship services. They also offer several worship opportunities in the chapel on site throughout the month. My only criticism would be that they update their Pendent service so if a resident fell inside their apartment or has a need outside on the grounds, that it would activate hands-free to alert the staff. The Wait List can be long but well worth the wait!

Several of my older relatives and other acquaintances have lived, or are presently living at Croixdale. Croixdale is hands down the best value in Senior living in the Stillwater/Bayport area. Add to that a wonderful and professional staff, that's very patient and helpful, and you get just a top notch facility that's not too big, but not too small either. It's just the right size for good community living. Thank you Croixdale!
