Transitioning from assisted living to a memory care facility was a hard choice to make for my mom. After numerous calls and tours I thankfully came across Allay. What a wonderful place! My mom has a private room with her own bathroom in a very homelike setting. Everyone I have come into contact with has been so kind and caring — just the people you would want taking care of an aging parent. It is great to feel confident that I have chosen the right place! A friend of mine who visited said she gets the same warm, comfortable feeling at Allay as she did going to my mom's house when we were kids! They always have crafts and events to keep residents engaged. Recently had a fall party we attended. Highly recommend!

We recently had a loved one (husband-father) at Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake and have only positive things to say about our experience. The efforts and care by the staff were phenomenal. From the initial inquiry to the day he passed away, the staff exceeded our expectations regarding personalization of care, response to our concerns and questions, attention to our loved ones needs, and his direct care on a daily basis. That included medical needs, nutrition issues, activities, etc. Placing him in a skilled care facility during this pandemic was exceptionally difficult knowing we would not be able to have in-person visits. The staff made every effort to allow us to communicate regularly with him by phone and FaceTime, and during his last few days we were able to be there with him – which, needless to say, meant everything to us! We cannot post a review without mentioning Melissa Redd, the Marketing-Admissions Director, who is one of the kindest and most dedicated workers we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From our first phone call until well after our dad-husband passed, she was a pillar of support and went miles above and beyond the call of duty. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Allay to anyone in the difficult position of placing a loved one in a memory care facility.

My aunt has been a patient here for three years. She seems very happy here. They have a small group of people maybe 15-20. It has pleasant surroundings, pretty courtyard. They have activities, TV and comfortable furniture. All have their own rooms. Everyone has always been friendly.

My mom has been in several Memory challenged care centers. ALLAY Care is by far the BEST, most reasonable priced without any hidden costs. They are caring, efficient, and spend time with each patient. They have only 16 patients to a building of. Two buildings. Each patient has their own bedroom and half bathroom. They can have their own furniture, pictures, onside window, a GD TV is in their room. The Great room has a much larger GD TV for community viewing. The Great room includes several sofas and easy chairs. Dining area include many tables and chairs for three meals a day prepared in the locked large kitchen. The place is like new with plenty of lighting and even temperature controls. They have two additional seating areas. A very large outdoor seating and walking. Areas. The outdoor area has large locked fence for protection of patients. So much more to tell - A MUST SEE. An activity director keeps activities daily for patients with rest periods and visiting with a monthly family night of good quality singing and music to match the seasons. If I am memory challenged someday, this is the place for me!

Allay is the perfect place for people living in any stage of dementia/alzheimer's disease. The manager, caregivers, nurse, & activity coordinator, & owners are amazing people! They truly understand what the residents and their families are going through, and provide peace of mind to all who care for their loved ones. You have to take a tour to appreciate the beautiful homelike atmosphere...so different from a nursing home, but rather so much like home!
