Allay is a wonderful place. My mother-in-law Mary Jane McCarty has been there since the middle of October 2025, and she's been given exceptional care from the staff and nurses. They do tons of activities every month and have lots of parties for all the holidays. She has adjusted to being there, and loves the food and all the activities that they do every week. She has her own room with an attached bathroom. Both Julie and Melissa are great to work with, and they truly care about all the residents. No place is perfect, but both my husband and myself are grateful that Mary Jane is in such a caring environment with other residents who have become family to her and us. Allay has 2 buildings with only 16 residents in each one, so each resident can receive more care. We can rest at night knowing she is safe.

Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake has been such a blessing to my siblings and me. We were faced with the challenge of moving our mother from one memory care facility to another. When I say facility, I am referring to the previous place. Allay is home away from home. Melissa Redd and her staff provide peace of mind to the families that must leave their loved ones in someone else’s care. We have received more communication in a month from the staff than we did practically the entire year from the previous place! They make sure our mom is comfortable, and her hygiene is taken care of (without us even needing to ask, as we had to all the time at the other place). My mom has the dreadful sundowners, but the staff know what they are doing and end up making her laugh. I appreciate the way they care not only about our mom, but us as well! We moved my mother from a memory care facility to Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake a few months ago. The transition has been nothing short of amazing. The care and the involvement of the staff has exceeded my expectations. My family is beyond grateful for each and every one of the staff members. They are her family and caregivers when we can't be there. We know she's safe and being cared for on all levels of this horrible disease (Alzheimer's).

What a blessing it was to find the gem that is Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake! The homey feel was welcoming. We didn't want chandeliers, high ceilings, etc. We wanted warm, welcoming, and cozy. Dad needed a homey feel and so did we. Even the bedside table lamp was perfection! We could go on forever about how wonderful Melissa Redd is and how she made an emotionally difficult transition smooth. Her warmth and care is special. We are forever grateful for Allay and Melissa. Melissa will always be a friend of our family.

Transitioning from assisted living to a memory care facility was a hard choice to make for my mom. After numerous calls and tours I thankfully came across Allay. What a wonderful place! My mom has a private room with her own bathroom in a very homelike setting. Everyone I have come into contact with has been so kind and caring ” just the people you would want taking care of an aging parent. It is great to feel confident that I have chosen the right place! A friend of mine who visited said she gets the same warm, comfortable feeling at Allay as she did going to my mom’s house when we were kids! They always have crafts and events to keep residents engaged. Recently had a fall party we attended. Highly recommend!

We recently had a loved one (husband/father) at Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake and have only positive things to say about our experience. The efforts and care by the staff were phenomenal. From the initial inquiry to the day he passed away, the staff exceeded our expectations regarding personalization of care, response to our concerns and questions, attention to our loved one's needs, and his direct care on a daily basis. That included medical needs, nutrition issues, activities, etc. Placing him in a skilled care facility during this pandemic was exceptionally difficult knowing we would not be able to have in-person visits. The staff made every effort to allow us to communicate regularly with him by phone and FaceTime, and during his last few days we were able to be there with him “ which, needless to say, meant everything to us! We cannot post a review without mentioning Melissa Redd, the Marketing/Admissions Director, who is one of the kindest and most dedicated workers we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From our first phone call until well after our dad/husband passed, she was a pillar of support and went miles above and beyond the call of duty. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Allay to anyone in the difficult position of placing a loved one in a memory care facility.
