I have worked in the activity department for 1.5 years. The staff and residents have made it a job that I love to come to every day. The North and South buildings are both very clean , with beautiful commons areas both inside and out. I would definitely recommend this community to my family and friends.

I have worked at vintage garden for 4 years with 2 of those years being the house keeper directer. From all my work experiences I can honestly say this is my favorite place to work. All the residents are a blessing to get to know and everyone works well together. I love the atmosphere and the way that all the different departments communicate to each other.

I have worked here for almost two years! I love the residents and staff. It's a very clean environment and one of the best assistance living facilities around. They always have good activities for the residents on the weekdays. I would recommend my own family to move in here. If you ever have questions they will have someone to answer them!

My mom, my brother and my sister in law all work at Vintage Garden and I can honestly say that I love this place. If I had to recommend any senior living facility it would be vintage garden. The activities, bake sales and garage sales are always something I look forward to. I love the homey feeling you get when you walk in.

My mom, Harriett Paden, was a resident at Vintage Gardens for four years. She enjoyed the fellowship and friendship with other residents. The transition from living by herself to Vintage Gardens was tough in the beginning, but other residents and staff took her under their wing. The personal care throughout her stay was very strong, friendly and caring. The compassion of the Vintage team was evident even on trying days. In her final days mom was gradually changing and the Vintage team was there for her every phase of her final minutes. Thank you Always know you are appreciated for all you do. My mother stayed in the assisted living Units until she passed away in May. The care here is the best! From the administration to the cooks in the kitchen you could not find a better facility to place a loved one. I checked out several before placing my Mom here and this place is without a doubt the best in the St. Joseph area. (IMO).

Posting for a friend. I am very happy with my decision to make Vintage Gardens my home. My apartment is comfy, I have new friends, the celebrations are always fun. Meals are prepared and served with care and my medications are administered daily. No more cleaning or laundry for me. My family feels at home when they visit. We had 2 Aunties live here for their final years, John and his staff were marvelous! ALWAYS CLEAN, always friendly, always on top for Doctor appointments (as long as YOU keep them informed). They went above and beyond during the final days of our last Aunt, I can not say how pleased we were with this facility.
