HAPPY NEW YEAR! - January 2025.....The beginning of our 11th year here at Carefree Senior Apartments! We saw the wonderful infomercial on local Las Vegas television.....called the phone number, set up an appointment for a tour, sold our 3-bedroom 2-story condo and the rest is history! As senior retirees, we are so satisfied with our decision to change to apartment living. We have a view of the Las Vegas Strip and the western mountains from our balcony. The friendly office staff members and activity director as well as an outstanding maintenance crew are helpful and available daily for responding when needed. There are calendared fun activities and games in the clubhouse during the week as well as Friday evening parties with refreshments and live entertainment! During the week, there is a 25-passenger Carefree fun shuttle bus for transporting residents by schedule to grocery/drug stores, banks, shopping, casinos, selected shows and local restaurants, etc.. The grounds are well-kept and the landscaping is beautiful! The outside patio, swimming pool and jacuzzi spa area is so beautiful that Samuel and I think we are in Palm Springs while relaxing on a beautiful Las Vegas day! There is a fully-equipped exercise room, laundry room, a library/computer room and beauty spa! We could go on and on with our "brief" review! One last thing: We have met many new genuine, caring friends here at Carefree Senior Living at the Willows in the beautiful Summerlin area of Las Vegas, NV!

My parents have lived here for quite a few years now. I think the only complaint EVER has been is the noise bleeds through from upstairs. This IS a senior living center. So, I'm not really understanding why it sounds like children throwing boulders around the apartment? But NOT all the time. I think it is the effort in which you choose to live that makes this complex great. We love the attentiveness and quality of life that this "home" provides my parents. It is pricy, but that being said, the safety and cleanliness and being in close proximity to all the scheduled tasks they need to accomplish is worth the little extra rent. But keep in mind it is usually filled with those who do live on limited income, and lower level income may cause financial hardship if they continue to raise rent. Keep in mind that this complex is well maintained. cleanliness of each tenant is extremely important to quality of mobility and lifestyle. I just feel there are other voices that need to be heard of this complex. I respectfully submit this review.

I am a new resident, but have been anticipating my move to Carefree for 3 years. I have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly, welcoming and generous with their time and support. Service requests are acted upon quickly. Covid 19 restrictions have limited in person gatherings, but we are still able to participate in activities via Facebook and Zoom. My apartment is a spacious 2 bed-2 bath and I have a beautiful view of mountains from my bedroom, living room and dining area. I have wonderful neighbors who made offers to assist me in any way shortly after I arrived. The location is close to shopping and entertainment. As I said, this move has been planned for some time and I am so glad that I am finally here.

I only gave this property 4 stars because the apartments are becoming dated. Yes, the spa has been a continuing issue but is being refurbished as I write. The social activities are first class and the calendar is full of both free or very inexpensive activities. The staff is second to none from prompt maintenance to Yvonne, their wonderful and caring activities director. The pool area and grounds are beautiful and are maintained to stay that way. Ken is an outstanding owner who cares about his tenants and attends many events a year to show it. If just an apartment is your goal, you can find cheaper. If an active community is how you want to spend your senior years, this is the place! Unfortunately the complainers are the ones who chose not to be part of the large family at Carefree....

Toured the facility & was totally impressed. From the grounds to the apartments to the leasing office. Top notch. A little out of my price range but well worth it. Moving from Denver & hope to find something half as nice.

Love it! Truly care free living for active seniors. We have the best staff on hand. If you want to socialize and have lots of fun this is the place for you. Great amenities, beautiful pool, work out room, library and a clubhouse that is always jumping with activities. Breakfast in the morning and Friday night Happy Hour are my favorite. We are so lucky to have a fabulous social director that is a lot of fun and hard working. The bus rides are not only helpful but a lot of fun. We've been to Mt. Charleston, ballgames, the Smith Center & the list goes on. Our bus driver is the best! Never thought I'd be so happy living in an apartment after 40 yrs. in a house but we've never been sorry that we made the move. The grounds are beautiful & well kept. Checkout Willows Carefree Living in Summerlin, you won't be sorry you did.
