Mrs. Terri is a behind the scenes lady at Woodmont as she is one of the Chefs. My Mother loves her breakfast and Ms. Terri has spoiled my Mother with how she prepares her grits for her-lol. Ms. Teri prepared some of the food for the Thanksgiving feast and it was a wonderful spread of food. When it snowed in Tallahassee, Mrs. Teri stayed overnight and made sure the residents were fed. That speaks volumes as she unselfishly addressed the needs of those residents when it was needed most.

LaShay makes a difference with the residents at Woodmont. Her infectious personality while working is hard to overlook. I have seen her in action as she cares for the residents with a genuine passion and has the ability to make them smile. Awhile back there was a DJ who came and did wonderful music for the residents and Shay actually did a solo performance for the residents- it was so entertaining for the residents. She puts a smile on my Mother's face and all the other residents as knowing she is working a shift puts your mind at ease.

I literally and figuratively love this place and it's easy to forget about all the Doctor appointments and just be free and very much happy and our MANAGEMENT look out for each and every person here knows residents comes first or hit the door don't believe me come visit any time well no later than 11:00 p.m. Look for your self and we are always happy and very much engaged with the all of the individuals residents or community visitors. Any individual here is catred for like we are there family members in my opinion all persons who are looking for this kind of service the will safe day and night. I love the way the MANAGEMENT allows me and others to be able to be ourselves. John C

Pacifica Woodmont is a fabulous place to volunteer! The staff are incredibly welcoming and willing to show you the ropes. As a volunteer, I have found it easy to fit in and to begin friendships with the residents. The work is rewarding, the people kind and friendly, and the atmosphere conducive to community. To those interested in volunteering, I HIGHLY recommend Pacifica Woodmont.

Even though my father only lived at Pacifica for a very short time, I feel that his experience there was wonderful and his well being was certainly cared for. I know that he appreciated everyone there, from the dining staff, nursing staff and the fellow residents! Dad LOVED that good ole southern cooking! His room was always kept very clean and the staff made sure that Dad was escorted down to the dining room for every meal. When I would go to visit, we always enjoyed walking in the courtyard and always played a hand or two of cards in the Sunroom! In his last days, Sheronda and her nursing staff along with Hospice, made sure Dad was comfortable. Dad never met a stranger and was always happy to start a conversation with anyone. Thank you, Karen, for being that person! Thank you Ana for walking my sister and I through the process of getting Dad settled into his new home and Jo Beth for hooking up his TV and being so very kind to him. My Dad had lived with my husband and I for 5 1/2 yrs before coming to Pacifica and I felt very reassured and confident that my Dad was going to be in good hands, and he was!!!

If a person needs minimal care this place seems to be okay. However if there are special diet needs, such as little fat and no fried foods, you may be stuck with an alternate of a hot dog for days on end. We were advised that this need would be accommodated and that's not true. The patient was hospitalized with "failure to thrive" and lost almost 40 pounds during his stay due to issues with the cafeteria. A request to deliver meals to his room was ignored. Medications were lost and not given, house keeping was poor. The patient has Asperger's Syndrome and they are unable to deal with the issues arising from that condition.

Everything about this place is EXCELLENT!! First of all, the staff and JoBeth Rowley is one of the best!! She genuinely cares for AND about the residents and shows it in everything she says and does! The food is excellent, the place is always fresh and inviting, rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff keeps it that way.

I would highly recommend Pacific Senior Living in Tallahassee. The Activities Director, JoBeth Rowley, is very creative and hardworking. She has a wonderful disposition and a great personality. My stepdad was in the Memory Care Unit for almost 3 months until we transfer him to another facility. Although there are definitely some caring, competent staff there, we had a bad experience with 1 staff person who was fired upon our complaints. Our biggest concern was the lack of staff on the Memory Care Unit at night. It appeared that there was only 1 person to oversee the entire floor at night and that person wasn't even always on the floor. Sometimes my stepdad fell and was not found for awhile. Even when my mom was with him and he fell in the evenings, it took her a long time to find someone to help, sometimes up to half an hour. Another time I was there and saw another resident who had fallen in the hallway and it took awhile to find staff to help him get up. It was scary to consider what would happen in the event of a medical emergency or a fire if residents had to be evacuated. One day there was a small kitchen fire and residents were evacuated during the day, but if this happened during the night and the fire was worse it could have been disastrous. We were told the staff at night would check residents every 2 hours. At one point we hired and paid for an outside agency home health aide to spend the night with my stepdad. This is an option to consider if you have a loved one at Woodmont. As I mentioned, there are some caring staff who do a great job, they just couldn't provide the level of supervision at night that my loved one required, as dementia patients can be more active and confused at night.

Fantastic, pleasant, and just over all great place. I just love the the women that clean my room. I go down to eat, come back and the place is spotless. The food just wonderful too! Not once in the 3 months Ive been here have I had a bad meal. Boy can these guys cook. If I ever have a problem I go downstairs and bother that nice gentleman Mr. Nick and he takes cares of it. It cant be an easy job dealing with older people like me but they do it so well! I couldnt ask for a better place than where I am. I appreciate everyone working here!

My dad was at Woodmont up until he passed away recently. Ms Sylvia was awesome walking me and my family through the difficult process. She spent a lot of time with us. She encouraged us a lot and took very good care of my dad. She cares and it shows!

I have a MNL living at Woodmont for over 5 years now and weve enjoyed our experience for the most part. Theres been some ups and downs but thats anywhere. We enjoy the warm and friendly staff, the food is good most days and the activities are engaging especially the brain games and the trips that Jo Beth and Tionna take residents on. Ive had a few issues here and there but the management team responds. I get a call each month from a different manager checking in with us on how things are going and lerting us know about upcoming events and stuff. Also for a few months all the managers were visiting resident apartments and stuff to ensure they were clean. They have some excellent housekeepers as a result now.

Woodmont is a fantastic retirement community with a homelike atmosphere. The management and staff go above and beyond the call of duty. I would recommend Woodmont to anyone looking to make a move to an assisted living community.

St Nicholas - (AKA Nick Heron). From before me moved mom into Woodmont,, Nick has been there every step of the way. He made may promises that I was unsure he could keep. But to my delight, he has kept every one of them. Mom is in for a physical issue but it was effecting her emotional well being also. Nick and the entire staff at Woodmont has made her feel so at home he is opening up and socializing! I can't say enough wonderful about how she has been treat there. Our entire family appreciates the care and attention she has received.

My experience with this facility has been outstanding. We had some minor issues with billing but that has been resolved. Everyone has been so Nice. You ask a question here and you get and get an answer. Aisha, Jerald and Nick are awesome. Latina and her nurses are just Super! Everyone is just really nice. I am a retired Fire captain and Master Chef of the USCGR and currently Second Vice Commander of the American Legion. This place has my vote!!!

When my brother came in over a year ago, EVERYONE was so professional and nice. I now consider many of them friends. Nurse Latina, Aisha the Business Manager, Jerald the Executive Director, Nick Heron the marketing guy, Kenny in maintenance and cant forget about Jo Beth in activities have all been so pleasant to me!!! There is no place else I will rather him be. If I have any questions all I have to make a quick call or show up and they help me immediately. Thank you to the staff and God bless them all. I know its hard work because I have been in their shoes but they all do it well!

I have been to Pacifica over the past few months helping some of the residents there. I must say the environment is warm and inviting. I love interacting with Cornell the concierge. Hes always attentive and helpful. He is a godsend to me and many of the residents and family members. The apartments I visit are clean and well maintained. Ive been in assisted and memory care in the bldg and both have been very pleasant. The care staff is typically friendly and helpful when needed.

The central gazebo is peaceful and the building layout is easy to navigate. The management team, the always-smiling front desk, the caring and professional nursing staff, and the maintenance and housekeeping staff all make you feel like extended family. I felt safe having my parents as residents.

On this past Sunday I visited the Woodmont Community with a friend. Upon coming down the hill in the car I saw a man walking his dog, approaching the building its beautifully decorated for Christmas. As we entered the lobby people was sitting in the living room, there was a nicely decorated Christmas tree and to my surprise the Nursing Director was vacuuming the floor. I can honestly say I was tempted to curl up on the sofa with a good book, my puppy and relax. Four words sums it up WOODMONT FEEL LIKE HOME !

Pacifica is a great place to live. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and there are plenty of activities for the residents to participate in, which I believe is one of the biggest factors in deciding on senior living facilities. There are activities planned every single day. Management is very friendly and are always working to make sure the residents are taken care of. Accessibility is also very convenient. The areas are very open for anyone that has wheelchairs and has wide hallways as well. I would definitely recommend Pacifica to anyone that is looking for a well-rounded senior living facility in Tallahassee.

Pacifica is such a wonderful and peaceful environment. They have the best care staff around. Ive witnessed that for myself. They have a great maintenance crew and not to mention the food there is great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner! As soon as you walk in you feel the love. Pacifica is more than a retirement facility. Its like a home away from home. Everyone is family, therefore they care for the residents like they would their own. I would place my family at Pacifica if needed. If any one asked me to recommend them a place for their loved ones I would recommend PACIFICA fast and without a doubt. There is always activities for the residents (Memory Care and Assisted Living everyday) to do, it keeps them active and excited about the next up coming day. I give them 5 stars. Pacifica is bright and welcoming! It is always a pleasant experience going here and seeing the residents. Residents are well taken care of and there are always a lot of different activities going on to keep them occupied. The environment is clean and the staff is helpful anytime residents need anything. Overall a nice and charming facility!

Great place overall! The atmosphere is bright and friendly and the staff is nice and welcoming. As far as activities go, there is always a variety of options for residents to participate in and Brittany, the activities director, creates a monthly calendar so everyone can keep up.
