One thing I can say about Saint Anthony is it has been a blessing to my family. My aunt has been a resident here for quite some time and what I’ve noticed in the most recent times is that she Smiles more and is more engaging. She specifically loves the many activities that they do and the engagement she has with fellow residents. I must thank Tracey the director of activities because she has been a pivotal anchor in my aunt’s cognitive rehabilitation. Her kindness, genuine spirit, and will to keep the seniors in that building engaged is 10/10 highly recommended! Thank you Queen

Every time I walk in the door your greeted with a smile from receptionist. All the help is always happy and they greet you as you pass by. Very clean property. My family member who is a resident there is very happy to live there. House keeping does a wonderful job with his apartment. Jaime H. is his main cleaning person and is very happy with her. Also therapy people take good care of him. Nedra has been wonderful and made the move-in so easy. This place is wonderful five star review for me.

I arrived early for my appointment and was able to observe the staff and the residents. It felt safe and warm. When I was searching for supportive living for my Aunt of 100 years old I heard about St. Anthony's in Lansing a couple of times. I have been in many rehab and nursing home facilities but this one far exceeds any place in past experiences. This is more like a resort. Nedra, gave me an extensive tour. The lobby has a fireplace with vaulted ceilings that looks straight into a dining room comparable to five star restaurants. The one bedroom apartments are very spacious. They have many amenities. I could go on and on with compliments and the stunning environment. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone interested in supportive living. An Absolute GEM!!!

If I could have given 10 stars for Nedra, that would not have been enough. I contacted Nedra for a tour. My dad needed immediate placement. Nedra was extremely professional and caring. She handled all the paperwork. She explained in detail how the facility could be beneficial to my dad. Nedra showed me the complete facility. They have nothing to hide. It was clean and smelled good. Unfortunately, my dad didn't meet some physical and mental qualifications for this facility. Nedra could have stopped working with me because she did everything possible to get my dad in this facility. Nedra contacted me after she found out my dad wasn't accepted with a referral to another facility and assisted with moving the process forward. Nedra blessed my dad more than words can express. St. Anthony is a real hidden gem! First I would like to give a huge thank you to Nedra. Coming to the realization that my mother needed to transition from independent living to supportive living wasn’t easy for me and my siblings. My first time meeting and talking with Nedra she definitely put our minds at ease. I was a walk in and Nedra literally stopped from going to lunch to chat with me and give me a tour. She educated me on the difference between assisted living and supportive living and gave me step by step instructions on the application process. She was amazing and I can’t thank her enough. The head nurse Alana was equally amazing. She made time to come meet my mom at my house before she moved in and really made my mom feel comfortable about St. Anthony. They even started sharing jokes and hit it off immediately. Once my mom moved in and we met the rest of the staff we couldn’t believe how friendly and accommodating EVERYONE was. From the front desk receptionist down to the overnight nursing staff. Literally everyone at St. Anthony is amazing. Also a huge shout out to Big Chris and the maintenance manager Mike. These guys are always there ready to assist and I truly appreciate them. They go above and beyond at St. Anthony and I’m extremely grateful to everyone there for making my mom’s transition to supportive living a great experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!! S.N. They have a really cool happy hour on Friday’s with margaritas and really good music. My mom just LOVES her new home 🙂

I was extremely impressed with Nedra and her team for their attentive care and spirit of excellence in taking care of the clients and family members that they serve. This place is honestly like no other senior living facility I’ve ever seen!!! It is more like a resort, to be honest with you. From the moment you walk into the impressive lobby, complete with vaulted ceilings, and super inviting sitting area (complete with fireplace), you are gobsmacked! The place is spotless! Then, you meet Nedra, who is compassionate, professional, and instantly likable. You get a tour. Really nice sitting/common areas throughout, many with televisions, one with a piano! The one bedroom apartments are a nice size and have ample closet space. Menu looks good. The whole place is clean, and well-lit. Residents look healthy and happy. Amenities number many. The (4 acre) grounds are spectacular and include a fishing pond! I want to move in!!! Alas, it’s for my mother-in-law! Can’t wait to make her a resident! UPDATE!!! Mother in Law is all moved in!!! So far, so good!! Thank you again, to Nedra, Lishelle, Anana, and the entire staff for making the process run so smoothly! We appreciate you all!!!

I highly recommend St. Anthony of Lansing for your loved one. Trying to find a trustworthy place for your family member is extremely tough. I was coordinating my mother’s transition from a skilled nursing facility to supportive living facility and St. Anthony was highly recommended by multiple people independent of each other. After several great conversations, I reached out to St. Anthony for a tour. I met with the Director of Marketing & Sales. She was extremely kind and explained everything to me thoroughly. I really appreciated her transparency. After the tour of the facilities, I was completely convinced. While we were walking, I paid close attention to the residents. Everyone seemed so energetic and happy. After the tour, she gave me a detailed breakdown of the application process. The Move-In Coordinator was in constant contact with me and ensured that everything was being completed accurately and expeditiously. My mother was eventually approved and moved in. That same night, the Director of Nursing, Assistant Administrator, Move-In Coordinator, and multiple CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) all took time to stop in to check on mother and introduce themselves. The very next day, the Administrator stopped in to check on my mother and introduce herself. I really appreciated everyone ensuring my mother was comfortable and felt welcomed. The staff of St. Anthony go above and beyond to ensure the highest standards for the residents. The facilities are clean, modernized, and uplifting. St. Anthony earned the trust of my family to care for my mother. I highly recommend St. Anthony of Lansing without reservation to care for your loved one.

Where do I start, I moved my mother to St. Anthony’s of Lansing less than a week ago and my wonderful experience with this wonderful staff started way before the actual move. Our first impression that we noticed is the caring attitude and friendliness of the staff towards the residents. However, what really impacted our visit to this facility compared to others was our meeting with Nebra Bridgeforth, the Director of Marketing and Sales for her professionalism yet friendliness, pleasantness and welcoming attitude, making us feel very comfortable to ask questions which were answered by her knowledgeably. As she toured us to the whole facility, she appeared to know every single resident by name, greeting them warmly with respect, embracing them like her own family and in turn receiving the same courtesy among them. Following the tour, Nebra sat down with us in her office, gladly and patiently went through the application papers thoroughly based upon our needs and limitations. During this process, she didn't make us feel rushed despite running over her normal working hours but instead she was more intent to make sure we got all the appropriate information and guidance in completing the application papers required. She continued to contact and follow up with us regarding the patient's proposed time of assessment and evaluation, and wanting to be kept informed and updated on the status of our family member who is currently hospitalized to facilitate readiness and availability of the room. As a whole our experience with Nebra was way beyond our expectation. She made us feel that every staff in the facility have the same qualities and professionalism towards all the residence in this facility. We personally thank Nebra for all her enduring efforts and pleasantness she showed us but unfortunately our family member have changed his level of care and cannot avail the services of the facility. However, it is our pleasure to recommend this community to others who may need a placement requiring the services offered at St Anthony of Lansing. . ,

I was looking for a place for my mom that was clean and well maintained. St. Anthony's was clean, well maintained and a whole lot more! The staff was pleasant and caring. I visited the facility on several occasions and was impressed with what I saw on every visit. Ms. Bridgeforth knew every resident by name and greeted them warmly. The residents laughed and joked with me while i toured the surroundings. The greenhouse and patio area overlooking the man-made lake are nicely added touches to a structure that has well appointed living spaces, ample dining areas, and entertainment venues on every floor. Just over 5 years old, St. Anthony's is a newer facility that is just what the south suburbs needed. Unfortunately, due to progressive health issues my mom was unable to join the St. Anthony's community, but I highly recommend this assisted living community to anyone looking for a great place for their elderly loved ones.

My father has been there a week. All of the staff here went out of their way to make him feel included and welcomed. My father says the food is good...my father used to be a cook. Nedra's set the pace with an outstanding first impression of the property, the residents apartment and overall personable feeling I got from her. Angela's consistant communication during the entire process, made me feel comfortable. This a great choice for my family.

Working with the staff of this facility has been one of the most inspiring professional experiences our life. They are extremely professional, genuinely concerned for the well-being of the residents and possess the interpersonal skills needed to work with the aging and their families alike. The facilities are well maintained and are designed to support the various needs of the elderly. Our mother had numerous concerns and each of them were addressed by the way they have things setup already. (e.g. Laundry facilities for the residents; in-shower seating.) We selected this facility for our mother and we know she will get the supportive care she needs now and in the future. We highly recommend St. Anthony of Lansing.

This is a beautiful supportive living community. When entering the property from 177th and Burnham Avenue, the peaceful and rustic ambiance of driving on this winding road sets a calming mood for all. Upon walking through the doors, there is a warm feeling and everyone is greeted with welcomes and smiling faces. The community itself is full of caring staff who have a genuine concern for the seniors they serve.

The cna's give the wrong meds and or dosage that land people in the hospital, residents have complained that the cnas will try to get out assisting with showers, there was a guy that not checked on for a week and he was found dead in his room, the residents complain about the food being terrible, and they have bed bugs, the list can go on. I am just tired of hearing things and it seems to get worse. The director of nursing is a terrible human being by letting it all happen and the administrator seems to not take alot of action. Nothing seems to be preventative and they hire lazy an uncaring C.N.As. I would not want my relatives going there.

I recently handled the admission of a friend to St. Anthony of Lansing, and the staff was very helpful with this case. They helped straighten out the admission requirements and, when my friend moved in, they were very helpful in getting him settled in his new apartment. The apartment is large and comfortable. We had lunch there, and the meals are excellent (which provides a good alternative to taking someone out to a restaurant, and the cost is lower than at a restaurant). My friend and I very much appreciate how helpful Nedra and Angela were.

In November 2016 I began looking for a supportive living community for my mom. I met with Nedra Bridgeforth the Director of Marketing & Sales to take a tour and learn about St. Anthony. The community is amazing!! It is bright, beautiful and clean. They offer a good sized 1 bedroom kitchenette apartment with a large bathroom. They have many amenities and various activities and outings for the residents. I knew that was the place for mom and moved forward with the application. Thanks to Nedra the entire process was done in a timely and efficient manner. Mom moved in on Dec 6th. The staff members are friendly and they have done an excellent job of taking care of my mom. She is happy in her new home and thankful to be a part of the community. Having her there has helped me tremendously by giving me peace of mind knowing that she is safe and that all of her needs will be met. Thank you St. Anthony of Lansing!!
