Regency has been a refreshing change in elder care. The facility has a positive attitude, which directly impacts the residents and visitors. The staff and management are genuinely supportive of the families coping with advancing age related issues of their loved ones. We learned that retirement communities have different personalities – just like people. Not everyone fits into a large, sprawling, more formal setting. We found Regency to be a place of community, intimacy, camaraderie, and a place where "everyone knows your name" – from the Director on down, The Director's availability and servant heart dictates the personality of the facility which we easily referred to as home. Regency was the perfect retirement community for us!

Regency Retirement Village has exceptional caregivers and nurses that truly care about the residents. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The Executive Director is very hands on, and quickly responds to emails and text messages. The wheelchair assisted van has provided great transportation for my Mom to get to her doctors appointments. I recommend Regency Retirement for all levels of care.

This is a great facility. Overall some people that are in management will monopolize you only to get whatever they need and I pray Katinas prosperity upon this company but that people will realize that you can't prosper by getting over on people.

Regency is amazing. Debbie was so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us set up a respite stay for my grandmother. My grandmother had a wonderful stay. They kept a close eye on her, as she requires lots of supervision for safety. She stayed busy with all the daily activities and she was able to have visitors every day. The facility is clean and the staff is professional and friendly. They were thorough with their communication throughout the process and during her stay. I would highly recommend Regency for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

I just wanted to say I'm very grateful for each of you for the role(s) you played in helping my dad feel, 'at home', during his stay from November through this past March! He could no longer stay at home, by himself! So, Regency and Ms Rachelle were referred to me! So, thankfully Ms Rachelle allowed him a place and space at Regency, while we were waiting for his DD214 papers to arrive! Thankfully, his papers came in late March and now dad is enjoying his new home at Floyd E Tut Fann State Veterans home in Huntsville, Al! Thank you Ms Rachelle and staff for your daily love, care and kindness for dad, Isaac W Daniels, for the short time he was there! God bless each of you and just know that you played a very important part in our journey! I pray that someone else will receive the love and kindness shown to my father, each and every day!

My Dad was a resident in the Memory Care floor at Regency. He was taken care of so nicely by the staff members. A clean environment for Dad, caring and sweet staff members. I wish they had an option for Skilled Nursing.My brother and I are so very appreciative and thankful for the years he spent at Regency!

My mother lived in the independent living side and later in memory care until her passing. Rachelle and her staff are top notch and they truly care about the residents. They helped us through tough decisions and were a wonderful mixture of professional and compassionate and I can think of countless times where I am not sure what we would have done without them. A facility is only as good as the people who work there and Regency has some of the kindest people you could hope for caring for your loved ones.

I enjoyed my visit. The check in kiosk was short but precise in capturing my photo and temperature for entering the premises for security purposes. The staff was very pleasant. I was given a thorough overview of the facility, amenities and financial pricing of the apts. No step was left unturned.

We visited the community some months ago. We came and had lunch and activities. It was awesome. Great hospitality from the staff , food was good. The outreach liaison who invited us was kind and professional. We received all kinds of goodies.

My Aunt Shirley Nails was placed at Regency on May 4, 2020. She stated she was pleased with the accommodations. Unfortunately, the staff has stated that her conditioned has declined and June. I am presently trying to move her to another Assisted Living Facility.

I wanted to write a review for the Regency Retirement Village and share our experience. We planned an out-of-state move with my mother-in-law of 90 years. This was a very tough move for us to make but we really wanted to have her close to us here in the Birmingham area. We had reviewed five other agencies in detail and on-site. The Regency stood out to us as one we should consider the most. After making the move now and being there six weeks, we are so glad we did. The staff was unbelievable and so supportive during this move and beyond. The administration is responsive and efficient. They were a great team and the help and support they provided for the transition was very professional. The layers of personnel providing professional care is exceptional and caring. In general, everything is great! Having been with other institutions previously, we are very impressed with the staffing, the cleanliness, and the day to day job that they do. But there is so much more. The food is the best we have ever seen in any kind of similar facility, it is just so good! The memory care section is colorful, happy, clean, and laid out perfectly for security, service, and most importantly, for social-stimulating activities. All in all, it was more than we had hoped for!

I was in Respite Care here for fifteen days. I had a comfortable room and excellent meals. The Care Givers were always kind and considerate. I had a call-bracelet that I wore like a wrist watch. Anytime, day or night, that I needed assistance all I had to do was press the button and a Care Giver would be there in a matter of minutes. I attend church services regularly and they provided excellent transportation for every service while I was there and for a medical appointment. If I ever have need of Respite Care or permanent Assisted Living I will definitely go back there.

Regency Retirement Village has provided care for several of our loved ones over the past 4 years. The Management and Staff personnel have consistently demonstrated their sincere interest in the well being and daily satisfaction of both their residents and the resident's families. My wife and I would enthusiastically encourage an interested family to tour the Regency Birmingham facility, to talk to the residents, and select Regency as your loved one's new home.

My 2 siblings and I had three years to observe the staff at Regency Retirement Village care for both of our parents, first in the assisted living facility and then longer in the Memory Care facility. The 3 siblings separately visited countless times and we always found the facility in good order and the caregivers providing an impressive level of comfort and care. All of our questions were answered promptly and to our satisfaction. Another sign of excellence in the caregivers was the way my mother always brightened and greeted staff with a big smile when they came in to check on her. My mother passed away in August, but we will always be grateful for the attentive care both parents received at Regency Retirement Village of Birmingham. Dementia and Alzheimers are difficult challenges for caregivers, but this group of Regency caregivers always met the challenges. We 3 siblings appreciate all those efforts over an extended period of time...

0ur parents were blessed to be in this warm and wonderful "home" for 3 and one half years. We feel that they were destined to be at Regency, after visiting 5 other places. The helpful and loving staff were always kind. Our parents recently passed ,knowing that they were surrounded by people who honestly do care. We would rate our parents last 3 plus years of life at the very best you could hope for.

I went on a tour of this wonderful facility and loved it! The people are so friendly and sweet especially Lisa Tinney?. The Chef gave me some delicious oatmeal raisin cookies?. My Mother loved it too, but unfortunately we weren't able to meet the financial obligations. ?
