Recently I had to place my mother into an assisted living facility. I looked at many and I had to make a very difficult decision very quickly. I chose Cedar Creek because it was close to my mother's home and was clean and friendly and something was always going on. Exercise, games, outings, crafts, dinners. The day I walked in to tour the facility, a guitar player was in the main room playing songs by John Denver who my mother loves. I took it as a good sign. I was not wrong. The director and her staff were all incredibly easy to work with and approachable. My mother was well cared for by teams of caring, capable nurses and aids. The food was good and there was always something to do or someone to chat with. I felt like I left her in very good hands. At the end of her life, my whole family received compassion and respect. My mother had the best care imaginable as she lived the last days of her life. I would chose Cedar Creek again. They work hard to make their facility like a home.

Cedar Creek Bloomington provides a cheerful and caring experience for its residents. I found the staff to be both knowledgeable and competent. When they do not know the answer to a question, they say, "I'll check on that and get back to you," and they always do so. The staff treats residents with respect and dignity. The food is great, which is more important than most people realize. The menu choices are healthy and varied, so nobody gets bored with them. There is always something to do at Cedar Creek...board games, trivia, etc. They even have a Euchre club. My main impression is that they care. They truly care about the well-being of their residents. If you are looking for an excellent assisted living facility, Cedar Creek should be at the top of your list.

My Dad spent two months at Cedar Creek recovering from a terrible fall and stroke before he returned to his independent community. I am located out of state, but the excellent communication from the staff kept me in the loop. Bethany, Polly and Debbie as well as the rest of the staff truly want the best for the people living in their community. He made some good friends, said the food was wonderful and that their music shows were excellent. I highly recommend it. When the time comes for my Dad to need more care I will not hesitate to have him return.

My mother moved to Cedar Creek Assisted Living (Bloomington) after a stroke caused a decline in her dementia. I have been so pleased with this community. The facility is immaculately clean (thanks to Holly's excellent work!), bright and inviting. My mother was able to keep her beloved dog, who gets lots of attention from staff and residents. The most important thing is that all the staff are wonderful! Kind, friendly, caring, compassionate. There is also physical therapy and occupational therapy available in house, which is great for my mom. My mother is an introvert, so she doesn't participate inany activities, but there are LOTS of activities available all the time. Ihave such peace of mind knowing that my mother is well cared by wonderful human beings!

My "adopted" parents have lived at Cedar Creek Bloomington since 2019 and we are still very happy with the facility, the kind, caring and supportive staff, and the array of activities available to residents. Whenever I see a family taking a tour, I always let them know how much we like Cedar Creek Bloomington and I never fail to tell them that if I needed assisted living, "I would live here".

I went in for a tour and met with Betheny! She is so kind and knowledgeable about her facility. She showed me multiple different style rooms, activities, therapy, dining room, and more. She helped answer all of my questions about the facility. It is a wonderful place, that is very clean and has great food! I definitely recommend anyone come in and check it out!

My mother lived at Cedar Creek for many years after a stroke. Everyone took good care of her and they all made comments to me (daughter) about how much they loved her. My mother never complained about anything and the staff was eager to help me with anything needed. They took care of her with hospice until the end. She never wanted for anything.

Cedar Creek provides exceptional services to my clients. Destiny, their activities director is always providing interesting engagement opportunities. Polly, their director of nursing is compassionate and caring. Debbie at the front desk is helpful and kind. David, in maintenance is responsive and skilled. Tammy, the administrator is accessible and approachable. Really all of the staff the nurses the aids the housekeepers and dietary are friendly and hard working. All along and the environment is absolutely lovely with 2 courtyards. My job as a Care manager is easy when my clients choose Cedar Creek. Entertainment

Cedar Creek of Bloomington takes excellent care of my father in law, Donald. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Debbie always greets us with a smile and an eagerness to help in any way she can. The facility is clean and well maintained. The activity director, Destiny provides activities and programs that are interesting and fun for the residents. We feel very fortunate that our loved one lives at and loves this facility.

My lady friend is in Bloomington facility. I must say so many items have been lost or stolen from her room. No one seems to care. Be Careful!

My mom has been there for two months and we have loved it (our family and her as well) she likes the option to walk around but then go and check on her cat in her room. The staff are all nice, the activities are diverse and engaging and the food seems like a mix of healthy with a little bit of sweets/indulgences.

My mother has been living at Monroe Place since October 2017. She really loves it there and has met many new friends. The employees are very attentive, caring and friendly. They have done a fantastic job of keeping the residents healthy and their families updated on status during this pandemic I would definitely recommend Monroe Place to anyone who would feel more comfortable and confident in a smaller facility.
