Lived at R.O. for approx. 1 1/2 years. The apartments are spacious, the food was excellent, and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It is a great place to live out your retirement years as long as you stay healthy...just don't get sick. Stay out of the nursing center. The continuing care concept that they sell you so hard on in the beginning becomes woefully inadequate when you need it. Having said that, I don't think this problem is unique to R.O. but rather an industry wide issue...

We have been residents for 4 years. We are pleased with the new friends we have made and the numerous activities. My husband and I moved in February 24, 2022. I have lived here 13-1/2 years. My husband died in September 2024, and the support from the Staff and the Residents was more than I could believe. We came at age 75 and probably should have come five years before. It isn't perfect--nothing is, but it is as close to perfect as any place could be. During COVID 3 meals a day were delivered to our apartment--no worries about having to go out!! The grounds are beautiful, the food is wonderful, and I don't have to worry about a thing!!!

My mother was admitted 3 days ago from the hospital, she had a 3rd fall at home. So my sister and I are pleased with the facility for physical therapy, and the next phase that comes. We have lived here about 7 months. It is better than I expected. It is a beautiful area, and all the facilities are well maintained. The food is varied, always many options offered. There are special dinners and festive parties. The employees are anxious to help you. Every stage of care is provided for, from independent care to nursing. My sense is at the place is quite friendly and quite clean. The staffing appears to be adequate. My only disappointment is that in the assisted living section there seems to be a large concentration of patients who are demented. My thought that was assisted living was for people who were mentally capable, but needed physical assistance. My loved one is quite intelligent. But there seem to be limited opportunities for higher level interactions with other residents.. Therefore, this unit seems to have a mixture of people requiring memory care with those who do not require memory care, but do require physical assistance. That’s a bit disappointing. I think those two populations should be separated. assisted living is assisted living. It’s not memory care.

Country Club living without the country club price or the golf course! A 2+ year search and the last place we visited was Regency Oaks. Moved in June 2025 and without exception everything has surpassed my expectations! The minute my husband and I drove through the gates and saw the beautiful 40 acres of trees and green grass, we were hooked. There are multiple benefits available here as many other reviewers have mentioned. After moving to Regency Oaks three month ago, we now agree the people (residents and employees) are the #1 asset here. Folks are welcoming, helpful and caring. It is a big decision to know when to move to a senior living community. We are happy and content with our search and decision to move to Regency Oaks. No place is perfect, but what sets Regency Oaks apart is the sincere efforts by the staff to address any questions or concerns you have. I highly recommend a visit and see if it is a fit for you.

Regency Oaks has been a wonderful place for my mom and dad. My mom and dad moved in 9 years ago and they have been involved in many activities. However, my dad passed 4 years ago but my mother had already made many friends and I feel very pleased and that she is safe and secure here. My husband and I were visiting there last November with my mom and that happened during hurricane Milt and this was a very safe place to be in. It is a well oiled machine kind of place. I was nervous going through a hurricane but all was handled very well! From food to A/C coming back quickly within 15 hours of the storm. Employees were able to bring their families as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who Wants great care for their family. As one of the residents said it’s like a cruise ship minus the water. Lots of activities if you choose.

My wife and I have lived in Regency Oaks Independent Living for one year now. We are completely satisfied with our decision to move here. Or should I say happy! After a 2 year search in 3 states, we couldn't be more happy with our choice. Staff is always happy to help, if needed and very friendly. Food is great. Grounds are beautiful. And plenty of activities, gardening, wood shop, bridge, yoga, tai chi and aquatics, just to name a few. Our kids like it too. I should add that we moved from Texas to Clearwater. A 2020 Update! We have now lived here for two years. On the 2 year anniversary we got out the fine wine glasses and toasted the wise decision we made in moving to Regency Oaks. Regency Oaks staff has been working hard to keep the residents safe from COVID-19 and have been very successful. Life Care Services has been a good management team for Regency Oaks. A 2021 Update! We have now lived here 3 years. Again, we got out the fine wine glasses and toasted our decision to move to Regency Oaks. During the past 12 months since our last post, staff's response has been extraordinary. No infections! Life Care services and our CEO got us the vaccine in March. 97% of the residents are vaccinated. Now we are back to normal activities. We cannot say enough about how good it is here. A 2022 Update! We have lived for 4 years now. Time flies. Our fourth toast to celebrate our decision to live here. A lot of COVID news since our last post. Last month (June) Regency Oaks had a 2nd booster shot clinic. Are we COVID free? No. The infection rate is low and cases are mild. Construction is continuing of the new Town Hall, the tavern/pub remodel is almost complete and all other dining venues are open. The entertainment is great, the staff is great and the residents are great. 2024 UPDATE: Not sure where 2023 posting went, but it was a good one too. My wife and I just celebrated our 6th year at Regency Oaks Senior Living. (RO) We are still happy and thankful for decision to move here. The staff is great and the campus is wonderful. All the construction mentioned in our 2022 post, is complete and being enjoyed by all the residents. There seems to be even more activities and entertainment than before. Stop by for a visit, you'll be amazed, and tell them Chris sent you! 2025 Update:Seven (7) years now at Regency Oaks. Life is still busy here. Many things to do and enjoy. Staff is top notch. We have been asked 'if we had to do it over again, would we?' The answer is a resounding yes. If you are reading this, I recommend you stop by the marketing center. Tell them Chris sent you.

We call it the Country Club I should have moved sooner. I’ll be here six months soon and I can’t say enough about how delighted I am to be a Resident. Soooo much to do. You can be as busy as you wanna be or as quiet as you wanna be, but I’m very social and I want to be a part of everything. Dining room has a wait staff to be commended. They try 100% to please and if they don’t have an answer for you, they will find one. Kitchen Staff is eager to please. Always willing to listen to Compliments or Complaints. Here's an update : After living here over four years, I can attest that Regency Oaks continuously provides great lifestyles.The words I wrote in the paragraph below still ring true. Throughout our experience two things deserve mention. First, now that we are free from the concerns of home ownership, it's neighbors and staff, which contribute immeasurably to our health and happiness. Come see the best kept secret in Tampa Bay! It's a wonderful and beautiful community with great people where you can make many friends and have lots to do. It's a much easier lifestyle where there's an abundance of new things to try or to deepen your current interests. The only regret that my neighbors express is that they didn't move here soon enough to have more fun. We're so happy that we came when we did. If you are searching for a parent, read this review. My mother has lived here for almost two years. I can't tell you how happy it makes me feel knowing she is in a clean and wonderful campus environment. I lived in Tampa when I found it for her, but I work now out of state. Key points to share: The food is fantastic, EXCELLENT. Believe me, I did the legwork! I ate at three other very nice retirement communities in the Tampa area and Regency Oaks blows them away. The chef is amazing. What variety. They have two dinning rooms and a separate restaurant/pub. There is a hair salon, gorgeous gym, pool, church services, maid service and several events (speakers, music, lectures) throughout the week and some on the weekend which is great for people without family in the area. They have a car service to help my mother get to appointments, now that I am out of state. They also have weekly trips on their shuttle bus to Walmart, Publix Grocery, etc. Every resident has to "check in" by pushing a button in their bathroom. If they don't by 10 a.m., someone is sent up for a welfare check. My mother was able to take out the carpeting and choose flooring for her place. We chose samples right there, by the way. If you want, you can make other changes to the bathrooms, kitchens etc., but her place was already very nice. Her place feels like an upscale condo. Her lanai is huge. HURRICANES: As a former employee of a state emergency management office, they handle this so well. They have all their staff stay over and I never have to worry about safety protocols. Here's an idea of how much mom loves this place: she's never around when I call because she's always out and about on campus!

My wife is most delighted that she is finally retired from cooking and cleaning. Regency Oaks has a beautiful campus with beautiful trees, flowers and immaculately kept grounds. Regency Oaks has been my home for over 10 years. It is for Independent Living and any other needs that you have. Looked at many places for my Mother and she moved here 1 year before we did. She lived to over 100 years old here and I am sure it is because she had so much to do. She didn't have to worry about running out of money, which was her biggest concern after our Dad passes away.

My husband and I have lived at Regency Oaks for approximately three years. During this time, we have been especially impressed with the dedication and professionalism of several team members. Justin Chapman, Security Manager, has consistently demonstrated a proactive approach in meeting residents' needs. When our air conditioner stopped functioning, he responded immediately and ensured the issue was addressed without delay. His support was greatly appreciated. In the Maintenance Department, Chris and Eric, under the leadership of Darwin, have shown excellent follow-through on work orders and are prompt in completing necessary tasks. We've noticed a significant improvement in maintenance services over the past two years, and it's clear that their efforts have made a positive difference. We are truly grateful to these departments for their commitment to excellence and for being so responsive to residents' needs. Thank you for a job well done!
