After my Dad passed away my Mom needed more care than I could provide. Country Cottages provided her with a safe and loving home. Mom was so well cared for. Just anything she needed was done immediately. The team there stayed in close touch with me at all times. They also helped me in so many ways to navigate this difficult situation. When it came time for Mom to go they were with me to the very end. The staff helped me to find a good hospice organization and also a group that could provide full time care in my home until she passed. Kelly and Sherry were with me throughout this heart breaking time. The people there are Mom's and my family now. I will never forget all they have done to make Mom and my time together possible and precious.

My father-in-law has only been there for a little over a month. But we have been very pleased with his care. We love the homey atmosphere there. We know we don’t have worry. That piece of mind is priceless!

Country Cottage has a warm and family atmosphere. The entire staff is excellent, professional and very caring. My mother says the food is excellent hasn't had a bad meal yet. I would highly recommend the Country Cottage to anyone that is in search of a place to putting their aging loved one.

We recently moved my sister to Country Cottages Assisted Living in Decatur, AL.The move and transition for my sister went extremely well and she is easily adapting to the smaller, family centered facility. She often mentions how much she enjoys the meals.

I moved my dear friend into Country Cottage a month ago. I cannot believe how much her physical health and mental acuity have improved in this short time. She takes part in all the activities and she feels like she is well-liked. Every time I speak to her she tells me I love this place and I'm happy here.

Home like atmosphere with amazing staff members. Each one caring and kindhearted attentiveness to individuals needs. Helpful with questions or special arrangements for guest also. Just has been a wonderful place for our Mom.

Country Cottage in Decatur was good for Mom. She was no longer able to stay by herself and we were all still working and not able to be there 24/7. At the Cottage, there was always someone there, the meals were prepared, her laundry was taken care of. If the workers felt like she needed something, they would always notify the family. There were different activities for the people to do and several times a year where family was invited to different functions. We grew to love the other residents as well as the workers. I would recommend it if someone you love needs a place where they will be taken care of.

Country Cottage is the best kept secret in Decatur. I chose the Cottage more than three years ago. Because of a broken hip my Mother could not live alone any longer. I am so thankful for the caring staff and I would choose the Cottage again. If you need help caring for a loved one, please give Susan or Kelly a call.

Country Cottage has been a great place for my Mother to live for the past 19 months. The staff have always made her feel loved and taken care of during this time. The location is comfortable and cozy like a home should be. The residents have always welcomed Mother and helped her to participate in activities. The staff has always kept me informed of Mother's involvement and health issues. I had hoped that Mother could live out her days at Country Cottage but unfortunately her dementia has progressed that she needs memory care facility. My family and I will always appreciate the care given to Mother at Country Cottage and would recommend it to others looking for assisted living in the Decatur area.

Country Cottage in Decatur is a wonderful facility with staff that take excellent care of the residents. My Mother lived at Country Cottage for the past 19 months where she felt loved and taken care of by the staff. The residents are also pleasant and made my mother feel a part of the community. The staff would stay in touch with me about how Mother was doing and were easy to work with for her care. Unfortunately Mother's dementia progressed where she needed memory care and no longer could stay at Country Cottage. I would recommend Country Cottage to any one looking for assisted living in the Decatur area - it is a comfortable and cozy home for loved ones that need assistance.
