We just moved my husband into the Life Guidance memory care at Atria. This was one of the hardest things I’ve had to go through in life. My husband is settling in very nicely and the staff have been a huge blessing to our family. Ingrid the Director has been there 24 years and she has been phenomenal. She sends me photos, updates me on how he has been settling in, I am very pleased. All of my interactions with them been great. He’s already made a few friends, he really enjoys the meals and the large courtyard he can walk around in or just sit and enjoy. They do his laundry, his medication, they help him shower and dress. All of the rooms are private rooms, they are bright and cozy. I feel good about this. The guilt has shaken off and I know he is being cared for. They also offer a support group we get to attend monthly and a family social which I think is very nice. We don’t have to go through this alone. Thank you Atria

My grandmother has lived here for two years now. The grounds are stunning, tucked away in a nice residential neighborhood. They offer boat load of nice amenities she gets to enjoy. It’s a larger campus compared to most but we love that, way more residents for her to mingle with and a lot more areas to visit and explore. We felt she would have been bored in the smaller facilities. We love that they have two restaurants, she has so many menu options it’s been wonderful. We love visiting her and getting chicken wings and milk shakes at the grille! The Cobb salad is outstanding. The staff have been there many years and everyone is so friendly and warm. We are very happy with Atria Gardens.

Amazing value. If you are in the market for senior living, you really should check out Atria El Camino Gardens. They offering a beautiful campus in a really nice neighborhood. Even though their address is in Carmichael, they are very close to the Arden Park area which is really nice with million dollar homes neighboring the community. It’s a great residential area, very safe, the food is great and the staff are incredibly attentive and know each resident by name. They haven’t switched owners in over 30 years, which happened at my parents previous facility and quite frankly that was a nightmare. My mom lives in the independent section and my dad is in their life guidance memory support section. The other nice thing is if my mom ever gets to a point where she needs more help, she doesn’t have to move to another location. she can stay in her same apartment and add on medication management or bathing, whatever she needs. Other places require you to move buildings or floors, at El Camino Gardens you don’t have to. The head manager has been with the company for 10 years, the memory care manager has been there 26 years, my moms housekeeper has been there 13 years, there’s a lot of long term employees which seems to be rare. I highly recommend you check them out.

I was looking for a place for mild movility problem seniors. I looked around and compaired the cost, rooms, accomodations and friendliness. And this place won. They serve 3 meals restaurant style. Room is cleaned once a week, seats are changed and washed. Staff are all very friendly !

Miranda and Dana are top notch. I visited about 7 places all around Sacramento. Atria was our top choice from the moment we walked in. They just offer a great energy. My mom has a great budget and she can afford to live anywhere she wants. There is something about the ambiance, you walk in and residents are packed in the lobby chatting, socializing, music playing. Every activity room they offered had residents out and about doing something. We checked out some of the fancy very expensive facilities and they felt like ghost towns, residents no where to be found. Miranda treated us to lunch, the food was outstanding (I was quite shocked actually) they actually have two restaurants which was really cool, my mom has a lot of choices. The staff have been so incredible. When did all of our paperwork after we signed up with Dana the Executive Director and she is by far amazing and someone very special. I highly recommend!

Friendly caring place with attentive caring staff and good residents.Lots of activity options. I have gained weight from foods served. Outdoor pleasant places to walk, indoor lots of halls to explore in each building. Mind challenging games, various trivia games, music appreciation, choir, much more. Bookmobile comes once a month, trips to stores, thrift shops, grocery stores, close by pharmacies, etc. Have a wonderful way to be of help and service in the Resident Ambassador program, helping new residents find their way around, how to learn which activity is where and so on.

Atria Senior Living is an Amazing Home for memory care seniors I have been married to my wife Lynn for almost 57 years she is 78 Unfortunately at 70 she showed signs of early onset 2 years ago I placed her in a different memory care facility After 1 year I was not pleased with the care she was receiving and moved her to Atria The care team here led by Ingrid Weber who is simply THE BEST at leading this team of care givers My wife has deteriorated with loss of memory and daily functioning However the team of Jocelyn and Laise in the med care room as well as Norma Lusarah Soko Luchia are simply AMAZING at making Lynn feel SPECIAL every day and taking incredible care of her everyday She tells me all the time how nice and wonderful these ladies are Their patience and willingness to help her makes her life so much easier day to day Additionally the food they provide she really enjoys and Editha does an incredible job of insuring the cleanliness of her room and the entire facility The programs for singing exercise and general fun make all feel included Lynn’s mom was here for 2 years about 6 years ago and we all felt it was wonderful then Lynn would have moved here initially but was on a special machine the facility did not accommodate She no longer needs that and it was such a BLESSING she is at this HOME now I can not say enough about how WONDERFUL ATRIA staff is Thank You for Your SPECIAL Care for THE LOVE OF MY LIFE Wayne Stokes

I visit Atria El Camino Memory Care and the ALF communities as a nurse. If I have a loved one who needs a place he/she can call home, I will chose this facility. We moved my mother-in-law out to California over a year ago and looked at several places for her that had memory care. Atria El Camino Gardens definitely gave the best first impression of all the places we toured. The facility was lovely with fresh flowers, spotless and cheerful. It did not have that sterile institutional feeling that some facilities have. The staff were attentive to the residents as well as their families. The environment was calm and peaceful. After 18 months I can honestly say it lives up to our first impressions - they do a lot of activities with the residents, the rooms are comfortable and bright, we always find her well cared for and happy. Would recommend to anyone looking for memory care.

I moved my parents to Atria El Camino Gardens on March 17, 2020. A day later they were forced to lock down due to COVID. The staff was wonderful, keeping my parents and the residents active and involved even though they were locked down. My parents would not be around if not for the staff and the facility care. Fast forward to 2024, my father is in memory care - or Life Guidance - and my mother is starting to lose her memory. The staff send my pictures, offer guidance and just take wonderful care of them both. I cannot recommend Atria El Camino Gardens highly enough. Yes, it can get pricey, but it's well worth the cost. I know they are safe and well cared for, even with their memory and physical problems. I live three hours away, knowing I can trust this place is such a relief.

My sister has been a resident at Atria since August 2019. Her apartment is very nice and overlooks a serene courtyard. The staff is attentive recognizing residents by name and treating them with respect. During the trying times of the pandemic the Atria has done a good job trying to keep residents safe. Update: my sister has been in memory care since July 2023. The first thing I noticed is the office of the memory care director is immediately to the right of the entrance making Ingrid (director) very accessible. The hallways are bright and cheerful as are the individual rooms and common areas. Staff is constantly working with the residents according to their ability. I’ve visited my sister unannounced on many occasions and she’s always been clean and well cared for.

After a long and emotional search, I am so thankful I found Atria El Camino Gardens for my dear 90 year old mom. I have a friend that is living in the Assisted Living building, and she recommended it to me. My mom is happy, contented, and I know she is well taken care of.

Even though this facility couldn't accommodate my dad's level of care and needs, their sales person Allison was very professional and helpful. She referred me to a place that provides a higher level of care that my dad ultimately decided on. I can't speak her praises enough for telling me what to ask for, the steps to take, and the knowledge she has of the industry.

This faclity fits my needs perfectly. When I was looking for a senior living facility (I toured about 7 facilities) I must say that when I walked into the dining room I said this feels like HOME‘. I tried to live on my own (I’m retired and totally disabled) and I found that , on a fixed income, I could not beat the price or care that I receive here at Atria.

I toured 10 local Senior communities with my Mom before deciding on Atria El Camino Gardens. I do my research and wanted my 93 yr old mother involved in the decision. In the end, the most expensive places didn't actually check all the boxes for us. In our top 3, were 2 Atria locations. Ultimately, we chose Atria El Camino Gardens, and i couldnt be happier. Is it perfect, no... but no place is. So far, 99% of the staff are great, and mom feels safe, and the place is very clean. Working with the elderly is not easy at times, but I think Atria does their best to provide activities and a community that celebrates life.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
