My mom has lived here since 2017. First in Independent, the assisted, now memory care. We have been very happy with all levels. Yesterday when we were there, the aids were playing games with the residents Several services are provided on site. Doctor, podiatrist, transportation, etc. I find the staff friendly and helpful. Mom has food allergies and they accommodate her food needs.

The staff and management of The Woodlands, particularly at the Memory Care unit, is simply fantastic. Every resident is treated as an individual with care and concern. It certainly makes all of us feel safe having our loved one in their care. In particular the manager of the Memory Care unit, Adele, is the best. She and the staff are true assets and allow my relative to live in a safe, well cared for environment. I would highly recommend The Woodlands to anyone!!!

My family member was a resident for over three years. The last six months was on memory care floor. The first part was 2 1/2 years on assisted living. The staff was extremely instrumental help to navigate many of the issues that arise with declining mobility and mental acuity. The decision to move my parent to another facility was only to be closer to the large family that lived out of state. Adele was a caring, approachable resource who I could count on from day one. She was patient, really came to know my parent, and helped me to accept the benefit of moving to memory care. The nurses and the aids were professional and helpful, and my parent came to love them as family. Teresa was compassionate and engaging and always eager to learn and care for each resident as if they were her family on memory care. Adele and Teresa would lead meetings with family members to see how they could better meet the needs of all. Their warmth and listening helped the family engage with connecting with all memory care residents along side the staff. I was most impressed with the ongoing visiting guests and activities they provided that was based on the newest information on growing population with dementia we are facing in the country. Upon leaving, Katie and all of the nurses facilitated the process and did so with patience, prayers and hope.

The Village of the Woodlands Waterway is a great place to "volunteer". I volunteered there for a couple of years. The staff was friendly, kind and readily available to assist. The residents were welcoming, and eager to participate. I enjoyed volunteering there, and if I had more time, I would do it again. I salute those who put in all the effort to make life enjoyable at the village of the Woodland Waterway.

I am looking after a relative long distance who resides in the Memory Care unit at the Villages. I could not be more pleased with the care and assistance she receives. Everyone is very attentive to her needs, and they keep me informed about every change or enhancement to her care. The unit director, Adele, is especially attentive, and takes a personal interest in all the residents. It helps me to rest easy knowing she is in such caring hands.

The staff and administrators at The Village at The Woodlands Waterway have gone above and beyond to help my 92 year old dad be comfortable and well-cared for. During an understandably messy tech and TV transition, they went overboard to be available to answer the smallest question and make sure everything was working just as it should. And they are so kind! I feel like part of The Village family, too, and that's such a blessing. My dad is so happy there and I couldn't be more grateful!

This past week experiencing a hurricane showed how a storm can bring a community closer together to get through the trails of life. Having a team & leaders that will meet you where your at shows dignity. Being able to show up to work with my kids due to no power at home screems union. My mother loves her staff but what assisted living center doesn't know to check their generators the day before a hurricane landfall. My mother is there without power for her hospital bed or cpap. They are telling her that there is no gas for the generator. Really?

It's just a lovely and peaceful community! I am a retired sous chef from The Village. My time spent with the residents and staff are some of my favorite memories. The staff in each and every department are caring and very capable in every aspect of any given day. I return regularly to share in different activities that go on from time to time. I am glad to see so many of the same residents and staff when I return. Comfortable living is priceless! I am glad to know it's available at The Village at The Woodlands Waterway and I was and am still able to be a part of it.

What seemed like a hopeless journey and being unimpressed with one memory care facility after another, we finally came across The Village at the Woodlands Waterway for a memory care facility for our mother. Working with Christin and Candice to place our mom in good hands was simple, easy and either one of them was always available to speak. Even during the weekend, my questions were immediately answered. Working with the team at The Village they tailored the care around my mother's needs with care, compassion and understanding. Any of the other facilities we toured, the food was worse than a school cafeteria, and was a basic thrown together mass cooking. The Village had incredible food, and put thought into the dishes they served. They also accommodated the numerous dietary restrictions we presented. With our mother being there for over 3 months now, we could not be more impressed with the care provided, the level of service exemplified by Christin and Candice and the overall cleanliness of the building.

I preliminarily toured The Village for my mother. Christin was my tour guide. The first thing that impressed me was no matter who we passed by on our tour, she greeted each person by name! There are so many positive amenities and attributes to The Village that I could envision my mother living there. When I got home, I rattled on and on to my husband about my experience touring The Village that we both said I want to live there! Needless to say, I convinced my mother about how wonderful The Village is and we have reserved her apartment! I cant wait for her to take her tour next week, and more importantly, get her moved in so shell be so much closer to me! Yippee!

Prior to COVID I visited this retirement home several times. I was always greeted very warmly by the reception desk (they even had my name on the welcome board) and their Director Candice Bingham is top notch. She has the utmost concern and care in her heart for these residents and looks to do the very best for them. The home is always so clean and inviting whenever I come. First and foremost, the nursing staff is top notch--they are Personable, gentle, and diligent. For example, my grandfather came from a different facility with bed sores--the nurses here have been so diligent with changing his wounds theyre almost gone. Their dining is A++ quality food with fantastic staff serving the meals. I have even witnessed the Chef discussing with residents what they would like to see on the menu in the future. This in my book is top notch service. They offer Sunday morning Church services on site. They are always offering different activities from outings to restaurants, museums, nickel bingo, painting, puzzles, etc... I appreciate that they offer 2 salons for the residents to manage their beauty routines. One thing that really stands out to y family is how happy and interactive the residents are with each other and the staff. These people are genuinely happy and it shows. Overall everything about The Village at The Woodlands Waterway is Wonderful. From the moment We walked in for an initial tour our Family has felt nothing but welcomed. Knowing our Grandfather is well cared for and happy is priceless. If you want the best for yourself or your loved one take the time to visit this property--youll be very pleased.

I’ve had the pleasure of being able to visit the Village at Woodlands waterway a few times now and every time I’m completely blown away! Not just by their staff, who are absolutely spectacular, but by how happy the residents are. All of the management and staff’s hard work has definitely paid off over the last year! Every time I’ve entered the facility I hear the residents talking, and to me that makes all the difference in the world, because when they clearly state that they’re happy and that this is a great place to live, you can trust it. I have done work in many assisted living facilities and retirement communities in the past and have never seen the residents as happy as they are here. The facility is constantly being upgraded to stay modern and up-to-date, the chef puts forth so much effort into his menus to make sure the food tastes wonderful, and you can feel how much everyone cares about that facility while you’re there. I kind of want to move in.

Beautiful Senior Community that offers 3 levels of top notch senior living. Located in the heart of The Woodlands surrounded by the best shopping and features. On the Trolly rote, amazing chef and food, bright clean apartments, wonderful sense of community amongst the residents. Fantastic, caring staff from front desk to maintenance. Candice Bingham even knows every residents name and what group in the community they are involved in and even who their friends are because she is amazing and truly cares about her residents. We move in so many residents to the beautiful Village and the unpack days always feel like a treat with the sweetest residents and the spacious, light, and bright apartments. Well worth the tour for you or your loved one who is considering a time to rightsize, make sure to stop by at lunch time to sample the delicious food.

When I finally convinced myself that I should no longer live alone, I started searching for a place to live where I would be near my family. After visiting several sites, I decided that the Village in the Woodlands was a place for me. It is well located for family and friends visits, shopping, banking, and medical and dental appointments. I have never been unhappy with my decision to move to The Village. In addition to it location, it offers so many activities. I am involved in eight activities and could be involved in many more. There is no pressure to participate in activities. It is truly independent living. The staff is helpful and friendly and the residents are friendly and congenial. The Village is a great place to live where I feel safe, independent, useful and can have visits with family and friends.
