I was contracted by Right at Home Oakland to assist a resident with additional help whom was staying at Lourdes Senior Community; the staff is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. As a third party looking in I was beyond impressed by their work here. Although I am not looking to utilize this rehabilitation center for any services, I am impressed enough to give my best opinion to anyone that is looking for such services.

Lourdes Senior Center really deserves 10 stars! My husband was there for almost two weeks and we have no complaints at all. The entire staff - including housekeeping was great! Always welcomed us with a smile, checked on our well being and made sure we were comfortable. The other residents also looked happy. The grounds around Lourdes were very nice and well kept up. It was a blessing to be able to take my husband by wheelchair outside and walk around the grounds. I would recommend Lourdes to everyone!

I just finished a 3 week stay at Lourdes Rehab. It was a wonderful experience. I received excellent care after being a nurse for almost 40 years myself, I know what good care is! And the views of the lake and the wildlife out my window made me feel like I was on vacation. I went in after a major surgery and I was kept pain free 99% of the time. I Would highly recommend them!

When my father was here I felt he received the best care from the early shift only the late shift told him not to ring for them I'm telling this because if you have loved ones here I interested if this behavior still goes on. Please have a family member check everyday to make sure your loved one is cared for and their needs are met. Most staff were friendly he liked the food and he was kept clean and no odor's in the building.

It is our honor to share a 4 star rating for Lourdes Rehab Senior Living Community. My husband had a stroke in 2021. He has been in and out of several hospitals and rehab centers. However, in April he was in rehab and then asked to stay as a resident. I can with my whole heart share there is NO place like Lourdes with their engaged Leadership Team … caring and very knowledgeable nurses not to mention all the amazing CNAs who work tirelessly to care for the residence. They promptly and thoroughly addressed my questions, turning potential confusion into clarity, uncertainty into comprehension. The service rendered to my family was not only as per our solicitation but exceeded our most ambitious expectations. Our needs were met with responsiveness, our wishes fulfilled with a level of attentiveness that was simultaneously astonishing yet comforting. I went to Lourdes for rehab for shoulder surgery. The staff are amazing. After rehab. I moved into their Independent Living. which is right next door. I feel like I'm living at a resort. Here again, the staff is amazing, the food is first class, activities are plentiful. All my needs are met. It's a bit of heaven.

Lourdes provided outstanding care for numerous family members. Most recently my sister resided at Lourdes after having a stroke at a young age. Employees provided care and friendship. Truly can't say enough good things about Lourdes.

Both my father and sister have spent time at Lourdes Senior Community. Dad in Fox Manor, Mendelson and Lourdes Rehab and my sister at Lourdes Rehab. Great place---all the levels of living were great. Dad moved as his health concerns changed and at each level he received the care he needed and we wanted for him. For my sister, she only was in rehab where she received amazing therapy. The staff was kind and she really enjoyed joking and spending time with many of them. 100% recommend Lourdes Senior Community-for independent living, assisted living, memory care or rehab.

My great grandfather had recently been sick and was treated at Lourdes Senior Community. The people there were just amazing in every way possible. The were so kind to him and treated him like family. I truly recommend going to this lourdes should you need post acute care

My Aunt has been at Mendelson for 5 years and absolutely loves it. They keep her busy with all the activities they provide. Prior to coming to Mendelson she was in Lourdes and they helped nurse her back to where she is today.

I Highly Recommend Lourdes Senior Community if you are looking for a Reliable, Caring, Compassionate and Safe Facility for your Loved One!!! My Mom was a resident of the Independent Living Facility, Fox Manor. We were beyond pleased by every aspect of this facility - From the Professional Management to the Incredible Staff; Receptionists, Cooks, Servers, Activities, Cleaning Crew, Grounds Keepers, etc. Everyone was so Personable and Friendly, they Always made my Mom feel "Special". The other 3 facilities on Campus; Rehabilitation Center, Assisted Living and Memory Care are also filled with Exceptional Staff, ready to welcome your Loved One in as Family. Best decision we ever made for our Mom. Thank You Lourdes Senior Community - You Truely are the BEST!!!

My mom is 99 and has been at Lourdes for over 5 years. I can not say enough about the high quality of care she receives. I truly believe it is the kindness and caring of the staff that has allowed her to thrive in her old age. Had a wonderful tour of these facilities. Environment & landscaping are green with trees, floral & fauna. Buildings clean & are continually being updated . Staff has been here for 10 -15 years which speaks to the working culture. Lunch we had very tasty.

Lourdes is a great place to live in the beauty of nature. Located on Scott Lake we often times see plenty of wildlife. This retirement community has a great social environment. The staff is amazing. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about Lourdes Senior Community. My mother was first at the rehabilitation facility there after a fall then moved over to the assisted living home right next door. Both facilities were just wonderful. The staff was caring, patient, knowledgeable and kind. There was always someone checking in on her and doing whatever was needed to make sure she was healthy and happy. I would highly recommend!

My 90 year old dad has been at Lourdes twice for rehab after hospitalization. He received great care from all the staff at Lourdes. The rehab team is amazing-he came home much better and stronger than when he came in. The nursing staff provided kind, compassionate care and was very responsive to his needs. I am a RN and I am very pleased with services he received and would recommend Lourdes as a great option for senior care.

My mom was at the rehab center 3 times and lived at the independent living for 2 years. The staff are excellent and the Catholic Mission is evident in all that is done on the campus. My Mom forged close bonds with Sr. Francis Mary and Sr Teresita and enjoyed the daily rosary and catholic mass several times a week. The staff at the rehab center were very focused on quality of life and my Mom was always respected. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms at the nursing home was private with private bath and shower. My Mom passed under hospice on the Lourdes campus and words cannot express the support my Mom and family felt as she transitioned from this world.

So far not impressed with this facility I was transferred here this afternoon. Seems only one nurse for the area I'm in. My medications were over an hour late and I'm still waiting on my asthma treatment. Most people here are nice but they seem overwhelmed and I'm having trouble breathing

My mother was there in April of 2020. The facility was clean and spacious. There were a couple of care givers who were wonderful, but overall most of them were not. If you are interested in their rehab facility you need to be very selective on who works with your loved one. They are not all the same. Unfortunately, my mom made very little progress in this facility. She started out ok then they shut down their PT/OT facility due to COVID. That's when her progress stopped and since she wasn't making progress they basically kicked her out of Lourdes in the beginning of a pandemic when every care facility was being locked down. The fact they did that was stunning and really showed me they didn't care about her well being. Thankfully American House in West Bloomfield took mom in until we found Vista Springs Trillium Village closer to my home. Please avoid Lourdes Rehab Center if you want your loved one to get well.

Strange place - my mom was there for three nights before I was able to get her moved. She went there for rehab after breaking her hip. Their visitation rules are extremely restrictive, they said because of Covid. This was late June, 2021. Although, I called about ten other local places and they didn't have any of the same restrictions. I couldn't help get my mom settled in, they stopped me at the door and said I had to leave. I had to push to find out what room she would be in, how I would be able to contact her, and how they would know to contact me if something happened. My mom was transported there around 2pm on a Tuesday. They left her in bed the rest of day in her hospital gown. I was able to talk with the social worker the next morning and things improved. Although, no one helped her get dressed or sit up really until the day she left. There was a nurse that was very helpful and found a laptop for my mom to watch a hockey game. I didn't realize how little they were doing for rehab until my mom went to the new location. In fairness, something didn't sit right with me from the beginning and I requested a move the first morning she was there. I'm not sure if rehab would have been any different. The social workers were nice and helpful in getting her moved. I wish I would have known what to expect from a care, rehab, and visitation perspective before she was sent there. The place seems clean. However, it was unsettling and not a match for us.

My father was placed here based on recommendation and I have to say I have not been disappointed! He has Alzheimer's and he can definitely be a stinker, but the staff has been amazing!!! From the minute I walked in the door when he was admitted, everyone has been so helpful, understanding and informative. They have gotten to know his personality and are able to handle him on his bad days with care, grace and humor. It has made this transition so much easier to take! Thank you!

Of course I never thought my mother would need a nursing home but as things turned out she did. We looked around and choose Lourdes. We are all glad we did. She need help throughout the day with personal care and the aides and nurses could not be more helpful. She gets up every day, visits with others, staff is friendly and she is doing better. Highly recommend.

We first brought our loved one to Lourdes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on hospice after suffering a brain aneurysm. She had been in ICU at the hospital and then under McLaren hospice care, completely unresponsive with no food or drink for twelve days. After one day at Lourdes, she started coming to. The next day she was asking for food and drink and within a week had started physical therapy. She is a miracle and the staff at Lourdes are miracle workers! She has received the best care, with wonderful caregivers, physical therapists and occupational therapists! She will soon be transitioning to Mendelson Assisted Living within the Lourdes continuum of care and is thrilled that she will be able to have the same therapists once she moves. We have seen other facilities where other family members have received care and none of them compare to Lourdes. Moving her to Lourdes was a family decision, and we are all so happy we chose Lourdes!

Highly recommend testing this place out if your looking for assisted living. They are reasonably priced compared to the other facilities I was looking at. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. My mother lives here and is satisfied and happy. It is clean and everyone there is friendly. 5 Stars. I also rated the Care Services and Activities 5 stars. I highly recommend this facility, You will be pleased.
