It truly is an amazing experience having my mother live at Maplewood at Danbury. It is an assisted living facility of the highest quality. The community is a very clean and happy environment from the moment you enter the front door. The care and attention my mom receives is beyond what I was expecting. My mom has spent the past year at the Maplewood community in Danbury. When she first arrived, she was not in her best health and was unable to live alone. The nurses, home health aides, community staff, and dining hall employees were all amazing, caring, and loving. Knowing she was in such good hands allowed me to get through my workdays without worrying about her care. The care team kept us well-informed, and the staff was always easy to reach by phone or email. The community itself is beautiful and very well kept. Her room was about the size of a hotel room, which was just perfect for her needs, and the entire community was fully handicap accessible. I am very happy with the care my mom has received at Maplewood. It is a wonderful assisted living facility, with doctors and hospitals conveniently located nearby. I would highly recommend Maplewood to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for their loved one.

My mother is so well cared for the staff is caring and fun. They play games and have a cute outdoor patio even in memory care. They make the group feel cared about like a little family. I would highly recommend it! It is costly but I know she is safe.

Attended the heart mixer for the our heart foundation this past weekend and was blown away by the hospitality and first class service of the staff and organization as a whole. The lifestyle director (Andrew K.) was an absolute gentleman and gave us a tour of the facilities. He and the rest of the team provide the highest quality of service and care for all residents and you can see it on the abundant smiles on the residents’ faces. Oh and the food - wow were we blown away by the talents of the in-house chefs (donuts are a must have). Highly recommend for anyone looking for an assisted living facility that feels truly like a home.

From the team always going above and beyond- to always seeing how happy and content the residents are. The activities and services provided here are indescribable-- they are everything you'd want, knowing your loved one is here! It is so nice to see how passionate and dedicated all the staff is here. I would recommend this place to anyone in need for a great home for their families or friends.

Where do I begin? My mom has lived in my home with me and my husband and children for 20+ years. We recently got to the point where we wondered if this was the best environment for her. She was not able to perform basic daily tasks, dressing, bathing, cooking, she stopped socializing, etc. I reached out to Maplewood, I used to work there as an accountant and knew that there was no other place that I would trust caring for my mom. I met with Lauren Stowell and Diana Lopes Maplewood at Danbury and knew right away this was the place for Mom! Fast forward, Mom gets dressed every day, cares about her appearance, gets her hair and nails done regularly (something she has never done!), has 3 nutritious meals a day, is involved with so many activities she rarely takes my calls, LOVES her aides and they love her, has made so many friends, so many positives I cannot even list! I want to personally thank the leadership team at Maplewood Senior Living, and the Maplewood at Danbury staff! You’ve changed my mom’s life and have lifted a huge burden off of the shoulders of my family! Mom is so happy and now has a purpose in life. With love and gratitude, The Rohach Family!

When the time arrived that our aunt (a single lady who never married) needed more care in an environment that was much safer than her own home, we visited a couple of communities. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and Maplewood made a great first impression. We gave our aunt all of the options (she made some of the visits with us) and she selected Maplewood. The facility is more hotel like than a senior care facility but it is the people who make the difference. Every staff member -- including entry level staff -- treats the residents with a genuine smile all while making sure proper care can be provided. In our case, shortly after our aunt joined the community, her level of care needs changed and Maplewood was able to provide the needed additional care. There was no need to put her through the trauma of moving to a new facility. Maplewood's care plan transitioned with her developing needs. All of this is great stuff but the real deal is seeing the interaction between the resident and the staff. Their eyes tell the story -- they love the residents. Our family is very fortunate to be a part of the Maplewood experience.
