Clarendale has exceeded my expectations and lets my family sleep at night knowing our loved one is cared for day and night. My aunt has been there for about 9 months and started in assisted living but transitioned to memory care. Everyone on staff went above and beyond to make sure every concern was addressed. The therapists are wonderful and really take a vested interest in their patients. The nurses keep us informed when issues come up and are always available or call back promptly. The activities group has blown us away - it's like being on a cruise ship and not only is it fun for the residents and provides the daily enrichment dementia patients need, but also helps with making friendships. The kitchen staff is attentive to dietary needs and the front desk is always there is welcome you and answer questions. The on staff maintenance crew fixed the AC issue as soon as they were called. Special kudos to Kathryn who is one in a million and the best advocate on staff. We checked out many places but it was Kathryn who made us choose Clarendale. Her knowledge was paramount to us and her care and compassion has followed through any time we have needed her. I highly recommend Clarendale of Mokena.

I scheduled a tour with Kathryn. From the beginning it was determined that My Mom wouldn't be a fit for memory care. Kathryn brought in the head nurse Lisa, who was very helpful and understanding. They took the time to lead me in the right direction. The level of compassion they had for me was incredible so I can just imagine what the care and compassion they have for their residents!! This is the place you want your loved one!! I wish My Mom would have been that lucky!!!

We literally looked at every single community around the area and chose Clarendale above them all for their amenities they offer AND STAFF. While the common areas and apartments themselves are beautiful, that's not why I'm rating Clarendale of Mokena with 5 stars. The employees are amazing. My mom lived there in independent living (no CNA care directly through Clarendale of Mokena) but everyone from the Executive Director, Tricia, to the head of the nursing department was so incredibly helpful. My sister and I had very little knowledge and experience with what we should have been doing, and everyone gave their opinions and advice in a non-pushy way. And Kathryn, the Director of Marketing, if I could give her an award and/or raise on my own, I 1000% would. Even after we signed the lease and my mom was moved in, Kathryn checked in on my mom, on my sister and I, with the CNAs we had to privately hire for my mom, with hospice. Just completely shocked and grateful for Kathryn's support and kindness. Those are things you can't pay for with money or ever fully express our gratitude with a Google review. I would recommend Clarendale of Mokena to anyone I know!

If you are looking for long term care for your loved one, no search would be complete without visiting Clarendale of Mokena. Looking for a suitable place for your loved one is incredibly daunting, their needs are complex: from physical and mental care to personal finance and budget to the convoluted, beaurocractic maze of Medicare and Medicaid. A knowledgable, honest person can really help you navigate the process. For us, this person was Catherine at Clarendale. Catherine met with us and listened to our needs. By the end of our visit she said I know of another place that may better fit your needs. My dad is now on the waiting list for the facility Catherine recommended. Instead of pressuring us and misrepresenting what Clarendale had to offer she drew from her experience and gave us great advice. Catherine's honesty and integrity are rare these days, she cared about my dad not his life's savings, for that I am truly grateful. Although Clarendale did not work out for us, it may be exactly what you're looking for. I recommend beginning your search with Catherine at Clarendon, at the very least she may save you time and aggravation.

In February, I brought my mom here for a tour. I had heard very good things about Clarendale, and it was time for her to make the transition to senior living. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very warm and welcoming. What was important to me were the residents and how they seemed. Every resident we met was smiling, talkative, and wanted to introduce themselves to my mom. We knew this was the place! In addition, shortly after she moved in, Clarendale was gracious enough to give me a position working in their bistro. I couldnt be happier, getting to see mom on almost a daily basis as well as getting to know all of the wonderful people here. Best decision we ever made!

The Star Rating is for Carolyn, Director of Memory Care Services, as well as, the aides, nurses and QLS who have spent countless hours in Arbor Creek and Maple Creek unconditionally caring for our loved ones since March 12th. We first met Carolyn when she began her position just weeks before the mandatory shutdown. Undoubtedly, she has faced more obstacles in six months than others have faced in entire careers. Through it all and, under the most demanding of circumstances, Carolyn has remained calm, reasonable, loving and loyal. She has kept a professional, yet personal relationship with residents and families, careful not to overstep or disappoint. I feel she has passed this on to most of her staff. This shutdown and pandemic have been extremely challenging for staff, residents and their families. This has been a terribly sad and lonely time for all the residents in Memory Care. It is obvious that Carolyn loves and cares for each resident and their families. She has gone out of her way to personally involve herself in the care of our loved ones at a time when regrettably we are unable to do so.

Clarendale of Mokena is the perfect place to entrust the care of your loved one when you arent able to provide that care yourself anymore! Their integrated approach to life-care makes your relative the priority in all they do but recognize the financial impacts that you need to consider as well. Their professional staff from the medical personnel to the administrators work in concert to earn your trust from the first day you step foot in this residence until the inevitable day arrives when you need to say goodbye for the final time. Their creative guaranteed pricing policy makes long-term financial planning a breeze as youll know when you sign the contract what the outlays will be for your loved ones entire stay. My aunt was a resident of their Memory Care Neighborhood for almost four years as she journeyed through the cruel phases of Alzheimers disease. She died two months ago but enjoyed every minute of her final years living with vitality in her private en suite room complete with delicious meals, lively entertainment, inventive arts-and-crafts, an on-site beauty salon for hair and nails and interesting field trips away from the residence. The entire property was always clean, neat and maintained to the highest standards. The nurses are superbly qualified and demonstrate daily the compassion and love these residents need. In her final months, Clarendale arranged for Hospice care and provided my aunt the dignity and pain-free living that all human beings deserve. And whilst that might sound like any facility available, it isnt for these people at Clarendale are special. I live 500 miles away and relied on the entire organization to keep my aunt in good stead given I could visit only occasionally. The staff always went the extra mile and acted on my behalf given my distance from her. Making a decision to domicile a loved one away from you is never easy, but often times it is desirable for your relative and family. Selecting a residence takes in-depth research and in-person visits to ensure you find the right fit. After seeing six facilities, I knew five minutes into my introduction to Clarendale of Mokena that this place was perfect for my aunt! And I never looked back. I just hope that when the time comes, an organization like Clarendale exists when I will need the specialized care and love that these people provide. I cannot say enough good things about these angels. Do yourself a favor and put Clarendale of Mokena on the top of your list!

Here at Clarendale of Mokena we have some of the most amazing residents, families and staff. Our residents make my day every day I come to work. There are so many acts of kindness that I could write a book. I will give you one example. One of the residents tell me I should go outside and get some fresh air and not work so hard, so when she goes out she will come to my office with her hands cupped and throw me a breath of fresh air. That makes my day. Families have been so supportive during these hard times dealing with COVID-19. I appreciate their understanding and acts of kindness. We have the best staff they come to work during these trying times in our nation always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty with a smile and respect for the residents that we call family. I would like to say Thank You and Happy CNA week to all the CNAs without you we could not provide the Great care that we strive to provide.

My Mom has been a Clarendale resident since May 2017 and the entire staff has been wonderful, especially the nurses and nursing aids. We needed to move my Mom on short notice from Pennsylvania to Assisted Living and again from Assisted Living to Memory Care - on both occasions, the staff was able to advance these relocations in a very expeditious and professional manner such that I was able to remain focused on my Mom. The facility common areas and resident rooms are clean and well maintained and there are numerous activities available to promote socializing. Finally, the facility is located in a wonderful area that includes a bike trail and plenty of nearby shopping options.
