I have visited my parents many times since they moved into Mill Creek Village. The staff is always kind and caring. They understand the needs of seniors in assisted living.

Our mom was in assisted living and then in memory care at Mill Creek. Over the three years she had the best care we could have imagined. She was always treated respectfully and the Staff treated her like loved family. When we were visiting the staff was always welcoming and kind to us. We never saw anyone having a bad day. We will always be so thankful for the great caregivers at Mill Creek.

I live in the independent living cottages here. Today was wonderful experience for all. Id guess 40 residents with signs saying Love you and Miss you sat in chairs in the driveway while 89 cars of people and petsdrove thru the parking lot with signs saying things like Miss you Grandma Susan.And I didnt count the fire truck andStar Spangled Banner!My Mom was in another Americare facility for several years, so Ive been on both sides. And I so appreciate all they do!

We've found the "cottage" where we're living quite comfortable, and much more spacious than we would have expected in a retirement village. The grounds are nicely landscaped, and attended to on a regular basis. The staff is friendly. On the minus side: three housekeepers have come and gone in the 18 months we've been here, as has the activities director assigned to our Independent Living area. The maintenance guy is gone and not yet replaced. The weekly "light housekeeping" service includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage and recyclables, but no furniture dusting. The windows were hosed but not washed. There has been no "yearly deep cleaning." In our estimation, the meals leave a lot to be desired in terms of taste, variety and presentation. The monthly rent is on the high side. At the moment, six of the 15 units are vacant. Is there a marketing campaign to attract more residents?

Excellent First Impression I have recently relocated my 90-year-old mother to Columbia, MO from the Chicagoland area. She lives with moderate dementia. We are just beginning our new journey with Mill Creek Village assisted living staff and I am extremely grateful for the patience and care extended us. When we chat with other residents at lunch they all say how nice a place Mill Creek assisted living is...great food and very caring staff. I'm so glad we chose this community. They have created much peace of mind for me as we all work together to help my mother transition.
