The staff here is always welcoming and friendly. They are consistent with providing the best of care for the residents, along with a calendar of regularly scheduled activities for them to engage in and have fun with. This facility also houses an Outpatient clinic that provides both Physical and Occupational therapy. Their dining room is open and spacious with natural light, and always smells delicious at meal time. The grounds are well kept. The apartments are clean and well maintained. I feel very confident in having my loved ones residing in the care of this residence.

The Waterford is like family, my mom has been there for a couple of years and we are so grateful to the staff that makes her life a little better every day. A great example is recently my folks had an anniversary. The activities director Taylor, (who does so much more) sent them on anniversary dinner at one their favorite spots, flowers, wine it was amazing! She keeps the guests engaged and you never know what she’ll think of next. What a treasure!

My father has been a resident of The Waterford on Cooper (Arlington, TX) for several years - and he loves it. The staff has been a wonderful comfort to both my father and our family. They always go above and beyond. His studio room is bright with natural light, has a large bathroom, a kitchenette, plenty of storage, and is always clean. The laundry service is a great option. And he always says he is "stuffed" after every meal. The Waterford has a warm and friendly atmosphere and we are grateful we found it for him.

This was the perfect place for Mom. She was so happy there and she told so many family members how well cared for she felt. Quote "I get meals served, laundry done and medication delivered. I have nothing to worry about". When I would go to visit her or pick her up for family time, everyone that worked there told me how much they loved her and I have no doubt she was well cared for. This is an assisted living place to not only live but also develop meaningful friendships and the staff makes that living experience wonderful. For Mom...I would not have changed a thing.

My dad is very happy with this facility for his wife of almost 60 yrs. However my first impression saw 10-12 residents in memory care were placed in front of a tv rather than engaged in any kind of activity after lunch while the 2 employees sat talking to one another for over an hour. I’m hoping that was a just a lazy Sunday afternoon and not the norm.

Every Nurse/Technician (Assisted or Memory Care) I’ve spoken to is top self stock worthy of caring for my great grandparent. (In our experience the people/folks at work are worth their salt and (/in our experience/) are a better fit for our needs rather than hospice )

Relocating my 95 year old mother from Beaumont to Arlington at the Waterford was a fantastic decision. The process was challenging but the Waterford made this painless and welcomed her with open arms. She is very happy. The care is outstanding, and the staff goes out of their way to engage her in conversation and to be included in daily activities. I happened to be visiting my mother during the tornado warning this evening. Their response to the storm was precise and caring. After moving the residents to the hallways for safety, they were kept hydrated until the storm passed, and they were able to serve dinner. The staff has gone out of their way to welcome my mother who is new to the community, and to ensure that she feels at home in her new apartment.

We have been so impressed with the sales staff as well as Gloria, the nurse that went out to visit my mom and assess her placement. Gloria is a real jewel, she quickly picked up on what my mom's day was like, she and my mom connected easily and she was very objective and honest when assessing my mothers abilities. Toni was fantastic about communicating with us, checking back with me and getting me any information I needed to make decisions. The facility was pleasantly quiet, yet, I saw several residents out and about as we toured and several playing cards. One resident stopped us and wanted to show us his room. The rooms are generously sized for a senior. The staff was so very friendly and welcoming, the courtyard was an added bonus and of course the location for North Arlington residents can not be beat.

Mom has been a resident for 3 days now. I have been so moved by the attention she has received in getting her acclimated to so many new things in her life. She has been treated with respect, gotten lots of hugs, been "adopted" by Taylor Wright, the activities director. The nurse has been to see mom several times, as well as the amazing Brenda, who continues to help our family in helping our mom. Each day mom has had visits from the other residents, and is receiving such tender care. Decisions like these are hard for those who have to make them for our loved ones. Thanks to everyone at The Waterford, we are not walking this journey alone.

Wanted to give Warren some appreciation, he has been running the kitchen here for over 10 years and is always smiling and serving some great food !! But this Sunday I went to visit my Mom and have a cup of coffee in the dinning room. She informed me that her toilet was stopped up. Like all place the maintenance man needs a day off too. When Warren heard us talking about it, he finished serving everyone their breakfast. He went and found the snake and we went and unstopped my mother toilet. He is a TEAM player. thank you Warren. When my mother-in-law moved in I was able to be more involved and her care was good. Since the Covid shut down, there seems to be significant turnover, the activities have decreased to be almost non-existent, the caregivers over all are inattentive and communication is lacking. This is such a shame. My mother-in-law moved here in April 2019. She enjoys the food and has made new friends. We have been blessed to have the staff available when she needs help. There are 2 nurses on staff which is a real plus. If I could add anything it would be someone that could play Chickenfoot with her.

We moved my wife’s Mom in 2 months ago. We could not be more pleased with all facets of care. I recently moved my mother from a different facility to place her at Waterford on Cooper. Even while experiencing many challenges with coordinating the transition, Cheryl and Emma from Waterford were very accommodating and provided guidance as well as personal assistance with ensuring a smooth transition. Staff has been very helpful and attentive to our needs during the transition. The facility is great with many activities for residents. During our move the residents were warm and caring and immediately invited my mother to participate in activities. I've already witnessed a positive change in my mother's demeanor and am looking forward to my next visit with her. I would highly recommend The Waterford on Cooper if you are looking for a friendly, safe, clean and caring facility.
