The Atria has been great for my mother. The location is quiet and close to doctors and shopping. The food is good with 2 choices of entree at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is made to order. Exercise sessions are offered Monday-Saturday. The floor plans are the best in the immediate area. Housekeeping is incredible! The business director is very helpful with our account. The new resident services director and the med room supervisor are friendly and very experienced. Caregivers are wonderful! Overall so glad we chose this place.

My sisters and I moved our mom to Atria a few months ago, while she recovers from a fall. It is a clean, well run operation, as I have observed visiting at many times of day and evening. The caring staff makes the difference. CB Director Kwinie Cupidon provides exceptional customer service. Kwinie is always available to address our questions with a smile. She has helped us figure out finances, levels of care, wifi, furniture rental, and the list goes on. Her experience level and the kind and honest manner that she does her job is much appreciated.

As a health care worker I had heard awful stories about assisted living facilities. As a result I protested checking into one for about 4 years. When I developed weakness and numbness in my right leg and had several falls, I decided it was time to do something to take some of the worry off my family. Atria was the first place I called and I was immediately treated like a family member. The management staff was so welcoming. I was in Amarillo at the time so my granddaughter came to meet the staff and check a room. I was told if I didn’t move in she would. I love it here, the staff is the best, there is a lot to do and I am already getting stronger. My only regret is I did not do it 4 years ago. I am recommending Atria to everyone I know.

Atria has taken excellent care of my aunt. Their staff is kind and gentle. They have taken her to the rose garden , out to a Mexican restaurant and to see holiday lights. They provide transportation for her appointments and always have holiday celebrations. Room sizes and food is excellent. For me, what stood out was their staff. They treat everyone like family. I feel relieved to know I will have a place for my mom when the time comes.

You can tell how great a facility is by looking at their residents. Everyone one of them was happy! The memory care side is top notch. I have looked around at MANY places in this area trying to find the right place for my 90 year-old mother, and this place is wonderful! The staff are all very kind and seemed to genuinely care -- I could tell that the residents are well cared-for, and the sense of community was evident from start to finish. The hardest thing seems to be not having a revolving door of staff, so I'm really impressed to find out that many of their staff have been there more than 10 years -- that says a lot! Definitely check out Atria Carrollton if you need a truly high-quality place for your mom or dad -- you'll see for yourself that it's truly special!

My father has lived here for 15 months and it's a fabulous place. He loves the food and the community. He has met many people and has a lot of friends. He also enjoys the activities. Prior to moving, he lived alone, and did not have anyone around. He lived in a small town, and did not have good healthcare. Since moving, I've set him up with improved healthcare. I know he's safe, and they will check on him if he doesn't come to the dining hall for a meal. He's so much happier and talks with everyone. His whole demeanor has improved for the better. The staff are fabulous. He gets physical therapy. I am very pleased with the whole process from the application, to moving, to day to day. I will often go visit and eat with him. I've gotten to know the residents and staff. Everyone is extremely kind and inviting. Like a little family....

I have a sister who has lived at Atria since June 2023 and has been in the Life Guidance (LG) (Memory Care) area since August 2024. She loves living there and the entire team at Atria makes her feel so special. They work tirelessly to make sure she is involved in activities and not just staying in her apartment. This Team in LG is beyond amazing. The Team consists of: Marcella Cassidy Elisha Jasmine Jackie Rupa Cindy Grace Aliyah Fatima Eileen Vanessa They love my sister and it shows on each of them. My sister seeks constant love from all of them and they are always willing to give her a hug and that just makes her day. Their job is not easy, I can assure you and it takes a special person to do the job and they always seem to have a smile on their face. THANK YOU TO THIS ENTIRE TEAM! The leader in the LG area is Haley and I am beyond impressed with her. She is so accommodating and willing to work with me to help ensure that my sister has exactly what she needs. They are willing to constantly tweak the care they deliver based on my requests and I always feel like they have the attitude of doing whatever it takes. Haley impresses me each and every day. I can’t say enough about this amazing Team. It takes a village and I am so fortunate and grateful that these individuals are in our village. When things don’t go as planned, and that may happen, as mistakes do occur, it will not be intentional and it will be corrected and always with a serving heart. They truly want to provide the best care to my loved one and they want me to be involved. As I said, it takes a village. I could not be happier with this Team in the LG area. I love Atria Life Guidance!

My mother-in-law was in an assisted living facility when her dementia worsened and we had to move her to a memory care facility quickly. We visited many facilities. Some smelled, some were depressing environments, and some were beautiful but staff lacked warmth. When we visited Atria in Carrollton we were met with warm caring management and staff from the top down, many of whom have worked at the facility for 5, 10 and 15 + years. We moved my mother-in-law to Atria's memory care January 21st. Sadly when we moved her, we did not know my mother-in-law was losing her eight year battle with ovarian cancer and she passed away March 18th. We are greatly comforted by the fact that we know she was in a loving and caring home for the past couple of months. We came to know the caregivers, on staff RN, activity director and management well. During the hospice time period my mother-in-law was in a coma for five full days and the caregivers and staff accommodated all our needs while we stayed round the clock. If you've been through the final stages of hospice you know what a horrendous and exhausting journey it is. The Atria staff cried with us, brought us food and tried to help us as much as possible. They even came to the funeral and reception. They became part of our family. We love them all so much we plan to continue to visit and spend time with those in the memory wing who have no family. This is an exceptionally caring facility and I wouldn't hesitate to move a loved one here.

My husband and I moved in to Atria Carrollton November 1, 2012. Both of us were in need of some assistance. John is suffering from Alzheimers and I was recovering from a broken femur. We have found the staff here to be extremely loving and helpful. I could write about several staff personnel, but will choose one very special to both John and me. Tina is the aide who assists with John's bath. But she does much more for us than that. Many times she has folded the laundry, brought our food up to our apartment, taken us out to sit on the porch, weather permitting, and, basically just assisting in numerous ways. She always is pleasant, with a smile on her face, and checking in to see if we need her help. We observe Tina when the evening meal is being served and we feel that she is the most efficient person. She performs above and beyond her duties here. This is why we think so highly of a very special Atria employee.
