Atria of Bethlehem is THE finest senior living community we have ever encountered. AND we viewed many! As you step through the front door, we are greeted by an atmosphere of warmth, dignity, and genuine care that sets this facility apart from others. Our uncle's apartment is very comfortable and it maintains modern heating, air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette and full bathroom. We so appreciate the personalized and outstanding support he receives 24/7 from the exceptional staff! The caregivers, nurses, and activity coordinators are not only highly trained and professional- but also deeply compassionate. They treat residents like family, responding promptly to their needs with patience, respect, and a smile! Our Uncle was a professional bowler in his day. Atria actually created bowling games when our Uncle requested them! Cheryl- the Activities Coordinator created an actual bowling alley facility and Sal is able to bowl and play Wii bowling a few times every week! Recreation and wellness programs are engaging. From fitness classes, gardening clubs, live music performances, educational lectures, and exciting outings. There is something meaningful for every interest and ability level. The sense of community is real. Upon returning from a doctor's appointment, we turned into the private road leading to Atria- and our Uncle said, "I'm back home." As we reentered Atria, we all were greeted with friendly smiles. We have peace of mind knowing our loved one is happy and secure at Atria of Bethlehem and that he is in such capable hands. The positive energy and respectful environment gives us peace of mind every hour of every day. From restaurant-style meals featuring fresh, nutritious, and delicious options with plenty of variety and accommodations for special dietary needs to the nursing staff who knows our Uncle and his considerable medical needs, Atria gets a 10+ rating from us! From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel like she wasn’t just moving into a residence—but becoming part of the Atria family. Alyssa, Dorine, and Todd have been especially kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer every question, ease our concerns, and make sure my mom felt comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. I have lived at Atria for two and a half years and it’s been a remarcable experience. I can’t say enough about how great my journrey has been here. When I came here I was in bad shape.i could not even sit up without help.With the most caring help, and knowledgeable staff who truly were interested in helping me as a person, I transitioned from a wheelchair to a walker to a rollator to a cane and now NO assistance.It was the little things also that added up, like waking up and finding someone had come into my room in the middle of the night to “straighten up”, checking up on me continuously, making sure I was comfortable, encouraging me to come to activities. Fox Therapy is in house and worked wonders with highly skilled staff. Nursing was quick. to catch problems.The exercise program was key and made a tremendous difference. Activities were amazing run by engaged life and kept our minds positive and growing, not gloom and doom. Administration is always there for us. Alyssa does the job of 6 people and yet maintains her sense of humor and rapport with the residents. It is for this reason that i now feel confident to move on to independent living. My Grandmother still always talks about this place being the best place she has lived in. It was heartbreaking for her to move very far away. She loved the staff and the people were polite and friendly. She always talked about a staff member named Millie, and how patient, funny and loving she was, her friends that she had made over the time she spent there. I spent many years in the senior living industry, so if anyone was going to find any of Atria's weak spots, it would be me. During the 8 months my mother lived at Atria Bethlehem, I couldn't find a thing to be concerned about. I especially appreciate the job Alyssa (ED) and Crystal (DON) do to ensure staff and residents are functioning their best. My mom was in pretty bad shape physically and emotionally when she moved in. She got so much better that it was shocking to our family. From the nutrition services to activities to just the social aspect of being around other people, they did an excellent job bringing her back to life. She herself has no complaints and still talks with fondness about her time at Atria and what they did for her. I would not hesitate to have a loved one live there.

My parents decided to do respite care at Atria. My father was recovering from surgery and Atria was just the perfect place. The staff was caring and very responsive. I was very concerned with their transition to this new environment, but quickly my confidence in everyone that works there helped in erasing any concerns or worries. Any problem or concern was quickly addressed and resolved. I can not recommend Atria more.

My mom has been living at Atria Bethlehem for about 3 months, and we are happy we chose this new home for her. The staff is very kind and supportive and finds many ways each day to help her and show they care. They also are committed to monitoring her health. The facility is kept very clean. There are many activities, healthy and varied meals, and a wonderful service where residents can be taken to medical appointments, which is very helpful.

When looking for an assisted living facility for my husband and I to live, my daughter and I visited 9 different communities. Hands down Atria was the one that stood out as the right place for us. The weekly entertainment is always a treat, and the days are full of fun activities such as Bingo, daily exercise, painting, crafts and happy hours. Atria has a transportation service which is super helpful, since my husband and I unable to drive to get to doctor's appointments. Now that we are here for over 6 years, we know we made the right decision. The Atria staff is our second family. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond to help one another and our neighbors.

Dec 2022: Update: I live at Atria to oversee my mother's well being. The staff here are genuinely caring, qualified across departments, strive to keep improving, always ready to listen. Two strengths of the facility are definitely safety and wonderful great diversity of activities. Food is very good often with nice alternative choices . Social contact is very easy, too. Come see for yourself! 6 months ago: Starting with Dorine, all the staff I encountered are superb to assist, guide, answer ongoing questions. I liked the facility so much for my 91-year old mom, I'm soon to join her as a fellow resident in my own separate studio! The level of expertise, professional oversight, and breadth of activities here is remarkable. Personnel run a tight ship relative to services and safety without being intrusive. There is a palpable sense of caring and warmth here, too. I think my adjustment to community living is going to be easy and Atria will soon feel like family and home. Check them out!

Atria Senior Living in Bethlehem, PA was very lovely and appeared to be a well organized facility. Doreen, the admissions director who gave us the briefing and the tour was incredible and very knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of our questions as we are trying to determine which facility would best suit the needs of our 93 year old mother. We got what we were looking for and had a very good sense of the facility. I was very impressed with the staff. They were very courteous and going about their jobs. The activities looked amazing and the dining room was beautiful. The extra personal care that my mother would require would be provided throughout the day.

I took a tour alone, and then with my husband, his brother and their Mother in order to determine if Atria was an appropriate living situation for my Mother-in-Law. Everything about Atria was wonderful - a sign greeting us; pleasant staff throughout; positive residents; and services that met everything we were looking for. We toured 2 other communities, and ended up going with a different community because the living space was slightly larger than the room at Atria that we wanted. It was a tough call. It was a wonderful time chatting with Dorine, who did a great job throughout the information sessions and tours.

As a physical therapist who has been to several assisted living/ personal care home, this is one of the best around. This place is well kept and maintained. Staff is always helpful to their resident and you can tell that they really care for the well being of their resident. They have varieties of activities and entertainment which caters to everyone.

My mother has been a resident at Atria Bethlehem for 5 years. From the moment I saw Atria I knew this would be a good place for her. The facility is very attractive and clean. My mother is happy there with the many activities Atria has from morning to night, her lovely apartment and very good food. The staff is kind and attentive to the residents. Atria Bethlehem is a wonderful place that was the perfect answer to our situation. My Dad wanted his independence and I wanted him close to me and good medical care with a caring staff. Now he has it. Dorine is amazing and extremely helpful, especially when dealing with a novice (me). She reassured me that Dad would be happy and she was spot on. Mildred is in charge of the medical side and is fantastic. I just can't say enough about Atria Bethlehem. It is so wonderful to see my Dad happy and cared for, and I now can see him more often since he is closer.
