My mother has lived at Morada Abq for the past 2.5 months in the assisted living area. Her one-bedroom apartment is in fine shape and plenty spacious with great lighting. The individual cooling/heating units are a huge improvement over the HVAC system of her previous care facility. The staff treats her wonderfully and with utmost respect. I have heard the medical technicians and caregivers interact with her in her room while I was listening on the phone and I have no concerns on the quality of care and compassion they administer. As her memory degrades they adjust to her comfort needs. I would like to specifically mention Erica Costello (Senior Lifestyle Consultant) who has been an invaluable resource to me in her very timely responses to my questions, even when they may not fall under her responsibility.

In my personal experience staff is kind and patient, The grounds are well manicured and the interior is modern. Erica the community liaison, has a vast knowledge and insight on senior living and care.

Our mom lived at Morada for a total of 4 years—in the Assisted Living section for 1.5 years and then in Memory Care and we highly recommend both! She had beautiful and spacious accommodations with lovely views in both areas. She made new friends quickly and participated in fun activities when in Assisted Living, and when she became confused and was no longer able to care for herself we made the decision to move her to the Memory Care floor. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about the memory care staff. They truly loved my mom and she adored them and considered them family. She was there during the Covid lockdown, but we had no worries because she was well cared for. The staff consistently communicated with family and even sent photos of my mom participating in memory care activities with her friends (fellow residents). Staff members and especially Kim, Gloria, Mirella, Enriquez, James and Deb were just incredible—they were professional, competent and caring and treated our mom with love and respect. Our mom passed there (under hospice care) and the support we received from the staff was outstanding. This place is amazing!

My grandmother lives here and absolutely loves it! If she's happy we are all happy. The food served to her is what she wants to eat and she enjoys her dining experience!

The entire staff at the Morada Sr Assisted Living facility have been absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning working with Erica Costello so professional and kind, to the Care Coordinators and business mgr Felicia. And to the BEST TEAM of caretakers Kai, Ana, and Tomas have been outstanding with the 24 hour care. Kudos to Dining-room staff always great service. Thank you to Everyone for caring for my brother Robert! God bless you all.

We were devastated when we learned that mom required Memory Care in September, 2023. It was a difficult adjustment for all of us. Sine then we have been extremely happy with the care mom is receiving. Kim, Mireya, Enriquez, Gloria and the rest of the staff do an excellent job caring for mom.

We recently toured this facility and found it to be very modern and up-to-date. The staff is amazing and always ready to help or answer a question. We decided to move our family member to this facility last week and could not be happier with the outcome. The most important thing is that he was dreading this move but after his first week there he simply loves it. I love getting his phone calls and hearing how happy he is and what a wonderful meal he had and what a great activity he just participated in.

My sister lives here and she absolutely loves it. She has a sweet studio apartment with her little cat and a beautiful view of the courtyard. The care here is also phenomenal. They are professional and seem to be very friendly with all of the residents. Thank you Morada for keeping my sister safe and happy.

Outstanding staff. We transferred our loved one from another memory care facility to Morada a few months ago. A world of difference!! The staff are top notch. All the caregivers in the memory care unit are amazing people. We have seen them treat all residents with the upmost love and compassion. Every person working there walks around with a big smile on their face. We have had close to 4 years experience with caring for a loved one in a memory care facility. Highly recommend this place.

I visited this place and I liked it. The staffs were accommodating and they really cared about their residents. A staff even played acoustic live music to their residents and everyone was singing. I would say that was a beautiful scene.

My family and I toured this location for placement of a family member. It obviously could use some modern upgrades throughout - if you truly want that total WOW factor. But aside from that, the moment you walk in the lobby you are mesmerized by the high ceilings and get a warm feeling about it. You’re immediately greeted with a smile. I love the amenities offered like the “Soda shop” area, the theater, etc… which I believe is in the area called Town Square. Nice comfortable community.

My mother has lived at Moranda for the last few years however recently in the memory unit after the weekend we have found wet unire soaked bedding and wet clothes shoved in her closet with her clean clothes. She had not been given a shower or had her hair washed on Saturday as required.

Our mother is 90 and has been at Atria since 2016. Her level of functioning in her home was very low, and it wasn't clear if she would make it in assisted living. Thanks to the excellent nutrition and luscious meals, some community involvement, and above all, the attentive and engaged staff, she is close to thriving. We wish she would take more advantage of the available activities, which are plentiful. In my estimation the employee engagement and bright smiles I see is thanks to good management and i would recommend Atria without hesitation.

My mother has lived in Atria Vista's Life Guidance community for 1.5 years. She is always doing interesting activities, likes the staff and other residents, and appreciates their willingness to go out of their way to meet any special needs. I heartily recommend Atria Vista del Rio!!

when my mom was in hospice and my dad had dementia they moved to Atria's memory care unit. Atria is not a medical facility so my mom couldn't stay there long, but my dad lived there for over a year. He has since moved to 2 other memory care facilities, which made me realize that the care at Atria was the best he could get. Clarissa, who was in charge of the memory wing, provided personal care for my 70 year old dad, keeping him active, attending to his needs, helping get him a dog (he was a lifetime dog owner and his dog in the facility was a great comfort to him)- but she also spent a lot of time helping our family adjust and learn about alzheimer's disease. The entire staff was very communicative and friendly as well. I also thought the food was pretty good (we had christmas and thanksgiving dinners there), the location was extremely convenient for us, and the grounds and rooms were expertly maintained by a crew who kept the residents safe.

Atria Vista del Rio has several outstanding employees. There are two, however, that really shine. The first employee is Lisa Tvedten, in the Activities Dept. I have never met someone so dedicated to her residents as she. She's kind, compassionate, and will do anything to help anyone who needs anything -- big or small. Lisa should be commended for being an exemplary staff member. The second employee is Maria (Mari) Elena Montoya, a receptionist at the front desk. Mari is great at what she does. She's wonderful with the residents, kind to the other staff, and excellent with visitors. Mari is extremely efficient as well. She wears many hats, and they fit her well. Please let her know how valuable she is as a member of your team. I'd like to make an honorable mention for Ashley (sorry, I don't know her last name), in the Food Service Dept. I know that she has two young sons. She is part of the wait staff. She is a great server. She knows the preferences of all her residents. Ashley will go the extra mile for those she serves. I know she works really hard, and it would be nice for her to be recognized for her efforts. Thanks to all who make my mom's life a little bit better.
