Jefferson's Garden has been my home away from home for 24 yrs., as of today. This a very comfortable community for seniors. With just 40 interior apartments, it allows more opportunities for bonds to be made with each resident. There are activities to engage in on a daily basis. The community has an opportunity each week to go on outings together to shop or explore the Edmond/Okc area. Whether it be movie night, crafting, games and puzzles, there is something for everyone. We have CNA's and Med Aides that are committed to meeting the needs of each resident with compassion and care. Our Resident Director is compassionate about this community and her job. She is perfect for this setting. The Director of Nursing is on top of everything a person needs to be well taken care of in an Assisted Living environment. I would highly recommend this community, if you are interested in finding a special place for your loved one. I have learned more from the residents here than I could in a lifetime elsewhere. My mom made the hard move from her home if 59 years to Jefferson's Gardens several months ago. The staff has made a point to get to know her and make her feel so comfortable and at home! She has made friends there and now thinks of it as home. She is well taken care of and enjoys the activities that are provided. Especially Bingo! After touring several places, I fell in love with Jefferson's Garden. It's such a small community and not too overwhelming like some of the larger places. My grandma absolutely did not want to leave her home, but she is so happy here. I'm seeing photos of her doing activities every day. The staff really set this place apart in my opinion. I wish we could've moved her here sooner!

This community and staff are fabulous!! They are active and involved with the residents. There's a feeling of community and fun that you don't always find in an assisted living facility. Tambi, healthcare director, is so caring and compassionate. She treats the residents as she would her own family. Her care extends beyond nursing, she helps the residents get involved in the community and makes social events fun for them. I recently attended a bingo night and was so impressed. The staff was involved, fun, attentive to the residents and made them feel special. Riley, Joel, Wayne and all of the staff I've encountered seem to truly care about making the residents and their families feel welcome and comfortable here. Great job!!

You will not find better care for you loved one than what is provided by the staff at Legend At Jefferson's Garden. There are facilities far more expensive that do not even come close to the care Legend provides. Riley, Kristi, and Whitney are the most extraordinarily efficient, kind and compassionate group of individuals. Our loved one had many complicated issues. They managed all the medications, physical assistance, and daily living needs. When we pushed the call button someone was there every time within 3 minutes. If you want a group that will walk with you every step of the way, you would do well to go to Legend.

The resident director Riley has always been very helpful and so kind. Whitney one of the nurses helped me when I was helping my friend find a place for his grandmother. After hearing positive comments from my dad's hospice nurses about Legend at Jefferson Garden's I decided to move him here. The staff at this facility have been amazing! Every staff member does their job efficiently and effectively. When my dad moved in the Director asked about his favorite snacks and activities. She made a welcome basket complete with an OU football schedule. The aides who dispense his medication are on top of his needs and check on him regularly throughout the day. The nurse is fabulous and easy to work with. My dad's favorite meal of the day is breakfast. He has truly enjoyed having biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, pancakes and all his favorites for breakfast. Even the staff who does the laundry and cleans the rooms go over and above. They are very kind to hang up my dads clothes since he has a difficult time walking. I have yet to see dust in his apartment. The social Director plans engaging and fun activities as well. This is the fourth retirement center my dad has been out in the past five years. For him, Legend is certainly the best!

Overall a very positive experience. Most of the staff were fantastic, kind, competent, and attentive. There were a few staff over the course of 3 years that weren't up to the same level, but they usually didn't last long. We had some issues with the food at times, but they improved. The medical director Tomee was especially great to work with. Special call outs to Doris, Topie, Mellisa, and Stacey also. The program director LJ was wonderful and so caring. I wish I could give a 4.5 rating.

Large enough to have “activities” and things to do and places to walk to ... but small enough to receive personal care and attention. Staff have caring hearts. And talk of their morning meeting to communicate about their residents needs..As a daughter of two residents I am pleased with their care and attention to their needs. They are true to their goals of doing the best they can . Unfortunately no one can image our loved ones and decline in health is inevitable... I have personal experience with their support and daily living advice for my parents.. good sound help in heart felt times. I do recommend them from my heart and hope you find the “right” place for your needs

Very nice and clean. Nice staff. Apartments are a little small, only single beds fit in the 1 bedroom apartments; but the set up is good. My mother just didn't feel the community was right for her.

My family member is here currently, things seem to be going okay. It’s a tough transition but the people there seem to be doing okay. There’ve been a couple of times I’ve had questions on showers and housekeeping and it doesn’t seem like they’re holding up their end of that but we’re working on it. I haven’t had the chance to try the food but I’ve been there a couple of times when they’ve brought it out. It doesn’t look like hospital food, it looks well balanced and nutritious. The building itself is smaller and there are less residents so I was hoping my loved one would get more one-on-one care because of it. Housekeeping is supposed to come by on Fridays but there’ve been a couple of times I’ve come in and inspected the room and it doesn’t look like they’ve ever been in there. They’re supposed to vacuum, mop, and help my loved one with laundry but you can tell looking at the bed sheets that they haven’t been washed. A few things my loved one came in with have gone missing and I’ve tried talking to them about it but they don’t know where those things are. I don’t know why these things are happening and I’m really hoping that they weren’t just trying to impress us when we took the tour.
