I recently had the opportunity to visit Ivy Terrace at Garden Grove as part of a university project focused on health promotion and aging. I couldn't have interviewed a better facility - from the moment I arrived, I was struck by how warm, welcoming, and genuine the environment felt. The facility is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed to promote independence and safety for residents. The front desk attendant was so kind and accommodating as well. The community spaces are cheerful and well-maintained, and there’s a wonderful sense of connection between staff and residents-lots of smiles, conversation, and laughter. I met with Sarah, the Marketing Director, who was AMAZING!! Sarah was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and took the time out of her day to sit and talk with me and personally show me around the campus. She shared how deeply she cares for each resident and how her team works to provide personalized, compassionate memory care, which was very evident in all of my interactions. I also had the pleasure of briefly meeting Kyle, the Director who radiated kindness and gratitude throughout my visit. He greeted me with such genuine warmth and took the time to share how much he loves working with the residents. It was clear he takes great pride in his work and truly values being part of their lives! What truly stood out during my visit were the amazing activities and events that keep residents active and engaged. During my visit, I saw residents enjoying bingo and movie time, while others were singing, dancing, and even putting on small concerts for each other. I had the honor of meeting Betsy, the Activities Director, who has such positive energy and genuine love for her residents. She plans everything from gardening and painting classes to baking sessions, live entertainment, and themed monthly events like luaus and holiday celebrations. Families are encouraged to attend many of these events, which really adds to the feeling of connection and community. The staff take great care to ensure that everyone (even those with limited mobility) has the chance to participate and feel included. When I met Betsy, she actually paused in the middle of giving a resident a haircut just to greet me with a warm smile. These small gestures said so much about the staff's compassion and how deeply they care for the people they serve. It’s clear the residents are engaged, active, and well-loved. Ivy Terrace genuinely feels like a home, not a facility- even to a visitor like me! Ivy Terrace at Garden Grove is a wonderful example of what quality memory care should look like: compassionate, safe, and full of life.

Crescent Landing has been such a blessing for my family. My loved one is well cared for, she is engaged daily and is very happy in this community! Every single employee, from the people who clean the rooms, the kitchen staff, the caretakers and office staff…. They are amazing! They truly care about each resident! I visit OFTEN and cannot say enough about how grateful I am for each and every person who works there!

I've been going to Crescent Landing Memory Care as a mobile provider for years now and I must say the care that our patient has been getting is exceptional. Staff and environment at the facility is very home-like, organized and personalized. They treat patients as if they are their own loved ones. Kudos to the whole staff and team! Special mention to Nurse Eve, who's always on top of things ensuring great care is provided timely and efficiently. Highly recommended!

I was looking for placement for a family member and I wasn’t to sure about what I was going to find. I walked into Crescent Landing at Fullerton Memory Care and the Executive Director and her team welcomed us with open arms. Although my loved one was not a fit for the facility the Director was able to share other options for my loved one. Thank you to the team for helping us with a difficult situation.

So much good to say about Crescent Landing at Fullerton. It’s few and far between you come across people that are truly passionate about what they do. Daniel Bauer - Director is that man. He understands how the process of finding the right place for a loved one with Dimentia/Alzheimer’s can be an extremely difficult and emotional journey for any family. He goes above and beyond. He helped navigate these uncharted territories for myself and my family and was with us every step of the way. The community itself is wonderful. Spacious, clean, lots of natural light and the gardens are beautiful. Great place to sit and talk when we go visit my father. His staff is amazing, everyone is so well versed in memory care and continue to be the epitome of proffesionalism and class. They put the safety and well being of the individuals residing at Crescent Landing above all else. It was refreshing to see how much goes in to keeping them safe and healthy during the time of Covid. I made visits to multiple care communities when looking for the right place for my father. Crescent Landings was far and away in a class all to itself. They were warm and found a way to make such a difficult process seem effortless. Daniel instantly became more than a director of a community, he became family in the process. Thank you to everyone at Crescent Landing of Fullerton. We are eternally grateful.

This community really stands out! It has a family like atmosphere that allows my grandfather to be cared for properly. Putting him in a home was a scary thought and I felt bad. But after seeing how involved he is with the staff and other people there, I see how happy he is.

Love that it is a smaller community and that it is single-floor- very safe in an emergency. The best part is that their snacks have improved and they are constantly working to redecorate and enhance this historical masterpiece- I love Fullerton gardens

I highly recommend Fullerton Gardens to families who have a loved one with memory impairment. Such a great feeling the minute you walk in. The gardens are beautiful with a wonderful area for residents to walk outside. The entire community feels homey and welcoming.

Just wonderful caring staff! They definitely earn these stars for all that they do! I had both parents at the home. Recently, my dad passed away but during his hospice they really made every attempt to make their last days as a couple special. They were very attentive to their needs. My parents were married for 86 years and were very close.

I've had the pleasure to work for this community, and visited often after I transferred to they're sister community. The staff is beyond amazing & well trained who can handle anything the day may bring with all the residents. The front office team is just as amazing in ensuring families feel comfortable & that they're loved ones are in the best of the best. It was an absolute pleasure to have been part of they're Activity & Care Staff Department.
