She made what can often be a stressful transition feel straightforward and reassuring. The care team is outstanding. Antonieta Caicedo, Executive Director, leads with professionalism, warmth, and a clear commitment to both residents and families. Brunel Gue, Memory Care Manager (LPN), brings both expertise and genuine compassion to memory care, ensuring residents receive attentive and dignified support. Nurses Stefenie and Jackie consistently demonstrate kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism, treating residents with the respect and care they deserve. Beyond the staff, the facility itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed, creating a safe and comforting environment. The activity schedule is especially impressive, rich, engaging, and well-planned, giving residents meaningful opportunities for social interaction, stimulation, and enjoyment every day. After visiting nearly a dozen facilities, Grand Villa was our top choice in Palm Beach County for memory care, and that decision was made easy by the outstanding staff, excellent communication, and the genuine sense of care that is evident throughout the entire community. They are absolutely worth a visit if you are looking for wonderful care of a loved one.

My 98yo mother was recently transferred from a health care facility in Florida to Grand Villa East in Delray Beach. No surprise the move was an anxiety nightmare for my mom, but (every) staff member, involved with my mom was compassionate and helpful. The staff made her feel special. For me, the process (other than the move) was made more straightforward with the guidance of their 2 excellent sales reps (names intentionally omitted). GVE is a clean facility, provides social activities, in addition to exercise programs, parties, and lectures. Grand villa of Delray east is a beautiful facility with top notch care. I have worked with this building for over 5 years and can't say enough positive things. From the leadership down, this place understands how to make residents and their families feel at home. The staff is knowledgeable and fully engulfed in the care of each individual. I never have an issue getting responses to any inquiries I may have or my patient's families have. I am at the building 5 Days a week and truly enjoy going each time. The residents are always happy and willing to engage in great conversation. There are constant activities from bingo to cards to live music. You can see the word community come alive when you walk into 14555 sims road. Grand villa of Delray east is a great place for mom and dad as well as a great place to work. I have had our mother at Grand Villa for 4 1/2 years. Our move in took place during Covid, a challenging time for this industry.The staff there handled the situation with such professionalism and care, always having the residents well being prioritized. During the last 4 1/2 years my mother had been exceptionally cared for in the memory care wing. The staff has been there for a long time consistently ensuring the best care for their residents. The decision to place a loved one in assisted living is never easy and navigating the process can be daunting. As a caregiver, I find Grand Villa of Delray Beach to be a very nice community. Staff goes above and beyond to provide great care of my mother and are always there to respond to any needs or problems she may have. I don't worry about her. The facility is clean, well maintained, and operates in a very organized manner. The food is quite good. Antoinette, Gretchen, May, Alta, Julio and all the staff, nurses and aides are professional, kind, responsive, and understanding. It took my mom a couple of weeks to get used to her new environment and settle in and staff and residents were welcoming and encouraging. She now loves her apartment, has made new friends, and is enjoying the senior living life. Thank you Grand Villa of Delray Beach East for providing a safe and supportive environment for my mom.

Hello, my Mom has been at Grand Villa memory care assistant living for just over 5 weeks. From the start, everything and everyone has exceeded our expectations. We started with Gretchen and May before Mom moved in. They helped us completely with the transition to make it as easy as possible. They were there to answer any questions and considerations we had along the way. They eased our minds and made us feel so comfortable. Grand Villa is a beautiful place. Upon entering, it mimics an upscale hotel. It is so clean and beautifully decorated. From the people at the front desk to the people doing laundry, everyone is always smiling and friendly. The food is fabulous! Gourmet menus. 3 meals a day plus snacks. The memory care section that my Mom is in has done wonders for her. She is doing so well and has made many new friends. Her little apartment is so cute, clean and updated. I can't say enough great things about the lead nurse Burnel. He is so compassionate towards my Mom. He treats her like it is his own Mom. Everyone that works around Burnel are amazing as well. They are so attentive to all the people's needs and they do it all with a smile. They have several areas were my Mom can go by herself. A few different rooms with a lot of activities as well as music and tv. They even have live music on Sundays and live exercise with an instructor 3 days a week. A lot of different activities all day to keep everyone engaged and busy. They even have a cute bunny named Tootsie, live birds and a live rooster that lives outside. There is also a beautiful outdoor area with benches and fountains. If you are looking for Independent, Assisted or Assisted living memory care look no further. Grand Villa Delray Beach East has exceeded 5 stars for my Mom and my family. Thank you so much everyone at Grand Villa! –

Our lives have been on a roller coaster with my mom's health. Antoinette, the Director of the facility, has been nothing short of caring, loving, understanding and empathetic to my brother and I throughout the hardest times. She always works everything out for us the best that she can. I could not ask for a better community for my mom. The nurses and other staff have been supportive to my mother to ensure she is well taken care of. My mom made amazing friendships and has enjoyed all the activities, outings, and food. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided to me once a week. The food is good with plenty of choices. There are activities during the day and early evening. I have been living at Grand Villa of Delray Beach-East since July of 2023. Moving here from cold, snowy, and icy Wsconsin was a no brainer especially after falling twice and my stepson, Ron, telling me I shouldn't be living alone anymore. After he and Katy did the leg work looking at facilities, sending me the information on about four different ones, and getting me to decide which one I would be interest in - I decided on Grand Villa. Maya and May from their leasing office were tremendously helpful in answering my questions and sending me additional info plus the lease documents. When I arrived, I was greeted by Antoinetta and introduced to her staff and then taken to my apartment which I love . I would like to say I enjoy living here, many activities are available daily (I have learned to play "Rummicub", love it), the food is very good with the chef trying different recipes for more variety, and the entire staff here go above and beyond to see that we are well taken care of, eating well, have clean laundry and housekeeping services, activities with family, and so much more. I have made many new friends too.

As far as the staff is concerned, I'd give them 5 stars. They are kind, caring and always there to assist . The staff is pleasant to talk to and respectful to the residents . It's nice to know that my cousin is being taken care of . You have chosen the best employees. It is important that elderly be cared for in the correct manor, as we all will be there some day. As for the look of the facility, I feel that upgrades should be made. The facility needs to be modernized . Carpets are old , the small studio should be for one person as there's carpet where one person's bed is placed. Another bed is put in the room as there is no privacy and the 2nd resident's bed is on the cold floor right next to the kitchen area . I have spoken to a worker and it was stated that two people in that room is not right.

My mother will be going into the Grand Villa of Delray East later this month. My sister and I have been looking for months for the right place that would suit her needs. From the beginning we have been working with Jennifer Roche who is the Leasing Coordinator at the assisted living facility. She was fantastic in helping us to navigate through every step of the process. She is very personable and caring. The place itself is the right size for my mother, not too large and not too small. It is also a very well maintained and clean facility. We sat down in the dining room to test out their lunch menu. Although the menu isn't very large the food was very good. We tried the omelet and hamburger (which was very tasty and grilled). While in the dining room we noticed how many of the residents were conversing with each other and being very social. We had a long conversation with the resident Bob who spoke very well of the facility and was pleased to be there. He was telling us how nice the other residents and staff were. We are looking forward to my mother starting a new chapter of her life at the Grand Villa of Delray East

Sadly, due to her declining health, we had to move her to a skilled nursing facility and she is unable to return to Grand Villa. I cannot say enough good things about this location, the Executive Director and the Memory Care staff. If you are looking for a memory care-assisted living facility, I highly recommend you check out this location. It really does have a home-like feel and I was so appreciative of the precautions that they took due to COVID-19, while still allowing us to visit her. That meant more to us than they will ever know. Side note: Prior to moving in here, my mom really struggled with eating. For every meal I was present for, my mom ate everything on her plate. That was huge! She would not do that at home for us! 😉

When my mom was ill and in the hospital about two years ago, we needed to put my dad into a facility where he could get round the clock care because we didnt have anyone else to take care of him at home. He lived at Grand Villa for a month (could have been more, that whole time was a blur, honestly) and even though he was not as alert and independent as the vast majority of other residents there, he was so well taken care of, and contented there, that we couldnt have asked for a better facility at the time. It was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and they always had it decorated nicely for holidays etc. He loved playing bingo or watching tv in his lovely room. Even the entertainer who came in and sang to the residents was great. My dad loved it. Both my mom and dad are gone now and my wife and I are very grateful for the care my dad got at Grand Villa for the brief time he was there. I would definitely recommend it.

I had a great experience visiting Grand Villa Delray East! I recently toured the community and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who was willing to help direct me. During the tour employees and leadership smiled and several introduced themselves. The residents were also smiling and greeting me as we walked through the activity-cafe room stocked with snacks like popcorn and cookies. On our way to the memory care wing, we passed the cutest store front where residents can buy gifts and select items. The memory care wing activity room had an organized and monitored political discussion happening among the residents. Once the discussion was over everyone stood up and sang the national anthem- it was very moving! Outside the memory care doors is a secure backyard that felt like a park with a smooth pathway to walk, fountain, garden, and covered area. Lastly, I was amazed how they are aware of each residents well being making sure they get their medicine, bath, and checked on. They do this through a command chain with someone specifically dedicated to overseeing that residents are taken care of and if someone is missed they are alerted and the alerts go up through the chain until it is taken care of- this resident care system provides peace of mind for everyone!

I want to commend Martin Katz for the great job he is doing in combating the Corona Virus he has been very proactive and maintains good communication. He has called me many times to keep me updated on what is being done to prevent the virus from spreading. He has continuously tested the staff as well as the residents to decrease the chance of spreading. I am so impressed by Mr Katz the manager at Gran Villa East. He has been so proactive about managing care during the Covid-19 Pandemic! I am sure he has saved lives due to his impressive actions. I have an Aunt that has been having a difficult time with isolation. However, due to the staff and management they have kept the participants as informed and safe as they could possibly have ,considering the situation. I am so grateful!

Grand Villa of Delray Beach East - Question: Since PACE participants cannot get services at the Delray PACE center during COVID-19 what are the nurses at Grand Villa East doing to give medical care to those on PACE? PACE services are limited to nurse visits and emergency hospitalization. What about maintain care like eye exams, mental health services, etc. PACE has stopped offering those services since the PACE center closed about a month ago. How can you help? My mother needs mental health therapy. thank you

I wanted to take a moment to share about our experience at Grand Villa. We had placed my 99 year old grandmother here, who at the time was able to live independently but needed a little more supervision. Unfortunately, she had a fall right at the start of the Covid crisis and had to spend some time in a nursing facility and never really got back to her independent self. When we had initially decided on Grand Villa, it was after we had met with Gretchen, who was wonderful in answering all of our questions before and after my grandmother moved in. We had some billing issues once we got my grandmother on a special program. Malissa in the billing office went above and beyond to make sure we had everything straight and is still providing my family with billing support since my grandmother moved out mid month. Marty, the director, has been very attentive and helped us organize my grandmothers transfer to a new facility. We are sad we had to part ways with Grand Villa. I would like to assure anyone who has a loved one, who can live independently but needs a little bit of supervision, that this is a wonderful place that my grandmother was very fond of while she was there.

I had the pleasure to tour this facility today. From their receptionist to their Regional Executive Director everyone was cooperative with my questions and took pride in their roles. Especially sharing their knowledge and showing their facility. I could witness all amenities and care available to their residents. All organized and structured in best possible way. Memory Care was delightful with activities and beautiful outdoor setting for residents to feel at home. Their security measures were outstanding as well. Overall this facility has many things to offer to anyone. All residents looked happy and nicely attended.

My parents moved to GV East in November of 2017. They were very happy, met many new people and were socially active in the varied daily events. When my Dad passed, the entire staff aides was sensitive and compassionate towards my Mother and our family. Since then, Mom continues to thrive. My mother had to move out today due to an serious illness and was not able to return to Grand Villa East. It is a sad day because 1st and foremost this was my mothers home. We were blessed to have her at Grand Villa East, the Executive Director was the main reason we stayed with Grand Villa. She was always available to speak to us when we came into the country. Living in Israel was difficult for us to be there as much as we wanted to and the Executive Director always thought outside of the box to assist us in communication and care for my mother. Today was an emotional day for us, leaving Grand Villa, turning off her light for the last time and dealing with the end of life for a loved one. Grand villa of Delray east is a beautiful facility with top notch care. I have worked with this building for over 5 years and can’t say enough positive things. From the leadership down, this place understands how to make residents and their families feel at home. The staff is knowledgeable and fully engulfed in the care of each individual. I never have an issue getting responses to any inquiries I may have or my patient’s families have. I am at the building 5 Days a week and truly enjoy going each time. The residents are always happy and willing to engage in great conversation. There are constant activities from bingo to cards to live music. You can see the word community come alive when you walk into 14555 sims road. Grand villa of Delray east is a great place for mom and dad as well as a great place to work. 5 star staff!!! From nurses all the way to the custodians. I have seen the staff in some challenging situations. (Especially in Memory Care). God Bless the nurses they care for the patients with a smile on their face. They talk with them and treat them like they are their own grandparent. It takes a special person to work in such a heart wrenching environment while still wearing a smile. The facility is exceptionally clean and doesn’t smell at all. I want to thank all of the staff and administrators for doing such a great job preparing for Hurricane Matthew. My mom said there was a meeting to share information and allow residents to ask questions and calls were made to family members to communicate the same. Additional staff stayed in the building overnight to handle emergencies if they should arise, lanterns and water were provided and a request my mom made to the administrator was handled immediately. Grand Villa's response to this emergency was exceptional, providing not only a plan but a feeling of confidence and safety for residents and family members.
