I've been there to visit my friend
January 2026
I’d like to share my sincere appreciation for The Point at Kilpatrick ” from the head administrator, Samantha, all the way through every staff member. My father was a resident there, and from day one, we were impressed by the level of care and professionalism across every department. This place is truly a hidden gem. The CNA staff is truly second to none. They consistently showed compassion, respect, and genuine kindness, and they made my dad feel like a friend to everyone while encouraging as much independence as he could comfortably manage. All departments were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and caring, which brought our family great comfort during a difficult time. During hospice, my father was able to remain in the apartment he loved, allowing our family to be with him ” something we will be forever grateful for. I truly cannot say enough about everyone who touched not only my dad’s life, but ours as well. I only wish my dad had been able to spend more time at this beautiful facility. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff at The Point at Kilpatrick for the exceptional care, compassion, and dignity they provided to both my father and our family. With deepest gratitude, Kelly Castrogiovanni

This place is an absolute gem in our neighborhood. This is the perfect place to go if you want to watch a sporting event. Or 2, as they have dozens of screens everywhere, it is an intimate location. The staff is friendly. The food is good and there are absolutely phenomenal specials. Every day of the week, I believe that Tuesday night is free. Bingo night and? They also have a nice variety of slot machines. The food was great. There's a nice variety of drinks and I hope this fit business does very well there. I would highly recommend to family and friends and I will be returning soon..

Today was my brother-in-law 's first day at the Pointe. I am beyond comfortable with this facility. Everyone has been so helpful and inviting. It is very clean and feels like home. There are many activities to keep the residents busy. Angie was absolutely amazing throughout the admission process. The nurses and CNA's are kind and always have a smile. Randy puts his whole heart into making sure the residents have fun. I cannot say enough about this facility. NO, WAIT, it is not a facility, it is a HOME, where they make the residents and their families feel comfortable, happy, and like one big family!!!!!

What a wonderful place! The facility is clean, the staff are attentive, professional and patient with the residents. There's a variety of activities throughout the day. The food is served to each resident in the dining area or in their apartment. The food is delicious, I have eaten with my mother several times. There's music of the past playing each day to lift the spirits of residents. family and staff. There are nursing staff that provides my mother with medication as needed. Her apartment is always clean, and her laundry always done. I am greeted with a warm smile as I enter the building and I am informed of the location of my mother. My mother is doing so much better in this environment. I am so pleased for The Pointe. This facility is a treasure for which I am thankful.

Let me start by saying that The Pointe at Kilpatrick is a Godsend. From the staff to the facility appearance and cleanliness it’s definitely help put my brother and my mind at ease. When we were told that my father would need 24/7 care last year, I did everything in my power to prevent my father from going into a nursing facility because of the stories I’ve heard. Last November was when my brother and I had to start the rushed process of finding a facility for my father, because the VA couldn’t help him anymore medically. We put our father in a facility in Evanston that we honestly didn’t visit and we went based off of the reviews. When we arrived to the facility and took him to his room I bursted into tears because I felt as if I had failed him. We hadn’t toured the other location. Let’s just say I’m big on cleanliness, and I knew he wouldn’t be in the last facility long because of the long commute and the poor upkeep. Fast forward to the earlier part of this year I begin my search to find another facility for my father. You know the saying third times a charm, well this is what The Pointe was for us. When I called to inquire, I was helped by Angie. Let’s just say, her let’s get this ball rolling energy was all I needed. Everything just fell into place. When my father came to do the tour he loved it, which helped out a lot. We moved him in not long after we got our tour. We were going to move in at the beginning of March, but got the ok to move my father in the second week of February. Again I can’t express how helpful the staff were and still are. My mom and I were able to come the day before to set everything up before my brother got there and as we were heading to the apartment we were helped by Willie who is absolutely awesome as well. He insisted on helping as much as he could while having slight back pain which had a knee prior I would have waited for my brother to get there. He helped along with bed placement and the TV mount. It’s amazing how pleasant everyone is. So far my dad has only been there almost a week and absolutely adores the place which puts myself and my brother at ease. So please if you are considering placement for your love ones I think it’s safe to say they will be fine at the Pointe.

Many thanks to The Pointe at Kirkpatrick for the wonderful way the staff is taking care of my loved one. Starting with the Directors, Nurses, Aides, the Chef & Food Staff, to the Maintenance people == the care is beyond reproach. And let's not forget to mention the activities. Always something fun and unique for her to do. I would also like to applaud The Pointe for their Covid protocols putting the residents first. So glad we chose The Pointe.
