My journey started at a very unlikely place, Brookside Dental in the waiting room. A guy by the name Andrew from Premier Placement Service. To make a long story short he was a god sent. This encounter led me to Rittenhouse Village which was the best decision we made as a family.Once I saw the inside of the place and met the phenomenal staff with so much compassion I was sold.. I knew this was the special place my dad could live out the end of his life happy and at peace. Truly his home away from home. Sincerely, Lori Parton & family.

As someone who is out in the field for Healthcare, this is one of my favorite places to visit. They are one of the few assisted living facilities in the area to maintain consistent staff. When you come in, you can feel the warmth. There is always something going on for residents to enjoy and they seem really happy. Doug and his staff are very welcoming and caring.

My father needed a short term place to land in between a medical emergency and us moving him to a new condo. All of this happened the week of Christmas so I was panicking finding a place last minute during that busy week (I was also 9 months pregnant and living in California!). Rittenhouse quickly came to my rescue and handled everything I couldn’t from afar. Special thank you to Doug, who worked with me and helped me navigate everything thru the chaos of different time zones. He was always ready to take my call or text and made everything go so smoothly. My dad had a great short stay there, he grew to really enjoy the staff, loved doing his PT there, and particularly enjoyed the barber shop. You can tell the staff really cares about the residents which put me at ease during the stressful transition.

Our mom lived at Rittenhouse Village for almost 2 years. We had a very positive experience. Any concerns were addressed quickly and with compassion. Mangement was accessible and cares about families. We loved the family events hosted there - a great stress free way to get together! Rooms are nice and well maintained. Our family toured many places and this was the clear winner. Moving to an assisted living is not an easy choice, but we felt like Rittenhouse Village did a nice job of making things enjoyable.

My mother has been a resident here since february. We have found rittenhouse and its staff to be warm, patient, welcoming and caring. The mgmt and staff there have been attentive and responsive as well. I live a great distance away, and i am comforted by the open communication and accountability of the people there.

Things are not always as they appear. Horrible experience. Lack of good mgmt. Poor communication & care. Understaffed. Don't be fooled by the smoke & mirrors. If you care for your family member do not put them here. Only 5 days & my mom had to be hospitalized with horrible infections and broken strenum. Didn't notify family for 1.5 hrs until after the incident. UNACCEPTABLE!

My 100 ur old mother was at Rittenhouse Village in the memory care facility. She received the BEST care there from the kindest, caring and professional young ladies we all grew to love! I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was there for my mother and working With Doug to get her into Rittenhouse was a great experience. Their leadership team is engaged and always keeping their resident’s safety and quality of life in mind. Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley really focuses on treating every resident like a member of their family. The building is beautiful, and all of the staff members are extremely kind and caring. Residents have plenty of opportunities for socializing and engaging in meaningful activities throughout the day. And, of course, the food is delicious (the fresh made cookies are my favorite)!

My mother Dolores resided at Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley for the past five years. We saw many changes over those years, but what remained constant was the caring nature of the staff. Of particular note, we want to recognize the work of Molly, who was the second floor medical technician during the entire five years. Molly provided constant caring and reliable support that helped Dolores feel comfortable and secure. Dolores often referred to Molly as the angel who looked after her. Also of note was the support of Becky, the activities coordinator, who also worked with Dolores for the entire five years. Becky and her staff kept Dolores active and moving, with in-house activities and outside trips to the Dollar Store and local restaurants. And Dolores always looked forward to those Nails and Cocktails events. The compassionate care and daily support the staff provided to Dolores was very much appreciated by her and all of her family.

What ever you do, do not send you parent here. If you are not there to monitor the situation they will neglect you parents needs. My Mother ended up in the hospital for a fall, but they kept her because she was malnourished, dehydrated with ulcerated sores on her toes. She had lost so much weight, she looked like a skeleton. Thank goodness she fell otherwise she would be dead now.

I have been going to Rittenhouse Village for a few years now to entertain and do Chair Zumba classes with the residents. It has always been a pleasure to walk into a clean, well maintained facility and find residents that are happy and well adjusted. The staff is always attentive and very caring with the residents. I am especially impressed with the care given to the memory care residents. They are always in good spirits, active and well cared for by the staff. If you are considering Rittenhouse Village for your loved one, I can highly recommend them without reservation.

It’s a VERY tough and emotional decision to make when you realize that your parents are no longer safe in their house. Rittenhouse Village was the second place we toured and my mom fell in love immediately!! It is beautiful and the staff is wonderful... very caring and attentive. My mom is very social and my dad was not so much .... the transition was easier than expected thanks to the entire Rittenhouse staff . My dad has passed a few months ago and my mom couldn’t have made it through without the help and support from the Rittenhouse family. We all are forever grateful that my mom is happy and supported. I highly recommend Rittenhouse Village . They really do care about their community and it shows.
