We moved my Aunt in at the beginning of April to the Memory Care side of Bethesda Gardens. Our family is so grateful for the lovely staff members that have made her feel so welcomed in her new home! They have been so kind to her and gentle. She raves about the food they have, the kitchen staff do a really good job! During a fairly stressful time for us, Mia in the admissions office did so much to help us through the process and get us all set up and moved in. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. Thank you for making this transition a beautiful one!

Making the decision to move our 88-year-old mother into assisted living was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. We wanted to make absolutely sure we found a place where she would not only be cared for, but truly cared about. So we spent weeks researching, reading reviews, and visiting communities. These were the people who would be looking after our mom, nothing about that felt small or routine to us. We narrowed our search down to three locations. We toured the first two, and while both were nice and the staff were polite and professional, something just didn’t quite click. We even debated whether we needed to visit the third place on our list. Looking back, we are so incredibly grateful that we did. The moment we pulled into the parking lot at Bethesda Gardens Thornton Assisted Living and Memory Care, something felt different. It’s tucked into a beautiful neighborhood with a park right next door, peaceful, welcoming, and warm. Before we even walked inside, we had a good feeling. When we stepped through the doors, we were honestly blown away. The building is beautiful, and the outdoor atrium area is just stunning. I remember joking that I was jealous of their barbecue setup, it was nicer than the one at my own house! But beyond the aesthetics, the place felt alive and cared for. The staff welcomed us warmly and gave us a full tour. The dining hall was spacious and spotless, with tables thoughtfully arranged so residents don’t feel crowded. It felt comfortable and dignified. Then we saw the apartment our mom would be living in, recently renovated, bright, and far more spacious than we expected. It truly exceeded what we had hoped for. Every single question we had was answered patiently and honestly. We never felt rushed or brushed aside. As we walked back to the office, my family and I looked at each other and just knew...this was it. This was where Mom would live. She’s now been there for over a year and a half, and we could not be happier with our decision. The building is consistently clean, her apartment is always well cared for, and she’s eating well. Most importantly, she’s happy. And as her children, there is no greater comfort than knowing she is safe, respected, and surrounded by people who genuinely care. If you’re facing the difficult decision of finding assisted living for a loved one, I wholeheartedly encourage you to put Bethesda Gardens Thornton at the top of your list. For our family, it has been a true blessing. And on a personal note...Mia is absolutely incredible. She goes above and beyond for both the residents and the staff. Her compassion and leadership make a real difference every single day, and we are so thankful for her.

I've been to a lot of assisted living and memory care facilities but this one is so inviting. Its beautiful on the inside both with the people that work here and the environment they keep. The staff care immensely about the care they provide for their patients, and the maintenance is upkept thoroughly. Management is very professional, and helpful, and they, as well as the care staff, are always willing to assist you or answer any questions you may have. The activities department works hard to ensure their residents have something engaging and exciting to look forward to everyday/week. Consistency is huge here, from the front desk to the back offices, everyone is actually on the same page.

Bethesda Gardens is the place to be for your loved ones! I had my Grandma living there and the staff was so amazing to her! The facility was very clean and Mia Marquez was such a wonderful tour guide, she was extremely nice and welcoming! My Grandma passed away from cancer and the whole time they loved on her like she was there own. When we would show up to visit, they would be in there playing games with her or doing her nails. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Kind staff and like most places small rooms. Has more to offer for every day activities. Love that. The staff does take outings and trips which is really good. Take a tour to find out about everything. Some places you can't have a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. Check what you need at every place you visit. This is a beautiful place with gardens. I am a resident. The food is incredible, they always give me what I want. The staff are very nice. My room is always cleaned by housekeeping. I love it here and couldn't ask for a better place to be.

My mother has been a resident here for just over 3 yrs and both her and I have been happy with the over all care. For the most part I am extremely satisfied with the staffs level of professionalism and kindness. The food they serve has been both nutritious and well prepared. My mom’s apartment is spacious and kept clean. Her medications are monitored and dispensed correctly and on time. The laundry lady is awesome and keeps her clothing clean and put away. I have confidence in my mom’s safety and security while I am at work. As with most assisted care facilities they do have high turnover with basic service staff, however the main leadership and management remain stable and strong, I recommend this facility to any family in Thornton or north Denver area looking for a safe and well managed assisted home for their loved one.

Paul is a 96 year old friend of mine that recently moved into Bethesda Gardens. His relatives live out of state and visit as often as possible. I'm a trusted source for overseeing his affairs on behalf of the family. I was impressed with every aspect of this facility. The staff is genuine, professional, and extremely helpful. Beyond that, the residents all seem to enjoy the facility. The building is modern, and in excellent condition. The dining room is inviting and serves amazing meals. The activities are abundant. Paul has settled in seamlessly and genuinely likes his new residence. This is a positive move, and I highly recommend it.

Definitely should be zero stars. Understaffed across the board, especially in memory care. You'd think for the amount spent care would be great but not the case. Rooms are very rarely cleaned and left in disarray. They don't always wake your loved ones up and get them ready for meals and seem to have a hard time getting memory care patients into their pj's for bed. What a joke. Take your money and loved ones elsewhere while you can! This place should only be a last resort when funds are exhausted.

I'm so glad my son found Bethesda Gardens for my assisted living stay. I've been here three and a half years and can't imagine living anywhere else. The staff from the executive director to the hosts in the dining room are friendly and caring. With the recent update to our facility, you will find it bright, clean and welcoming. Activities are so many you can't do them all which includes usually four outings a month, musical groups and educational presentations. We have a Bistro that sells personal items, drinks and other goodies for the residents and staff. Come visit and stay.

I currently reside here at Bethesda Gardens Thornton. I love the staff and residents. I am very happy with the care I receive here. The care staff is very good. I feel safe here and am very comfortable. There is also a lot of activities available daily, so we are always busy, entertained and never bored. This is the best place. I have made lots of new friendships and would highly recommend this facility.

The memory care opened almost a year ago and has been a constant mess with huge staff turnover and poor coverage. It’s very difficult to get in the locked unit, there’s usually not a staff member at the desk, they can’t keep a receptionist more than a couple months, plus they pull them to help at meals. As a family we’ve waited any where from 15-30 plus minutes just to get someone to let us in. The executive director is rude, hostile and defensive, she refuses to take any responsibility for all the problems there. Her favorite thing to say is No one else has complained about this, yet I talk to family all the time with the same complaints. I waited 30 minutes for a care conference last week and she never showed up. When I found her she stated she got busy, no apology, no attempt to reschedule our meeting, etc. They haven’t had a nurse in months and I’ve seen the LPN from the ALF side 1 time at a meeting, that’s it. The last time I pushed the call light to get my loved one help it took about 30 minutes to get answered. The staff never takes initiative to help residents. I routinely have to ask them to do her laundry, changed soiled linens, clean messes in the bathroom, etc. I’ve had to have them re-clean the bathroom multiple times because they do a lazy job. The activities are lame, it’s great if your relative wants to color or do a really simple craft but a lot of residents don’t, especially the men. There’s absolutely nothing to do in the enclosed courtyard, I’ve asked for music and simple activities several times since last summer with no carryover. I moved my loved out, I would never recommend this place. It looks really nice at first glance because it’s new but it’s been an awful living environment.

In Sep 2024 we placed my husband in a Memory Care facility in Westminster because there were no rooms available at Bethesada Gardens. In October 2024 I moved into Bethesada Gardens. I moved in with the attitude that this was going to be my new home and I was going to make new friends here. Even with this attitude, I have been amazed at the loving care I have received here. The staff have all been wonderful...the caregivers live up to their titles as the care they give is given with much love and compassion. Our Activity Director, Danielle, and her assistant, Victoria, have been great about listening to the desires of residents and providing a great variety of activities which has helped tremendously in getting acquainted with the residents and making friends here. After only 6 months of living here, I can truthly say I am proud to call this my home.

Working with Park Regency Thornton has been a blessing. For the past several months I have spoken with, emailed, visited and text several different facilities looking for a place for my parents. Too many organizations are just chasing the dollar and do not care about the individual behind those funds. Park Regency Thornton is completely different. From my first phone call with Michelle I felt appreciated and that she really cares about my parents and what is best for them. We have spoken with many staff members at all levels. They have all been very welcoming and warm-hearted. The residents have also been very friendly and appear to be pleased where they are living (it says a lot about a facility when the residents are happy). We will be moving my parents into the facility in the next few days. They are excited about the move and are looking forward to what Park Regency Thornton has to offer. I would recommend Park Regency Thornton to anyone who is looking for a great place for their elderly loved ones.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
