I recently had the pleasure of spending time at Claremont Place Senior Living, and what truly stands out is the strength of the team and the culture they’ve created for residents and families. Shaleen, the Memory Care Director, brings both expertise and heart to her role. She creates a safe, engaging, and dignified environment for residents, and her passion for memory care is evident in every interaction. Thwe, the Director of Wellness, ensures clinical excellence while maintaining compassion at the center of care. Her attention to detail and commitment to resident well-being is clear and consistent. Edna, the Resident Care Coordinator, is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly day-to-day. Organized, attentive, and caring, she plays a critical role in both resident care and team coordination. Quinisha, a Memory Care Med Tech, deserves special recognition as well. Her patience, kindness, and dedication to residents do not go unnoticed, she represents the heart of hands-on care. As someone who works closely with senior living communities, I can confidently say this is a team that is aligned, engaged, and truly committed to delivering high-quality care and meaningful experiences. Claremont Place is in great hands with this group.

Went to visit a friend at Claremont Place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They seemed genuinely happy and addressed all the residents by name. The automated visitor checking was very easy. The interior was bright and clean and had a fresh airy smell. There were plenty of areas for the residents to gather and socialize the furniture looked quite new. Overall the atmosphere was very appealing.

I came to visit my grandma for the first time since she’s moved in here. It’s always a little anxiety-inducing when finding a place & ensuring the ones you love are in good hands. I was so pleased when I came, from check-ins, to meeting some of the staff who come to help her, to seeing all the acitivities & socials they have set up for the residences- all of it put my mind a little more at ease. My grandma was also hesitant to move in at first, but wow what a change I’ve seen in her since being here. She is enjoying her time & seemed in much better spirits. Thank you to the staff for making this transition as easy as possible & being so so so kind to everyone.

Edited to add that their recent remodel is stunning!! The common spaces have all been updated and not only look beautiful but are very comfortable! Today we annoyed the Ice Cream Social with my mom and had a delightful time! We could not be happier with our Claremont Place experience! We looked at all of the local assisted living communities for our mom and chose Claremont Place. Every staff member we've encountered has been caring, engaging , and really seem to like their jobs. The administrative staff is also top notch. Our mom really enjoys all of the activities, especially the crafting! Not to mention the beautiful events we've attended! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Claremont Place!

My parents had a terrifying experience at the Claremont Place! On June 1, 2025 my 93 year old mother and 95 year old father, who has Dementia and Parkinson’s, were moved into the Claremont Place at the insistence of their fiduciary. The facility did not insist they have a tour first to see their assigned rooms. A couple at their advanced ages were placed in a room next to the laundry, across from a noisy dining area and constant foot traffic. In the middle of the night on June 21, 2025, Two large caretakers, [name removed] and [name removed] (sp), came into the room waking both parents. One of them threatened my mother, saying she had heard that my mom had complained about her and was going to “teach her a lesson.” They also pushed my mom’s walker against the wall where she couldn’t reach it. My mom called me Sunday morning, June 22, 2025, crying hysterically and hyperventilating. After calming her down, she explained what happened, assuring me that she had never complained about anyone at the Claremont Place. Eventually, mom called the paramedics because she was terrified and having a panic attack. The police were called and a report was filed. Of course, the two caretakers completely denied my mom’s claims. My mother was never able to sleep or relax after that, scared to death the two women would come back. My parents had friends move them back into their home which they had been planning to sell. It cost my folks approximately $30,000 to move into the Claremont Place including an $8,000 “deposit.” My mom is now looking into a reverse mortgage because of the loss of her money which she will never get back. If you are thinking of moving a loved one into their home which Claremont Place please give it a lot of consideration first. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be frightened and treated as poorly as my mother and father were. Sincerely, Nancy Helmling (daughter)

My father and a client of mine were residents at Claremont Place. I found that the staff and Administrators to be loving, compassionate, & understanding towards my father and my client. In particular, with my client, the staff went above and beyond to make accommodations for her needs. I refereed my client to Claremont Place because they treated my father so well. When I would visit, I could fee the genuine love they had for her and for my dad. They treated them like family. Claremont Place is a warm and caring place. When my mother recently fell and broke her hip at 91 years of age, I had to figure out how to meet her care needs from the other side of the country (she lives on one coast and I live on the other). A Place for Mom referred me to Claremont Place. From the first moment I connected with the Tricia from Claremont Place, I immediately felt like a guardian angel had been dropped into my life. I picked Claremont Place sight unseen based on how caring and supportive Tricia was in my time of crisis. She held my hand through the entire experience. I knew I was taking a chance picking an assisted living facility this way, but I had no other choice. Once I arrived in California, my experience with Claremont Place continued to be wonderful. Every staff member we have had the pleasure to work with has been equally supportive to me and to my mother. The care is unbelievable. Normally this would be a difficult transition for an elderly person, but my mother has quickly adjusted. She loves the staff and is happy there. One particular staff member, Thwe, has gone way above expectations to help me navigate doctor’s appointments and keep me informed. Perla was amazing at figuring out her medications and quickly resolving issues when my mom first arrived. I don’t typically write reviews, but I feel so strongly about how incredible this place is and cannot believe how fortunate we were to find them.

Claremont Place is absolutely the best place to place your loved one. They were so good to my Dad. Always went over, above and beyond with the care they provided. When my Dad turned 100 they surprised him with a party and invited the Mayor to present him with a certificate for becoming a Centenarian. He was so surprised! It was wonderful. Dad became good friends with Teresa in the cafeteria. She even came to his Celebration of a life Service and spoke wonderful kind words about their friendship. Only wonderful people with Big hearts are happily employed here. You definitely feel the love and warmth the minute you walk in the door! Thank you Claremont Place for being so wonderful

My mother has lived in the memory care unit at Claremont Place for over a year now. We have been very pleased with her care. She is very happy there. The facility is very clean, she has her own room, loves the activities, and has made many friends that she enjoys being with. We have been very impressed with the staff and how they care for and about the residents. The memory care activities are designed to help Alzheimer’s patients and their cognition. I would highly recommend the facility for anyone needing memory care for a loved one.

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS PLACE!! My brother in law was in there for a month and a half. My sister was told she had to move him out because they could not control his behavior. So, she found another place in San Dimas and we moved him there. At Claremont they kept him so drugged that he could not even stand up. Two days in the new place, he was up walking around. My sister has been fighting with Claremont because they owe her about $5,000. It has been over a month and she is still fighting with them. Every time I talk to her she starts to cry because of all this stress. My brother in law is doing sooooo much better in this new place. Claremont Place should not even be in business!!

Not a good place. They over-drug their residents and do not respond to concerns in a timely manner. They want you money and will readily charge fees but if they need to reimburse money it takes forever. If you care about your loved-one, look for other places.

My mother has lived at Claremont Place for about 7 months. The environment is beautiful, clean, and positive. Between my siblings and I, we visit Claremont Place 5-6 days a week, at different times of the day. We consistently find the care for our mom to be excellent. The caregivers are kind, attentive, and patient. All the staff we’ve encountered: housekeeping, maintenance, Activities, dining, reception, and Administration, have been friendly, helpful, and know my mother by name. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, I’ve been promptly helped. It brings such peace of mind knowing that our mom is safe and engaging with kind, encouraging people. We give Claremont Place our highest recommendation.

They make sure they follow fire protection systems testing, maintenance, and fire life safety procedures per state fire marshal codes. My aunt has been a resident at Claremont Place since February 2020. She began in the Assisted Living community and has since transitioned into the Memory Care community. From the very beginning, she was warmly welcomed and very well taken care of, both by the administrative and caregiver staff. We definitely appreciate the organized activities, especially for the memory care residents, we feel it’s important to keep them active and engaged. If you live in Southern California and have to place a parent in a memory care facility, Claremont Place should be your first call. After touring multiple facilities, it was obvious to my family and I that Claremont Place would be the best place for my father. Upon making that decision, the entire staff worked 24/7 to ensure a smooth and loving transition for my father and all of us as well! I have found every employee to be extremely professional, compassionate, and kind in their care of my father. From the concierge at the front desk to the attendant constantly helping my dad with his TV remote, are now members of our family! While a difficult decision for any son or daughter to make, I thank God for Claremont Place and it’s amazing staff every single day!

If you would like for the executive director to "NOT LISTEN" to your concerns about your aging loved ones, then this is the place for you! When you come to her with worries over matters, you are ignored and treated with disrespect. The food in the dining room desperately needs improvement and changing up. The alternative menu has been the same for over 12 months. It took me over 11 months to get their windows cleaned, although the director once again argued with me about it being done previously! You ask me why I don't take my parents out of this facility ~ the answer is this "they love the ladies who take care of their personal needs" ..... maybe the management should take a page of their book and learn something from them!
