Our family experience with Meridian at Stone Creek sad to say it hasn't been the best care for my parents and family. My parents' health took a turn, and both ended up in the hospital! The hospital notified Stone Creek to let them know my mom can return back to the facility. The hospital was told someone would be there to do evaluation on her. My mom sat in the hospital for 4 days after many attempts from the hospital and no return calls back from the facility. I then picked my mom up and she has been staying with me for over a week. I have physically gone to Stone Creek to make an attempt to get my mom an evaluation appointment. I have left messages at the front desk 3 different times & yet no returned calls back. My parents pay good money for quality care. the staff on site is very kind and try their best to help but the upper management is failing my parents. They seem to be really good at collecting money, but are terrible at providing actual service. I would not recommend this place to any parents or grandparents!

My mother in law has been residents for only 7 weeks and she have only been able to spend 5 weeks in her expensive apartment. She had some medical issues and ended up in the hospital for 8 days, 4 of which were spent just waiting to be contacted by Stone Creek, as she is not able to return without an evaluation with Stone Creek which seems to be impossible to get done. After her stay in the hospital, Stone Creek was contacted by the hospital staff, but never returned phone calls, even after waiting for several days. When the hospital said that they needed to be discharged, we brought her home so that she didn't end up on the street. After daily attempts to schedule an evaluation, still no response from Stone Creek. We have had our mother with us for a week now, and called every day, but all we are able to do is leave a message with [name removed] and [name removed] to which they do not respond. Not only are our parents paying good money to a place that they can't return to due to their complete lack of cooperation or even communication, but my wife has also had to take a week off of work (so far) to care for her mother and we have no plan to move forward. The facility seems to be nice, and the rest of the staff is very sweet, and you can tell that they are very frustrated as well, which is a sign that this is not an isolated incident.

We have lived here since May 2023 and the conditions have gone from lovely to disgusting. The only consistent meals are breakfast & lunch. Dinners (due to staff leaving) have become either buffet style or takeout. There is no clean silverware so now we eat with plastic. The food which is sometimes served is usually cold and overcooked. The daily specials usually run out before meal time (which has been cut sharply). We are encouraged to order from the "anytime" menu. Last night I had to take my husband out for a meal after the 2nd night of "no servers" and short cooking staff. Half the office staff has either been fired or quit. Don't get me started on cleanliness - who puts carpet in a dining room for people in wheelchairs or walkers to spill on. Walls are dirty, dust is 1/2" think, tile floors and elevators are so dirty. If I could afford to move I would and so would half the residents there. Don't come here!!!!

We just moved Mom in and she and we couldn't be happier! We visited several Independent living communities before mom decided on The Meridian at Stone Creek. We had started off the summer with the suggestion to just take a look as mom is still super independent and still drives. When we walked into the lobby we got a hmmm...... "this is beautiful, I may like to live here." And then later it was "This is the one, this is where I want to be." That was a surprise, as mom had dug her heels in and had refused even to look at any community for the past 2+yrs. Mom is 84 and a widow of two years, drives herself to the store, Dr, dentist ect. The Meridian at Stone Creek besides not looking like the institutional senior community we had visited prior to our visit here, the residence seemed to be more engaged with the community and other residents. There were actually community member milling around walking, visiting sitting in the library reading, having a snack and a cup of coffee at the snack bar. Everyone from the community residence to the staff are super friendly and there is just so much going on here that it seems if mom wants to be busy from sun up to sun down she can. There are several activity directors here and they are always making sure that their residents are engaged and welcome. We were surprised to find out they have a in house physical therapist and nurse, a dentist and podiatrist that visit and they have a hair salon. The Meridian actually has a restaurant that has a chef which gives mom two specials for lunch and dinner she can choose but there is a set menu to choose from. Mom loves choosing from the many items at breakfast and also having a omelette made just the way she likes it. She often says "it's like going to a restaurant, I pretty much just tell them what I want for breakfast." Everyday I get the meal run down, what a way to get spoiled. After more than 2yrs of discussions about senior living she now says "I don't know what I was thinking, I should have done this sooner, this isn't what I was thinking it was like. This is more like a cruise ship, with its restaurant, activities, clubs and everyone is so friendly." This is probably one of the best decisions for moms well-being that could have been made. As we get older it's important to keep engaged with others. Everyone lives close to here all within 10 miles and some family members just a mile away. She always had family members dropping in and out but never as often as she would have liked which would be every day to spend several hours at a time, but families are busy. She still has her very own apartment, with all her own things. She's making new friends, trying new things and finally just enjoying life.

Doreen was a fabulous host. My mom and I really enjoyed our tour. The Meridian is so pretty and has fabulous activities. We hear they have the best food! I left hoping my mom chooses this fabulous senior facility.

Excellent informative tour today. Grand lodge like setting in the gathering areas. Competively price point. Clean, spacious and beautiful facilities. Don't know what it's like once a loved one moves in and if they can follow through with the services you're paying for. That is the unknowns within all assisted living homes for your loved one. Difficult and exhausting process.

Love the setting and staff is wonderful. My only concern is the entry way in front and areas in the back areas. Everytime I have visited, there has been alot of bird dodo on the windows and in the middle of the area you walk thru. Can not be healthy for people who have walkers, canes or just shoes to walk through it and track it into the lobby and further. I feel this should be attended to daily otherwise I don't have any complaints and my husband and I are looking forward to moving in.

This place is first class. There are activities every day. Transportation when you need it. The facility is clean (really clean). Dining is 4 star. Three choices on the menu at every setting. I love staying there and highly recommend it. Also, No contract to sign.

The staff at this facility has been absolutely wonderful throughout the pandemic. From the front desk staff to Med Techs to kitchen staff to cleaning staff, to activities staff who would stop in to say hello and bring art supplies, to maintenance staff, all went out of their way to deliver packages, meals, and groceries to each apartment. Maintenance helped my mom whenever she hit a wrong button on her tv remote and the tv would go blank, Clothes were washed and delivered, they worked hard. Cleaning staff were supportive, and were hard st work. Physical Therapy staff went out of their way to help, even on days when mom wasnt being treated, just to give a hello and smile. They really worked their tails off! The director is wonderful, and so supportive, and all staff are so loving and supportive to my mom. I have felt very happy to have my mom here. For a short time my mom needed help with the med techs and they worked very hard, kept me in the loop, and were very loving. This was a difficult year for most residents, but I was very happy to know Mom was being taken care of. Thank-you to all!

I stopped in to pay my grandmothers rent - bill yesterday and had questions - concerns. I asked to speak with someone and met with an amazingly kind woman named Sarah. She not only listened to my MANY questions but took the personal time to set me up with autopay to save me time from coming in. We are so happy with the Memory Care Facility at Meridian at Stone Creek. The Staff is the Best and they treat and help our loved one every day like he is special. I have been told that you better keep an eye out on Memory Care Facilities, not so with the Meridian. They are knowledgeable, friendly and great customer service from the time you enter to visit to the time you leave. Thank you all for taking such good care of our loved one.

Considered living here, and came for a visit with my daughter. It was a little more than I was willing to spend financially, but the cottages are absolutely gorgeous. They made me feel like I was not downsizing so much. They had all updated appliances and were very spacious. I liked the fact that they had a check-in button to make sure the residents in the cottage were okay. Gave me a sense of security. Beautiful place. Would have definitely loved to have one of those cottages!

Very nice facility in a real beautiful and peaceful area. Prices may be a little expensive but they have great service and offer so much. They have a wide variety of assistance programs for the disabled elderly. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful facility with fantastic care. Only thing I worry about with my mom being there is the fact that one of the hundreds of elderly living under one roof could forget about something on the stove and it could be catastrophic for many people. I hope they have a good sprinkler/ fire alarm system.

Her outgoing personality and understanding made a difficult situation a lot less stressful and easy to navigate. My initial impression walking into the building is that it is one of the nicest places I have ever walked in to. The friendliness of the staff and the way they walk up to residents, touch and greet them is a big deal to me.
