I am very impressed with how welcoming the team at Bethesda Gardens Arlington is. Denisse does a great job explaining everything that is involved with making your loved one a resident at the community. She is very helpful and thorough in making sure everything comes together when you feel ready to choose the community as home for your loved one. Barbara is very accommodating with matters related to medication management. I would definitely recommend this community for those seeking a great assisted living community!

I have been a resident for a couple of months and must say I am very impressed. My experience has exceeded my expectations. Bethesda is set up like an expansive home-like setting. None of the drab boring institutional look. The place is clean and relaxing with wonderful color schemes. The food is good and served in a peaceful setting. Kitchen workers are very helpful and cater to your needs. The rooms are nice and the halls are furnished nicely with areas to entertain visitors if you desire. All the workers are very professional in their duties yet are very friendly in their dealings with residents. The location is in central Arlington and is near shopping, restaurants, and close to the medical district on Matlock. As the saying goes-- "There is no place I would rather be!"

Most facilities only know your loved one by what’s written in their chart, and many don’t take the time to truly connect during the move-in process. It’s rare to find nurses who go above and beyond”who genuinely get to know each resident, interact with them, and treat them as individuals. Choosing the right place for your parent isn’t easy, but when you find the right one, it’s truly a blessing. Nurse Barbara is one of those blessings. She consistently goes the extra mile, showing patience, compassion, and genuine love for the residents. Her dedication and hard work never go unnoticed.

I recently visited Bethesda Gardens in consideration for my Mom and met with Bonnie and Denisse. Both ladies were very friendly and informative. I felt very comfortable with Bethesda Gardens as a place for my Mom. It was very clean, had a pleasant smell and the staff seemed to be very kind to their residents. When Mom is ready, I'll be ready to secure a space for her here.

I live in Oregon and my mother has been at Bethesda since May 2023. An unfortunate chain of events in 2024 caused by outside sources caused an interruption and inconvenience with my mother's care. November is when I became aware of what was happening. This was not the fault of Bethesda, but it was with care and understanding from the management staff at the facility and the district administrator, that all was worked out and my mother's care continued. Recently My mother was hospitalized and had to go to a rehab facility. The staff at Bethesda continued to check on her status and assure mother was doing well. I stay in touch with the staff, as I am 2400 miles away. They are never too busy not speak with me and always have mother's best interest at heart. Their care is excellent. Their communication is excellent. Thank you for being there for our family and especially my mother. 06/19/2025 As I stated in my previous review, my mother had taken ill and was hospitalized. After a lengthy rehab mother was able to return to Bethesda. Bonnie and Barbara were in constant contact with me about mother's recovery. The facility looked after my mother as if she was their family. Mother was 94 years young with a lot of fight and Bonnie and Barbara knew this about her and were with every day possible. Mother did become ill again and she decided, as she always wanted to make her own decisions, to join my dad in forever peace. The staff at Bethesda, and mean the entire staff, treated mother as one of their own. In their business they see people come and go for many reasons, but when one who is part of their family leaves life for peace, the staff feels loss just as any family member would. This includes empathy for the surviving family of the loved one. They make the transition and wrap up of business seamless and painless. Anyone looking for a new dwelling for a loved one cannot go wrong with Bethesda and their staff. Take time to visit with Bonnie and Barbara you will find they are the best to work with because of their experience but most of all because they care. Thank you all for taking care of mother.

My late father spent just a week at the wonderful Bethesda Gardens before he sadly passed away. During that brief time, we were deeply impressed by the exceptional care and compassion shown by the administration and staff. They went above and beyond, making sure he was comfortable and treated with dignity. Bethesda Gardens is remarkably well-organized, and the staff's warmth and kindness provided us with much-needed peace of mind during a difficult time. One of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make is how to responsibly and lovingly care for our mom due to a stroke and loss of our dad. After 60 years on the family farm, the time came for her to be moved locally into an assisted living location. We chose Bethesda Gardens because of its reputation several years ago. The disappointment in care was tremendous due to poor leadership but has since been resolved through the hire of incredibly caring and qualified leadership combined with compassionate caregivers and staff. These wonderful people were like family to Mom when she recently passed away. After such difficult decisions and initial disappointments, Mom said this past year was the best she’d had in a long time. She remarkably came to call Bethesda home. We could not be more thankful. Highly recommended by her kids, Pam, Jerry and Mike

My mother lived here from Sept 2016 until January 2018. The management is awful: my mothers room flooded three times and they moved her bed without telling me and she fell because they did not have her bed at the angle she was accustomed to. When I came to visit no one was at the front desk and I never could get a straight answer about my mothers care. I noticed she declined rapidly after that fall, and that move. The caregivers were always sneaking out the back door to smoke together. I pushed my mothers call button and it took over an hour to have them respond. Someone broke the plug to my mothers hospital bed: they had the head up and the feet up and left her that way for a week! My mother was miserable. The management promised to apply a credit which they never did. I moved her to The Waterford on Cooper in North Arlington.Dr

Amazing and sweet staff. My aunt lived here in 2017 and we could not have asked for a better place. She was loved and cared for by many people and she felt very at home here even though she did miss her own home. The staff was so supportive when she passed . The staff and Bethesda Gardens was truly an extended family. I can't thank them enough.
