We did due diligence on this facility and others for over 3 1/2 years and decided that this was the place. How wrong we were on every level. Signed a one year residency agreement on 11-11-25 with Mangrove Bay/Senior Living for $8395 per month and paid the $85,000 buy in fee. Come 1-1-26 they raised us 9% to $9143 per month. The contract states they can increase the monthly rate after sending a 30 day notice, which was never sent to us. We contacted management and were basically told that is the way things are and how they operate. We gave 60 days notice and demanded that our entire buy in fee be returned. We vacated on 6-16-26 without our $85,000. Story to be continued, because of the many issues that we uncovered here. There are many silent voices here with folks that are afraid to speak up against these negatives for fear of reprisal. Breakfast fruit looks like it was removed from Publix two days ago. Nothing healthy served in the dining room and most dishes are tasteless and atrocious. Many residents make jokes, but it’s not funny. 135 independent living units generates about $1,282,500 in revenue per month. To serve low quality food like this is an absolute disgrace!L

I have made so many friendships while here. This is my 7th year and I am still happy I made that decision. The management is very friendly and the community is so clean. My 7 year old granddaughter feels this is such a grand place to live and wanted to know if anybody could live here or just older people. I loved the ability to walk my round trip to Dive Bar & Restaurant by just walking out my pool gate.

I walked by here daily with my husband and we loved it. After I lost him my daughters helped me to downsize into the beautiful apartment I have now here at Mangrove Bay. I loved it from the first day I came to see it. I got to renovate and choose all my colors. It has such cleanliness and great activities programs.

Everyone is so friendly. I love the activities, especially Bridge, Art, and Chorus. The swimming pool, fitness classes with Charles, and there are so many wonderful places to sit and read a book on every floor.

Mom was welcomed and integrated into the Mangrove Bay community from the beginning. A qualified , competent and experienced team made sure that we were kept informed regarding administrative matters, while they demonstrated empathy, kindness and respect towards her.

There are good reasons for a long waiting list at Mangrove Bay. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate the residents. The facilities are well maintained. The residents are friendly and help one another.

Great location, wonderful staff, clean facility and lots of great food and fun activities for my mom. She loves Mangrove Bay. UPDATE: Still a wonderful facility with very caring and professional staff. Sadly, however, the out-of-state owner, Hawthorn Senior Living (Vancouver, WA) regularly increases their rates (room & board, etc.). This year, for example, the annual rates increased by a staggering $9,500 or 9.66%. This in addition to an increase in the very recent past. This is not the staff's fault, it is coming from the greedy corporate owners. If you are interested in Mangrove Bay, you must be prepared to absorb meaningful, regular rate increases. Mangrove Bay can quickly become very difficult to afford with these outrageous rate increases. Your options are terrible: Pay-up or... get out. Residents and their families are put in a horrible position. Think about it.

Donna Marie is a great asset to the Mangrove Bay sales office. My mom and I called to learn about senior living and what Mangrove Bay offered, and Donna Marie invited us to visit the next day. She is very friendly and positive, and we appreciate the time she took with our family. I was so impressed that Donna Marie knew every resident by name as we passed by different people on our tour. Donna Marie’s welcoming approach helped my mom begin to feel comfortable about transitioning to a retirement community. Donna Marie answers questions in a caring way and loves helping others. I should only be so fortunate to live at Mangrove Bay , Jupiter someday . My mom & dad lived there 14 years ago and returned to their place in Juno Beach, as just needed to keep their boating life condo cruising . Since Dad , no longer with us in this world , he wished for mom to return to Mangrove Bay . I couldn’t have agreed more . Who doesn’t want to live in a place that compares to a 5 star hotel with the kindness of people surrounding you ! It is worth all, and more when you really figure it out . The value in amenities , food , safety , friends and youthful lifestyle cannot compare to any other place around . Believe me , I searched north , south , east & west . Thank you Mangrove Bay , for keeping the quality and care alive throughout the years !

The staff takes wonderful care of the residents. Accommodations are great, and the food menus are good. Mangrove Bay provides frequent entertainment and activities for the residents. The building is a safe haven during storms. Transportation is available for shopping and doctors appointments.

I am so happy with the care my mother is receiving in Memory Care at Mangrove Bay. The staff is wonderful, everyone from Jinah the Director, to the nurses and all the caregivers and cleaning staff. They all seem to know my mother so well and attend to her in a kind, fun and professional way. From the moment I walked in, I felt like it was a friendly, caring atmosphere. My mother’s room is clean and comfortable and fits all her needs. Under staff’s direction we were able to get her a proper wheelchair, bed and all her supplies. We have great communication with staff and they are open and honest with us. They have helped us through this difficult time of understanding her disease and knowing what to do for her. We came from the facility where we felt our mother was not getting good care and so we moved her to Mangrove Bay. We have not regretted our decision! I want to thank everyone for your continued love, patience and professionalism.

I am very grateful for the memory care team at Mangrove Bay. They have taken great care of my mom who has advanced cognitive needs. The unit is like a family. The team has had years of experience with little turnover. I have always received quick response whenever I needed the Director, nurse or aide. They have taken loving care of my mom.

My husband was a resident of Mangrove Bay Memory Care for a year. I highly recommend this facility for their professional, caring, and compassionate staff. He received excellent care and they provided me with a kindness that I will be forever grateful for. Resident are treated as special people and care is tailored to the individual. My mother was a resident of Mangrove Bay for 2 years. The staff at MB were so wonderful to her. Every time I was there I was so impressed with how caring and kind they all were. My mom was ill and suffered from hallucinations that made her imagine terrible scenarios that weren't actually happening, but were very real to her. I installed a camera in her room to make sure that she was safe. Every interaction I viewed from the staff was professional and courteous, no matter how irrational or aggressive my mother was being. Vickie, Hugh, Dorothy, Danielle, Kathy, Dianne, and Anne are just a few of the names that stand out as the best people you could have working in an ALF. Thank you all for taking such good care of her. It meant everything to me.

I have been a resident of Mangrove Bay for 7 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have recommended it to many friends who have as a result moved here. The Staff is outstanding - very caring and efficient. Our Activity Director does a great job with so many choices of what we would enjoy doing. My only suggestion would be to have less fried food which I cannot have and more vegetables - not cole slaw as a vegetable as vegetables should be cooked. The Dining Room staff is very good.

I have been a resident of Mangrove Bay for 5 years, I would not want to live anywhere else. I have a service dog who has been treated like a family member. I enjoy the activities, especially trivia, bingo and choral group. I have made a lot of friends here who have the same ideals. I intend to make this my final home for the rest of my life..

I am a resident at Mangrove Bay and have lived here for over 10 years. My favorite thing about Mangrove Bay is the fact that it is small enough to know and care about everyone and big enough to have a circle of close friends. The wishes of the residents are always considered important. The activities are many and catered to are needs. I personally enjoy Beads, Bridge, and bingo, the three B's The transportation is geared to the wishes, needs, of our social and medical requirements. They are willing to do anything for me which includes, meeting friends for lunch.

This facility is amazing. The entire staff are extremely friendly and professional. The independent living facilities are beautiful and pristine. The bar area and dining room are like a country club. The food is quite good. There are many daily activities to choose from. Our family member has been living here for a few months and is very happy. When asked if she misses her house, she said that she doesn’t because she has everything she needs here.

As nurse care manager I have had the pleasure of working very closely with Mangrove Bay staff during my patient’s residency in an ALF apartment. I found Mangrove Bay to provide the utmost in professionalism and kindness when delivering care to my patient. This is a lovely community, clean and well maintained. They provide a truly pleasant environment for residents and staff is always attentive and eager to accommodate with any needs that arise. I highly recommend Mangrove Bay.

I recently had my grandmother placed here and the staff have been phenomenal thus far. Nancy was more than accommodating to show me all around and explain anything to me I had questions about. The staff are also vibrant and friendly. My grandmother absolutely feels comfortable and welcome here. Me and my family all feel comfortable with her here for her safety and her day-to-day life. My grandmother has macular degenerative eye disease and they've been more than accommodating in setting up her room and getting the necessary things that she needs. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place!

I cannot say enough good things about Mangrove Bay. It is fabulous! I looked at over a dozen facilities before moving my parents to Mangrove Bay and it was by far the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest that I visited. It is like a five star resort. It is so nice my wife and I would move in now if we could! Moving my parents into a facility was particularly difficult because my father’s dementia had not progressed as much as my mother’s dementia and he resisted vehemently. During this very difficult period the Mangrove Bay staff was amazingly understanding and patient despite his very angry and obstinate behavior. The staff knew when to push and when to give them space. Since moving in and enjoying the activities and outings both parents are now much happier and much more like their old selves. Although this terrible disease still causes us all so much heartbreak and not everyday is a good one, at least visits are now mostly full of laughter and smiles again. It is a relief to have them safe and as happy as we could hope for at this point thanks to the Mangrove Bay staff.

I visit Mangrove Bay quite often, I have gotten to know the residents and staff. You can tell the residents are happy. Many have pets and that is so special to them. But I think the number one reason for the residents happiness is the staff. You can tell right from the moment you walk in. Always a friendly warm smile, from the front desk right up to the Director. Many of the staff have been there for years, and that in itself tells a lot. It really is like one big family.Those reasons, and many more, are why I give Mangrove Bay 5 stars.
