My mother lived at Heritage Woods of Mt Vernon one year before her passing. From the day she moved in she was much more happy than she had even been at home the last few years. She became more social and looked forward to the activities, meals and just walking the halls for exercise. The staff was excellent and created this environment. It was a wonderful place for her during that time.

I was honored to be included in their open hose last night. The management staff went above and beyond to host a fantastic party for the residents! A live DJ, root beer floats and candy bars for all! The 50s themed decor was perfect to set the mood for a great event! Thank you for all you do for your residents!

Heritage Woods is an Amazing assisted living facility! My sister has lived there for over 2 years now. She is thriving and enjoying her life at "The Woods." You couldn't ask for a more friendly and attentive staff. She enjoys all the various activities that are available for her and the convenience of the restaurant style dining. I would recommend Heritage Woods of Mt. Vernon to anyone needing assisted living! My grandma has lived at Heritage Woods for 3 years. Our family always has a peace of mind that she is well cared for. She feels safe there. Their staff is absolutely AMAZING! They check on her often, and if she ever needs anything they will call us. Not only do I work there (8 years now) but I have also had a loved one live there as well. I can personally say all the staff are loving and caring to our residents and we strive to treat them as family and make everyday fun and enjoyable! Wonderful facility to have your loved one!

This is a very clean and friendly facility. The staff is always very nice and always there to direct you in the right direction. The residents always seem to be having fun. I know the administrator personally and the residents are in good hands!!!!!
