American House Hendersonville is doing a great job of caring for my 94-year-old mother. The facility director Marquita is very compassionate and is always available to answer questions and give advice. The nurses (Tonja, Tamera, Chance and Smyla) are knowledgeable and take the time to talk to Mom and make sure her needs are met. Tanya encourages Mom to participate in activities and interact with the other residents. All the staff are good at working together to make sure Mom's needs are met.

I love visiting the staff and residents because everyone is so friendly! I can always tell that the residents are truly happy with their new home. It's very clean and doesn't have that "nursing home" smell. I would quickly recommend American House to anyone who is shopping for either independant, assisted living, memory care!

The staff and leaders of American House have been tremendous to our mother and our entire family throughout our journey and every step from an initial tour to decision making, transition and move and during these months of our mother settling in to her new home. My mother moved into American House's memory care unit this past April with late stage dementia. The facility director, Rachel, and her dedicated team of nurses and caregivers welcomed Mom with open arms. The memory care unit director, Wanda, made sure that Mom received the loving care and attention that she deserved during her 4-month stay. Equally important was how welcomed everyone made us, Mom's family, feel when we came for daily visits. Our previous experiences with other assisted living facilities were less than pleasant. We are truly grateful that Mom's final months were spent surrounded by people who truly cared about her.

My mother has been at American House Hendersonville, TN for almost 8 months in their Memory Care. I have been very pleased with the office staff and caregivers for mama. She settled in much quicker than I had expected. They care about their residents and I am thankful for the patience they show daily as they help residents navigate daily life and care for their needs. It was hard having to put mama in Memory Care and it gives me comfort knowing that mama is being cared for by people who care.

I struggled for months to find a place for my grandma. The ones i've visited seemed so cols and not inviting. That was until I came here. The stay was so helpful and addressed any concerns I had. The residents seemed to enjoy the activities they had going on that day. So if you haven't had any luck give them a try.
