Andrew, the exec director, works very hard to make sure all the residents feel at home and are happy. He has gone above and beyond for me personally and I am so grateful for his help and support. He is amazing. This is the place to be, we are all family here.

Great team! No ALF is perfect, but this group does their best to provide loving care to each resident. Love them and the care they provide! They know the names of everyone and laugh and interact with them. They are attentive and arrange a variety of activities. Caregiving is complicated and difficult, yet they remain positive. Andrew in the Memory Care ward is an exceptional person who gives a piece of his heart to each person. He is very hands on. Angel responds quickly to emails and calls and is flexible when assessing needs. Dee, Julia, Maria, Anesa … they are all first class people who genuinely care.

I like living here. When it comes to needing a person to help me, I simply push my "help" button that is around my neck. If I'm having a seizure, or TBI issue and I can't push the button, I have another option that I did for my wife when she was in my spot. First, I got help with my wife in the living room of our home 24/7. Nobody left her 24/7 in our living room. It was either me with her, family member with her, or sometimes I had to pay an aide to be with her, but that was super expensive. That's why I live here. If you are upset that your Veteran didn't get an aide sitting in your Veteran's room 24/7 at Palmetto….and he / she DIDN'T push his / her help button, do what I did with my wife. You even get to do it at home. I have learned here recently that when people need HELP and they DON'T push the HELP button around their neck, it's easy to for others (like me) to get mad when they (I) didn't get the true situation of what was going on.

Palmetto Landing has been fabulous. From the ED Angel to the Health and Wellness Director Jennifer. They truly care about your loved one and strive to give the best care possible. I have personal contact numbers for both of them and they always answer my calls. If an issue comes up, they are on top of it right away. BEST ASSISTED LIVING EVER. I'm truly happy.

Do yourself a favor and get a camera in your loved ones room. Without it, there would have been several times that daily tasks and hold have been incomplete. We love the head nurse, Jennifer and the activities director, Jonathan. They're the reason that this has been even a remotely enjoyable experience. Also be sure to ask for print out of all services you're being provided.

"Another gift from God! Linh, my husband, has a new home with caring people at Palmelto Landing". We just recently moved Linh here. It was a wise decision on my part. He loves the place ( spacious room and good food) with caring staff. The administration team with Angel (the Executive Director) , Stephanie, Hailey , Jonathan , Tish, and the caring clinical team including Jennifer, Darlene , Lorraine and Sheri and others are all very professional , friendly and always there to help us. The cafeteria staff serve the food with the smile! Also thank you to the engineering/maintenance staff with Shayna to keep the place clean, well maintained. Kudos to the caregivers staff who provides direct service to my husband for being so friendly , nice and would go the extra mile to ensure he is comfortable. We appreciate all that you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We moved my mom in a few weeks ago. She LOVES it so there so much!!! Her room is the perfect size and she even got to bring her favorite child (her cat Bernie) with her. The staff is phenomenal. They treat my mom like a friend and everyone is so genuinely engaging with her. There are tons of activities and Wednesday group outings. The other evening I called my mom and she said: “I can’t talk now, it’s movie night and I don’t want to be late.” This past week with Hurricane Ian barreling down on us, the staff did an amazing job of preparing the facility and keeping everyone calm (including those of us who were worried about our resident family members). I just can’t say enough about how thankful I am that we chose Palmetto Landing for this next phase of my mom’s life. She is happier than I’ve seen her in a long time.

Palmetto Landing has been wonderful to work with. They have treated my Mom, who is in the Memory Care Unit, with dignity and respect and have addressed any concerns that I have had. The staff is friendly and caring. Food is good. Courtyard is beautiful. Smaller facility that has a great patient/resident ratio. Director has been in contact with me personally to answer questions. I am very thankful my Mom is a resident here.

Love working at Palmetto Landing. If it wasn't for the ED Michella I don't think I would work here. She makes you feel welcome and she treats you like family. She goes the extra mile to make sure not only is her residents cared for she always make sure her staff is cared for too.

I’ve been here for a year and must say Palmetto Landing is one of the best facilities I’ve had the honor of working at. The staff is amazing and shows nothing but teamwork throughout every department!! Management is impeccable making sure to treat each of us with respect and dignity we deserve. I love coming in to work and talking with the residents as they are so warm welcoming and will turn your frown upside in a split second!!!! I would highly recommend anyone, whether you’re looking for a place for your loved one or looking for a place to begin your career path, you won’t be disappointed.

My mom was a resident at Palmetto Landing before her passing. I don't think I could have placed her in a better place. She took ill while we were away on vacation and had to be sent to the hospital. The young ladies from the staff took turns sitting with her at the hospital until we were able to return. I don't know where you could find a loving bunch of humans anywhere else. The director Michella Anderson kept in contact with us from the beginning to the end. She embraced us as if we were a part of her family. Without her prayers, I don't think we could have gotten through. So to her and her staff thank you for all that you do and may God keep his hand on your building, staff, and residents.

My 91 years old Mom, a non-English speaker resident at Palmetto Landing Assistant Living where the staff, nurses and caregivers do care about their residents. They use google translator, body language or call family member to overcome language barriers. Here are some things that I have observed recently: - Chefs Mike, Shawn would spend time getting to know her diet, the food she likes or dislikes, adjust her meals preference. - Front desk Kathy, Mira would do anything required in helping residents with smiling faces. - Agatha work closely with personnel to make sure medication-dose distributed properly. - Nurse Edna would do all the chores helping residents on weekends. - Natacha Lherisson does good job in helping choosing packages flexibly. Under the professional and excellent leadership of Executive Director Michella Anderson, all stuff there hard working, friendly, patient and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering-choosing a Home for your loved ones. -

My grandparents are residents of Palmetto Landing and absolutely love it! They were previously at Encore at Avalon Park but found the costs to be too much and had a need to cut costs. Once we toured the community, we knew we had found the perfect option for them. My grandmother helps with outside gardening and my grandfather helps with popcorn time! They have a wonderful entertainment area with a baby grand piano and a TV playing old time movies and TV shows. The community feel is much different than any of the Assisted Living Facilities I visited with them in the past. They dont have nurses and doctors rushing around in the halls, or beeping monitors making loud noises throughout the building. Its a single story facility and has someone at the front to sign in visitors all the time. The dining room has another small piano and everyone eats together like a big family. The residents are mostly of sound mind, just enjoying life with the safety and security of their needs being cared for. I would highly recommend Palmetto Landing to anyone looking to relocate to Assisted Living.

Im a frequent visitor at the tuskawilla location and im so impressed with the management staff, and the personal care to each resident. Ive been to other assisted living communities, but this one, you feel the love when you walk in the door.
