I transferred here from a rehab. facility after a stroke in 6/23. The therapy department is very good and has helped me regain my walking ability. This facility is very clean and the staff is nice and helpful. It was a good move for me.

I am a resident at the Heritage of Clara Barton. The food is great. The workers in every department are fabulous! If you ask any question to the staff if they don’t know the answer they will make sure they find the answer and get back to you. I don’t have any complaints. It’s a great facility all around. Highly recommend this facility!!!

I have been living here for 10 years and I absolutely love it here. It's a beautiful building and they keep upgrading. What I like about Heritage of Clara Barton is the family attmistphire between all the staff and residents. The staff are really top notch! I highly recommend this community for anyone that needs an Assisted Living Community!

Clara Barton is a home away from home!!! You walk in and you’re greeted by front desk in a friendly manner. The residents look very happy to be here and are treated like one big family. The nursing staff are very attentive to the residents and try to accommodate and make them comfortable in any way. The food is also phenomenal. I wish I could eat here everyday lol. Also the residents have so many activities to do so they’re never bored. This is the place you want to settle down in.

Our mom has been living at Heritage of Clara Barton for the past 6 years and it has been an extraordinary experience for our entire family. From the great nurses to the day and night staff, everybody has been so helpful and understanding. To work and be effective in this field of work, you need to truly understand the life phases a person experiences as they travel through the evening of their days. We are thankful to have found Heritage and for the support everybody has always shown to our beloved mom. I would like to personally thank the head nurse, Marge, and Steven, the administrator, for their continued support. They are always willing to help with anything and everything and we are grateful. Finally, I would like to thank all the nurses who day in and day out help our mom. I am sorry I do not remember all the names but you know who you are and we appreciate all of you! My mother and father moved into Heritage last July and loved it. They were being taking care of the way they needed to be. My father had a stroke and had to start using a walker and couldn't drive anymore and my mother had early dementia. Unfortunately, a few months later my father passed away. Heritage of Clara Barton has gone above and beyond taking care of my mother. The care she gets is top shelf. Everyone from the awesome daytime and night time aides and the nurses are exceptional. She gets the care and attention that she needs. (Thank you Wellness Center). They give her three great meals a day in their dining room which she can choose her meal from different meal options. And if my mother does not care for the choices for the day, there's a whole list of alternative choices she can choose from. The current chef is great. The kitchen staff is great. The building is kept very clean. That was very important for me and my family. My family looked at different Assisted Living facilities and we are so happy that we chose Heritage of Clara Barton. Because I truly feel this is the best assisted living in our area. And let us not forget that there are activities and entertainment all day for the residents. And the facility just hosted a big Memorial Day barbecue for the residents and families to all enjoy together. And the food was plentiful and delicious. Again, thank you for taking care of my mother and showing her the respect she deserves and making her feel comfortable.

My mom has been here for 6 years and we are very happy. She’s very well taken care of. The nurses and staff are patient with her and are always looking out for her well being. Here room is spacious and comfortable. The entire building is always clean and up to date. The front entrance is always decorated very nicely and they have multiple activities for the residents to do on a daily basis. Communication with us is also very good, something that is very important for us. While the best case scenario would have be to keep mom at home with us, unfortunately due to her medical conditions is not safe to do so. We are very glad to have found a place like Heritage and we feel at ease knowing she is there.

What a wonderful place for the care of your loved one. From the moment I walk in I am greeted with a smile. Everyone from the staff says hello and personally knows my mom. It's so nice that she is happy here and is surrounded by people who truly care about her a real family atmosphere! We all love the Aide Pat, the nurse Marge to name a few of the exceptional care team. Mickey the Administrator who looks out for what the patients need and let us know in such a thoughtful caring way. The Director, Steven Posen always answers question promptly and has an excellent eye in choosing his team. Thank you!

The staff is very personable. I just lost my mom just recently they were so kind so as to what she needed..I will always remember them and never forget the kindness and the care they showed..from the administrator down to the nurses aids and even front desk service!!!! there is nothing like being in your own home, but when that is not possible and you have to place your loved ones in a facility what better place could there be than The Heritage at Clara Barton? thank you Heritage, thank you so much.

This is my first experience with having a loved one is an assisted living facility. I can say that all of the wonderful staff and management at The Heritage of Clara Barton have welcomed my mom with open arms and have truly made a difference in both of our lives. What started as scary and unknown has turned around and become comfortable, fun and home for mom. She is now busy every day. There are many activities to participate in, which has allowed for residents to meet, get to know one another and combat aloneness feelings. I truly feel like they consider the residents family and are always available when she or I need them. They have been a huge help to me and are always eager to discuss her needs and my concerns. It gives me a sense of peace to know mom feels at home and safe each and every day.

My Mom is a resident of Heritage of Clara Barton. The Executive Director Steven Posen and his entire staff go above and beyond to create a wonderful environment for the residents. My Mom is 95 and needs a lot of care. There has never been a time that any questions I’ve had weren’t answered quickly. Steven Posen responds quickly and is always available. I’m there a lot and each time I see so much love for the residents. When I leave I know my Mom will be treated with respect and love. This is so important to me and I appreciate them all.

This facility has a staff that provides great care for their residents. The activity director Krytal is an exceptional asset to the facility. She cares and provides special attention individually to each resident. She provides a fun environment for everyone keeping all the residents engaged and active adding different activities that you won't see in other facilities..The heritage of clara barton is such a lovely place as soon as you walk in. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The place is very clean. Definitely a place to have your loved one call home.

My sister n I toured on 2/4/23 this from others in nj are very hands on. Always active with things to do constantly thru out each day 7days a week . Staff very calm and helpful and friendly we know this is the place for my sister.

The Assisted/Independent Facility Heritage of Clara Barton Genesis Health Care is beyond any question a very efficiently and caring facility. Jyll B and her assistant Christine have been in front of any issues that could be a problem if not addressed well ahead of time. The staff is very friendly and helpful and willing to take on any duties that normally aren’t part of their responsibilities. Every effort is made to accommodate any programs to help residents cope with this pandemic. Safety is of primary concern and everything possible is done to keep everyone safe! The nursing staff is very caring and do their very best to meet all the medical needs of residents. I have been a resident for 5 years and have nothing but praise for everyone.

My Mom is currently living at the Heritage at Clara Barton. During these very stressful times we are all experiencing , the one thing I don’t have to worry about is my Mom’s safety. Jyll, Christine and the entire staff are an amazing team. Their #1 priority is keeping the residents safe. Lines of communication are always open between staff and families . They are the best.
