Hi ---sorry but we have a problem here...,.it's about the food. Service in dinning room they come to work late after 7:10am and food is bad when I moved in a year half it was good .I don't way Alot of people don't come to eat .I mean bad....it's like if you say something you did wrong.or not happy that you said something about it..... We have for the most 12/to15 people to eat.and80/we have chicken,and Alot of time it's fish, where is other food.what they put on menu we sometimes they always change it help us......

So sorry when I moved in here all staff was all over me .I'm old but I know what going on. The move in person turn.in bad person .Because they had to move me in a defrent room for my breathing problems. I was by dryers? And she was tacking to long to get them to gather for me to sign them./ she was so mad!!!!!! Because I turn her in .so I could move in new room!!!And our activities person sad the 1st. Day she does not like her job she wants to go back to cleaning!I she never does what's on calendar. My problem is she very very close with moving person .the two of them won't talk to me people seen them do that to me .I gave food to Mackey ings to eat She gave them away! And I gave her jelly beans to go in a jar But She ate them All.the2 of them tell others how the don't like me .act person can't drive the bus that s a joke (our life is in your hand I don't go with her. Pull out in front of people. And take the curve s with her.I do not like what they Do to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I said to people here nothing get done!so I want to go higher!I'm not a bad person! They need to have better people running your home .!!and nice people ! When where out the act.person well go out to get Food for her to eat and bring it to her!!!!!! I love it here but 2 people are tacking it Down . No I'm not moving .I'm staying here but I well say the truth about here!!!!!l

Wow its so good and clean staff is great,But Staff is fantastic they make sure I'm okay every day they check on you slot to make sure your doing good .This is the very first time I feel like home I'll never want to move .Thank You For the Love in Green Oaks.(please not change.Your Great) love ly

I've been looking for some options for my grandfather and I've toured a few communities in the south suburbs. Victory Centre was very welcoming. Jennifer made me feel like my grandfather will not only be safe, but be able to keep his independence. The Building was clean and the music was pleasantly lively. Everyone seemed happy to be working there. That's the environment I want for my Grandfather. I'm excited this will be his home.

I am the Viva Life Coordinator here at Victory Centre of Park Forest. I’ve worked here over 2 1/2 years. I love the residents. They always show their appreciation for the programs I run on a daily basis. They make new residents feel welcome when they move in. The other departments work to ensure the residents needs and wants are met daily. I enjoy coming to work every day and seeing my residents smile. They make my day. Not a day goes by that we aren’t laughing at a program. Laughter is the best medicine.

Johnell was amazing he has great customer service skills. He is friendly very informative he not only help with the front desk but also with keeping thing clean and neat. He showed great leadership as well as a team player. This is one person I can say that has one job but does every job with a smile. Victory Center wouldn’t be the same with out him. In March of 2020 I took on the role of Executive Director at Victory Centre of Park Forest. The day I arrived the world shut down. First, I would like to say Thank you to the Team. Over the almost two years I have been here in the role I have seen a team that gives 100% of themselves every day and they make it look easy. They treat each resident like their family member. I have seen each team member go out of their way to take care of a resident when they need something. The other night I saw an LEA walk in with a bunch of Gatorade for a resident not feeling themselves. When many staff members quit because of Covid this team worked overtime allowing us to NOT to have any agency in the building narrowing possible sources of infections and keeping our Covid positivity rate very low. They were scared and they were tired, but they showed up!! That's the kind of team they are. I regularly inspected apartments in a time when people would come to work and refuse to care for residents and these apartments were clean and residents cared for. Next, thank you to all the residents that trusted us with their care over the last few years. The residents would tell me they were happy and felt safe and in good hands it became a running mantra that Victory Centre of Park Forest lived in bubble. I believe residents truly thought that Covid could not come here to their home. They lived each day still engaged with each other. They would have activities on their floor from their doorway and then only a few at a time far enough apart. This became the year we truly got to know each other and enjoy each other. Residents tell me they love it here and that they love the staff. Finally, thank you to the family members that trusted with the care of your family members, what scary times you lived through and then to have to trust someone else to care and love your loved ones, how much faith you put in us as a team. We were glad to do to it! Trusting us was the biggest support we could receive from you. It was hard, but it was worth it. Truly, I believe any family member that went on this journey with us would agree. I would put my own parent here and have every faith they would be happy even if I wasn’t the Executive Director, because this is a community of residents, team members, and families that truly care about each other. I cannot wait to continue into the future with everyone and enjoy all the new things to come. This upcoming year will be an exciting one! April of 2022 will make 20 years that Victory Centre of Park Forest has been here and we are excited to celebrate together! I can’t wait to party with old faces and learn the new ones. We truly appreciate anyone who takes the time to stop by and especially those we put their faith in us. Thank you

My experience with Victory Centre has been excellent. My mom was getting moved and I was out of state. They helped me with anything I needed and moved mountains to accommodate my mom. I have to communicate from out of state on a regular basis and they are always responsive to me. Jennifer, the Director, is amazing, as well as Paul and the Activiities Coordinator (whom I met with personally). These individuals just mentioned are on top of the situations and have gone out of their way for us. Staff I have heard my mom talk about have been helpful and supportive to my mom. I also hired a special assistant for my mom that goes there every couple of weeks to help my mom go shopping, etc. We found ourselves in a dire, immediate situation of relocation for my mom and it has been a relief that she is safe and adjusted. Thank you Victory!

I had just moved my Mom in to Victory Centre of Park Forest Assisted Living this past weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and Paul to help guide me through the admissions process quickly and easily. Upon moving Mom in, I met many staff and everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. The professionalism of the nursing staff, the front desk gal, to the paperwork signing with Director Austlyn, has all been a great experience. My Mom is in a nicely appointed room that is clean and neat. There was one slight issue in the room, and maintenance came up quickly to resolve the issue and were very professional. The staff are taking extra COVID precautions and I feel better knowing that my Mom will be safe here. So far, Mom is enjoying the food and getting to know the other residents and looking forward to participating in new activities.

My mom recently moved in to Victory Centre of Park Forest and I have been so impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. The dining staff, particularly Alfio, were especially welcoming during the first weeks after she moved in, and the nurses and LEAs have been extremely helpful as my mom gets used to her new daily routine. I also really appreciate Austlyn, Jennifer, and Melissa taking the time to make sure my mom has felt included in the activities and checking in from time to time to see that she is settling in comfortably to her apartment. I feel like the VC Park Forest team cares about my moms well-being, and I hope she will be very happy there!

I have been visiting a friend who resides at VC of Park Forest since 2013. Under the direction of their current director, Austlyn Uteg, I have seen many positive changes made for the betterment of this assisted living community. She has handled the Covid pandemic crisis in an impressive, organized and effective way. The residents have been kept safe with the help of an efficient, friendly staff, who enjoy working together, and who also work at communicating with the residents families. I feel comfortable and confident about the care my friend receives. He is happy there as well.

I dropped by for a visit with my brother who loved it, especially the food. He is enjoying his wonder years with the friendly and concerned staff. They residents are very helpful and kind too. I feel very comfortable leaving my only big brother in their care. God bless them all!!! The staff was awesome helping with the paperwork and meeting his needs.

I visited this community a couple of weeks ago and I must say that it was nothing short of impressive. My visit was very impromptu so I got a chance to see the community and the staff "off guard". It was so full of life and positive energy in every corner. All of the staff was helpful and went out of there way to accommodate my needs. I have seen many supportive living communities but none have been able to embody warmth and true compassion like this one does. The leadership team there are truly worth their weight in gold!
