I want to sincerely thank Green Oaks for the exceptional care they’ve given my mom. Two years ago, she had a stroke and was diagnosed with earl6 onsetdementia. Since then, Green Oaks and their incredible staff have been by her side, helping her regain independence, adjust her medications, and provide constant, compassionate support. The kitchen staff is amazingshe loves the food”and she’s also much more engaged in activities now. I want to give special thanks to Ja'Cole, Myra, Tasha, the front desk staff, and all the CNAs and all of the therapist everyone’s support has made such a positive difference in her life. Hi ---sorry but we have a problem here...,.it's about the food. Service in dinning room they come to work late after 7:10am and food is bad when I moved in a year half it was good .I don't way Alot of people don't come to eat .I mean bad....it's like if you say something you did wrong.or not happy that you said something about it..... We have for the most 12/to15 people to eat.and80/we have chicken,and Alot of time it's fish, where is other food.what they put on menu we sometimes they always change it help us......

So sorry when I moved in here all staff was all over me .I'm old but I know what going on. The move in person turn.in bad person .Because they had to move me in a defrent room for my breathing problems. I was by dryers? And she was tacking to long to get them to gather for me to sign them./ she was so mad!!!!!! Because I turn her in .so I could move in new room!!!And our activities person sad the 1st. Day she does not like her job she wants to go back to cleaning!I she never does what's on calendar. My problem is she very very close with moving person .the two of them won't talk to me people seen them do that to me .I gave food to Mackey ings to eat She gave them away! And I gave her jelly beans to go in a jar But She ate them All.the2 of them tell others how the don't like me .act person can't drive the bus that s a joke (our life is in your hand I don't go with her. Pull out in front of people. And take the curve s with her.I do not like what they Do to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I said to people here nothing get done!so I want to go higher!I'm not a bad person! They need to have better people running your home .!!and nice people ! When where out the act.person well go out to get Food for her to eat and bring it to her!!!!!! I love it here but 2 people are tacking it Down . No I'm not moving .I'm staying here but I well say the truth about here!!!!!l

I was at VC Park Forest to conduct an advanced care planning program and found the residents and staff very enjoyable! The culture among the staff members was genuinely friendly and very pleasant which in my experience translates to happy residents! A special shout out to Johnell and Jill who were super helpful!

This place is amazing. I had a wonder tour with the sales director Jennifer she was very sweet. She explain everything to me and my family she took her time to make sure we’re comfortable and understood everything about Victory! She was very very professional which I love.

Johnell was amazing © he has great customer service skills. He is friendly very informative he not only help with the front desk but also with keeping thing clean and neat. He showed great leadership as well as a team player. This is one person I can say that has one job but does every job with a smile. Victory Center wouldn’t be the same with out him. My experience with Victory Centre has been excellent. My mom was getting moved and I was out of state. They helped me with anything I needed and moved mountains to accommodate my mom. I have to communicate from out of state on a regular basis and they are always responsive to me. Jennifer, the Director, is amazing, as well as Paul and the Activiities Coordinator (whom I met with personally). These individuals just mentioned are on top of the situations and have gone out of their way for us. Staff I have heard my mom talk about have been helpful and supportive to my mom. I also hired a special assistant for my mom that goes there every couple of weeks to help my mom go shopping, etc. We found ourselves in a dire, immediate situation of relocation for my mom and it has been a relief that she is safe and adjusted. Thank you Victory!

I had just moved my Mom in to Victory Centre of Park Forest Assisted Living this past weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and Paul to help guide me through the admissions process quickly and easily. Upon moving Mom in, I met many staff and everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. The professionalism of the nursing staff, the front desk gal, to the paperwork signing with Director Austlyn, has all been a great experience. My Mom is in a nicely appointed room that is clean and neat. There was one slight issue in the room, and maintenance came up quickly to resolve the issue and were very professional. The staff are taking extra COVID precautions and I feel better knowing that my Mom will be safe here. So far, Mom is enjoying the food and getting to know the other residents and looking forward to participating in new activities.

My mom recently moved in to Victory Centre of Park Forest and I have been so impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. The dining staff, particularly Alfio, were especially welcoming during the first weeks after she moved in, and the nurses and LEAs have been extremely helpful as my mom gets used to her new daily routine. I also really appreciate Austlyn, Jennifer, and Melissa taking the time to make sure my mom has felt included in the activities and checking in from time to time to see that she is settling in comfortably to her apartment. I feel like the VC Park Forest team cares about my mom's well-being, and I hope she will be very happy there!

I have been visiting a friend who resides at VC of Park Forest since 2013. Under the direction of their current director, Austlyn Uteg, I have seen many positive changes made for the betterment of this assisted living community. She has handled the Covid pandemic crisis in an impressive, organized and effective way. The residents have been kept safe with the help of an efficient, friendly staff, who enjoy working together, and who also work at communicating with the resident’s families. I feel comfortable and confident about the care my friend receives. He is happy there as well.

VICTORY CENTRE of PARK FOREST HAVE TWO BUILDINGS. One being AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY and the other a RETIREMENT FACILITY. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. *************************** WAY TOO MANY administrative changes at this facility. The financial managers were stealing the monthly rent money (personal checks), the night time /evening CNA's were also rummaging through the residents belongings and STEALING them as well, (I have a Park Forest police report to prove it), as well as treating the residents very rudely with NO DIGNITY and with a great lack of RESPECT. I've witnessed this on occasional evening visits. I would STRONGLY recommend placing a camera in your loved ones room if they currently live there or are planning on living there. However, the daytime / morning CNA's are SUPER professional, very friendly and courteous. The nurses staff at times were VERY RUDE - as if taking care of these elderly residents were burdens and not people and didn't want to bother with them - yet it's their job to provide medical help and support. During the week the cafeteria staff is beyond EXCELLENT in serving and caring for the residents' food there, except for on the weekends when it seems as though a skeleton crew is working there. Daily activities are ok with an occasional visiting entertainer. Church services every Sunday morning! Holidays are celebrated in a very grand way. It is a clean facility I must say. The maintenance crew is always on top of things 110% and spot on when it comes to dealing with building and apartment issues. The staff members do launder the residents clothing when a resident cannot. Ironically the only professional section aside from the morning CNA's, maintenance and dining staff in my opinion, is the front desk/secretary. This young woman goes out of her way to assist the residents as well as their visiting family member(s) while attending to her own daily responsibilities. I would not recommend this facility for a loved one if you have a choice in facilities. I on the other hand, didn't have the luxury of choosing so in doing so I witnessed first hand ALL the workings of this particular facility and at times was utterly shocked at the mentality, the attitudes and work ethics of the staff there. Hopefully someone else might have a more positive review, however, my review and experience comes from visiting Victory Centre for almost over a decade as well as my own personal career in working with the general public.
