After looking at 5 different facilities in the area, I selected Village at Proprietors Green independent living, for my parents and I'm so glad that I did! The most important thing about VPG is that everyone who works there is so kind, caring, and helpful. They go out of their way to make their residents feel comfortable and cared for. That kindness extends to the residents as well. You can tell that the people who live there are happy and they are so welcoming to new people. My parents made a lot of friends there shortly after moving in. Village at Proprietor's Green has a lot of activities for residents to take part in and there's something to do every day of the week. They have bands come in to entertain 2-3 times per week. There are organized games, activities, book club, bingo, movies, indoor bowling, trips out to local restaurants, church services or transportation to church/temple, etc. There really is something for everyone. The facilities at VPG are beautiful and well maintained. I always feel good when I walk in there to visit my parents. My parents live in the Independent Living side, but there is also an Assisted Living or Memory Care section if the resident needs more services. I highly recommend Village at Proprietor's Green for anyone looking for senior housing!

VPG has been the best place for our mother! She has made many close friendships here and enjoys welcoming new residents so they feel the same. It has a true family feel with ample time for social gatherings and activities, yet at the same time every resident’s private time in their own living space is respected. Thank you, VPG!

As a visiting nurse, I work closely with wellness team, mds and families to coordinate care for residents in every level of care. I would recommend this facility to family and friends for their loved ones. Wellness team is very attentive to all residents needs.

My 89 year-old Dad has progressed from Indepenent Living to Assisted Living and finally to Memory Care at Proprietor's Green. He has been well-cared for throughout the experience and has transitioned well in each instance. Employees are kind and whole-heartedly care about the well-being of the residents. Nancy Cipullo, Memory Care Enrichment Coordinator, is exceptional. She is truly dedicated to her work. Nancy goes above and beyond, in every instance, to reduce worry and anxiety of all residents and family members. Nancy does everything within her power to make every resident comfortable and happy.

The Village At Proprietors Green, specifically the memory care unit where I frequent as a hospice nurse, is a wonderful choice. The staff of nurses, Certified nursing assistants, Activities directors and staff, Jill in housekeeping, and Mike in maintenance , are all invested and committed in providing dignified cared for Their residents. They are a group of skilled, gentle and kind people. I look forward to being there because the environment is positive And there are often fun, lively events going on. It's an enthusiastic group!

when you enter the reception area its quite impressive and extremely clean. You will be warmly greeted by the receptionist. the receptionist will introduce you to the various personnel who will explain to you in a warm and cordial manner the various departments and the function of each one. They will be happy to explain any questions that a new arrival may have. Members of the staff will be happy to outline the respective activities that are available within their department. If you think that you have missed a question, the employees will be more than happy to further review any questions that were unanswered.

My parents have been settled in at VPG for a while now and are thoroughly enjoying the community. The management and staff are super friendly and responsive - the environment is bright and welcoming. There's always something fun to do on the calendar each day. Our family feels quite secure knowing Mum & Dad are comfortable, safe and have absolutely everything they need each day. Our collective experience with everyone at Proprietors Green has been nothing but positive and wonderful!

Proprietor's Green was a wonderful experience for my mom and me. It is a beautiful facility with friendly, caring staff, many daily activities which Mom took advantage of, and a great dining room with many delicious choices. As a person that works in the Alzheimer's Industry Proprietors Green is absolutely amazing when it comes to the care for the residents. I have a friend there and I can't say enough in regards to the care and the amazing staff.

Proprietors Green (the Green as everyone calls it) is a wonderful facility for a family member or loved one. My father has lived there for one year and he enjoys so many aspects of living there. From the management, Tom Bell, Executive Director, Val Williams, Resident Services Manager, Sarah Gillis, (Wellness Director), Cathy Baranofsky (Operations Coordinator), Nurse Maureen, and Dave Clifford, the Executive Chef), all the excellent receptionists, and the dining crew and young staff who work in the dining room, and the list goes on and on of all the wonderful people who work there) and who make the Green a fabulous place for a loved one to live)! Food is excellent, the interior and rooms are well appointed and kept meticulously clean, the grounds of the facility are beautifully maintained, and security of the residents is excellent! The Green has many services (car service if your family member needs a ride to a doctor's appointment, courtesy of Gerry, a wonderful man), nursing care by Maureen, through the wellness office, live music, exercise classes and much more all make the Green the place in the South Shore for your loved one to live!

My sister had lost her husband, was living alone and was not doing well. We felt moving her into a community situation would be good for her. We did quite a bit of research and decided on The Village at Proprietors Green. We hit the jackpot ! All of the staff has been kind and welcoming. She was very welcomed and her mood and attitude changed dramatically for the positive. I should also note that my sister has a "difficult side" ... when that side randomly appeared the staff always helped her with understanding and kindness. My mom was at VPG for 4 years. 1 in assisted living and 3 in the Memory Care area. I can not recommend VPG enough, the care is exceptional. The place is gorgeous but more importantly all the staff is extraordinary. My mom got the best care by loving individuals that truly love what they do. We are so grateful to have my mom's last years spent at VPG. God bless all the staff and their own families for having to share their loved ones with our loved ones.

My parents lived there for ten years. Starting in Independent living. After losing my father, mom moved into Assisted Living and then MC. She was treated with the utmost respect and care. My sister and I were so happy with the care she received. They treated her like family. She had fun, and was loved. And to quote her when she first moved in to Memory Care and I asked her how she felt being there. She said I feel safe. And she was safe, what more do you want?

I know a few of the residents at Proprietors Green and they are very happy to call it their home. They love it ! They love living in a community where they always have friends around them and have made wonderful friends. The staff is always helpful and with a smile and there when they are needed. The management team has done amazing during these tough times and have gone above and beyond in keeping everyone safe. I cant say enough about Proprietors Green.

My parents lived for many years at VPG, in Independent Living, Assisted Living and my mom in Memory Care. I can not say enough about how happy they were living there. They made great friends and loved the socialization. The care and individual attention given to them, especially in MC was outstanding. Having spent so much time in MC visiting with my mom, I can tell you first hand that the care and love she was and all the resident are shown is beautiful. I never once worried about her. She was truly happy, cared for and loved there. I highly recommend this place

My mother was in Memory Care for about 8 months. I thought it was too stimulating and over-the-top for her personality and a more down-to-earth or modest Assisted Living facility would have served her interests better. Unfortunately my siblings had manipulated legal powers and were not very good listeners. After she fell 3 or 4 times in 8 months, my mother was moved to a skilled Nursing home. If you want fancy lodgings, I guess Proprietors would serve that purpose.

My sister in law is enjoying her time in this community. It is a great facility with kind people. All her needs are being met, and she has even made some new friends. I know she is safe, and in good hands. They have good staff, and they have been friendly, and kind. One of our concerns have been that when she needs supplies. It takes them a long time to order it. Also we were told they provided transportation, but when she needs it they are reluctant to provide it. Other than those issues, everything is working out pretty well for her since her move to this community.

I have spent long days as a caregiver (working privately with an agency) for about seven months and thought it was important to share that the staff here always made my experience a great one. From the first day untill my last I made many friends. Furthermore, Proprietors/Allerton is consistently a wonderful location for a resident to call "home".

I visited this place with my parents, who were looking for Independent/ assisted living. This was a beautiful facility, everyone was really nice and welcoming. The residents we spoke to were very happy there. The independent living apartments were upscale and spacious.

It has been a little bumpy at first, but it has all been worked out. The staff is wonderful and does a great job with my uncle. Also he loves to go to the dining area because him and his friends get to talk. The food is good as well. I like that they have so many activities that the residents don't have time to not be active.
