My mom moved into ReverVue a little over 2 months ago. The staff are so caring. There are many great activities and the trips they offer are outstanding. She has a better social life than me now! My parents moved to The Fountains in 2018 after living in another assisted living residence in Westchester County. Even with my mom's declining health, the staff at The Fountains never made my parents feel unwelcome the way the other facility did. On the contrary: this administration, staff and support team were always caring and accommodating. After my mom passed, my dad continued to be surrounded by the kind of warmth you'd expect from a facility looking after seniors. Also, I always felt the communication with Ariel and other staff members was courteous and professional. Finally, shout out to Joy the med-tech, and Keisha in the reception area who greets everyone with a smile and uplifting attitude.

I am the Director of Memory Care at the Fountains at Rivervue. The Residents under my care receive around the clock care from our kind, nurturing Care Givers who have been educated on the finer points of Memory Care. We have Care Givers who have been with the Fountains at Rivervue for over 15 years. These Care Givers are committed to assisting our Memory Care residents and families with all things Memory Care and beyond. Our Memory Care residents are extremely active with life enriching activities such as gardening, painting, baking, pet therapy, summertime BBQs, yoga, Zumba, visiting musical entertainers, casino night and much more. Our Memory Care residents go out of the Memory Care Community here at the Fountains 2 times per week to events such as plays on Broadway in NYC, Concerts, the Bronx Zoo, Glen Island State Park, Apple picking , Pumpkin picking, and plenty of other enjoyable activities that our residents enjoy. Our Memory Care Associates go above and beyond to give our Memory Care Residents a great quality of life.

The Fountains Assisted Living Facility is a place you or your loved one can call home from the moment you walk through the front door. The concierge is bright, welcoming and will assist you in areas of need. The entire staff from department heads, nursing team, recreation department, maintenance team, kitchen staff and cleaning crew work together to make sure the residents are happy, safe and supported in any way possible. The Fountains at Rivervue also have a great therapy program through Fox Rehab with two in house therapists including a Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist that are qualified to treat and meet the needs for all residents.

My brother and I went through a very frightening experience when our Mother had a stroke a few weeks ago. When she was released from the hospital I called Monica and Christine at The Fountains at River Vue. They were amazing. River Vue is a beautiful community. After talking with Monica and Christine giving them all the details about our Mom and what she needed, they were a true sense of calm in our chaos. I couldn't recommend The Fountains at River Vue enough but most importantly the wonderful people who work there!

My cousin, age 94, recently moved into a lovely apartment at The Fountains at RiverVue. Well, she has not stopped talking about how much she enjoyed her encounter with the baby kangaroo at a recent event held outdoors there. She said that at age 94, one rarely has a brand new experience, but petting a baby kangaroo was definitely a first for her. The Fountains at Rivervue is a facility that I would recommend in many ways. From the first day my husband was welcomed by friends, and interested by the great choice of activities and entertainments that are proposed every day to residents. They have their meals in a real restaurant with a menu, and ''the food is delicious'' , All and every spaces are well maintained and clean. Doctors, medical and paramedical services are great,. After visiting a few places, I decided to place my mother at The Fountains at RiverVue. I was worried that my mother wont like living in an Assistance living place but the Fountain change all that. She been living there only a short while but has praise about the staff on how they are very attentive to her needs, their friendliness and always making sure she is not in need of anything. The food has been excellent (my mother is very picky as to what she eats). She has asked me how I every found this place and is very grateful I did. The Fountains has become a wonderful home for my mother. She loves the comfort and privacy of her own apartment, has made good friends and feels safe and secure. The Fountains staff sees to all of this, with a diverse offering of outside and in-house activities and such daily support services as she requires.When she was not longer able to manage living alone, we helped her choose an assisted living facility as a new home. My siblings and I are very happy with how the Fountains enables our mother to continue to thrive.We can confirm many of the other positive reviews.As for negative reviews, I can only state that assisted living solutions work best when family stays involved and regularly communicate with staff. Our mother could move elsewhere, but she cannot imagine a better place than the Fountains as her permanent home.

My Aunt lived at the fountains and there is something about this place that makes you feel like you are home with family! When you first walk in you are greeted by the most amazing living angel on earth her name is Keisha! I have never met anybody so kind and so sincere and genuine and her love all the guests that live there! She is an amazing person! She always gave me comfort and great advice! My parents moved into The Fountains in 2016, after I researched and visited multiple assisted living facilities in the Westchester area. I liked the homey feel here, as opposed to the other places that looked more like a facility. My mother passed in 2017 after a decade long illness and was always treated well by the nursing staff and aides, especially Cassie (shes the best!). My father continues to enjoy living there because there is always something for him to do or someone to hang out with, enjoys the quiet time sitting on the patio, and devours the meals. While he doesnt require an aide at this stage everybody is always keeping an eye on him and just really sweet to him, so that is a huge peace of mind for me. Special shout-out to the kitchen staff who always know what he wants to order; Reaghan for always keeping the residents busy with fun stuff, even during the quarantine; and Keisha, the absolute heart and soul of the place.

The decision to have my mom live there 5 1/2 years ago has proven to be the best decision we have ever made. During regular times there are many activities and interaction among residents, There are trips to the bank, post office, library and supermarket for those who need it. There are outside trips to the movie theater etc. My review is for during this horrible pandemic we have all been through. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Monica the Executive Director for her weekly email updates. Reghan for keeping everyone in touch via face time or Zoom or anyway she could. Chandra & Chi for keeping them smiling and happy. Claudette for your meal planning and the kitchen staff to make sure all meals were perfect and that they were all delivered to their rooms on time. Keisha for your patience and humor at the front desk. All the caregivers and maintenance staff and all those that I do not know by name I can only say THANK YOU for the care that you all gave at this terrible time. This staff came through at the most difficult time in all our lives. What a difference 4 or 5 months can make. If I were reviewing the Fountains a year ago, I would give it very good marks for quality of care and the great staff attitude. However, with multiple changes in the Senior Management - including both the Director and Nursing Department Manager, the quality and feel of the facility have nosedived. This appears to be reflected in the significant reduction in occupancy rate. Highly recommend you keep looking.

My father has been there only eight days now, but in that short a period of time he has come to regard The Fountains at RiverVue as not only a great choice in assisted living, but a home in place of home. The entire staff made his transfer from his home of 60 years (after a detour through hospital and rehab) a painless experience. He is very happy about the food and dining (we agree, after enjoying Father's Day evening in their dining room!) and that makes him very happy. We know he is safe and being well cared for. His apartment is spacious enough and has a terrific view of not only the gardens but the village center of Tuckahoe and the river (Yes, it's true -- "a river runs through it!") as well. We hope his stay continues happy and without any miscues.

My great aunt lives at The Fountains and I can't say enough about the place and all of the staff there. What an amazing place! Residents are always well taken care of and happy. Every time I go there the residents are always doing the various activities going on there. I stayed once for an art history lecture that is given monthly by the Director of the New York Arts Exchange and I was so impressed. Choosing the right Assisted Living facility for a loved one is a hugely consequential decision. I could not have done better than my choice of the Fountains. My 84 year old aunt moved to the Fountains in 2015. She had recently come out of extended rehab, was weak and under weight, and no longer able to live alone. As with most families that are new to assisted living, I didn't quite know what to expect with such a dramatic transition for my spirited and independent aunt. The results were both surprising and heart warming. Not only did my aunt return to a healthy weight, her interaction with the active community at the Fountains revealed a different side of her personality that was more engaged and confident and happy than I had seen in many years. My aunt regularly bragged about apartment cleaning and laundry service, enjoyed the shuttle service to local stores and took up new hobbies. None of this was an accident. While the Fountains management is made up of departments, they work together as a seamless, integrated whole, ensuring that each resident is given the best opportunity to enjoy life with dignity and respect. I was an engaged family member, and was pleased and gratified that Fountains' staff were readily available for consults or to answer questions. To a person, they are courteous, professional and dedicated. In that regard, I would like to recognize the Fountains' Executive Director, Stephanie. In a previous role at the Fountains, Stephanie became an indispensable component in assisting with management of my aunt's well being. She is smart, experienced, pro-active, and deeply empathetic. Indeed, Stephanie was as much a resource to me as she was to my aunt. As Executive Director, Stephanie brings these qualities to the management of the whole facility, which should provide all resident families with comfort and confidence. This kind of dedication extends to each of the Fountain' staff. Keisha, who manages the front desk, is a larger-than-life personality whose optimism, patience and humor sets a tone for guests and residents alike, rooted in a deep professionalism and caring. Amenities are often showcased as the lead attraction in assisted living facilities. They are certainly important, and the Fountains has its share of standouts. But the true worth of a facility are in its people. Experienced, caring, dependable, responsible. The Fountains has mastered the magic to make this crucial piece work for its residents, and it is why the Fountains should be a first stop if you are choosing assisted living for yourself or a family member.

I have been on the search for the right place for weeks and seeing everyplace in Westchester and parts of NJ, I have decided on the Fountains at Rivervue for so many reasons. Having toured a couple times with Michael and Christine and even the administrator David, I couldn't be happier with my decision to move my mom here. They have been so welcoming and honest from the beginning. None of that sales talk but honest and comforting conversations putting me at ease knowing my mother will be in great hands. The food has been by far the tastiest and a true restaurant experience. The staff are friendly and so helpful in all areas. Most importantly my mom is loving it more and more each day and throwing herself into activities, trips and building friendships with her neighbors.
