My aunt is a resident of Care Partners Assisted Living in Oconto. We chose it because of the availability. The staff is excellent, and they are very nice. She is in a big one room with its own bathroom and closet. It is a large room that you can put your couch in, and the other half of it is the bedroom. It is very nice. They have bingo, coloring, and all kinds of different activities. I did not have a meal, but I sat with her while she had meals. She likes her meals very much. I think it's more expensive, but assisted living is expensive.

We chose Care Partners Assisted Living in Oconto, because I know other people that are there and it's local. It's not too far from my home, so I can just run over and see my dad. It's very convenient and he enjoys it there. They keep the place fairly clean and the staff has been very good. They checked on him frequently and gave him his medication. They have an area that he can go to and use their stuff and they also do activities, like exercising and music.

A Place For Mom
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I like the fact that the community is small, and the residents get more individualized care. It is easier for the residents to make friends. The rooms are nice size. They keep the community clean. They are receptive questions and concerns.

I went to Care Partners Assisted Living in Oconto. My issue with them was they were far away, and I wanted my uncle to be placed close to where I live. The price for us was a little high, but it was a wonderful tour, and everyone was very helpful and very knowledgeable. They had a very large room where you could place a double bed, a full couch, and maybe a living room chair, so it was a living room/bedroom combination and then a bathroom. The rooms were very, very nice.
