The staff was very kind and nice to my brother and I! They coordinated for us to bring our ice cream truck where we gave out ice cream and played music while the seniors came out and enjoyed the weather, music, and some ice cream!

I worked at the front desk for several months and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I became friends with the residents and staff. There is a close, community feeling. The staff has a caring attitude with the residents and each other. I miss being there. The residents also care for each other and many are good friends. The administration spends long and extra hours making sure that everything runs smoothly.

My mother was a member of the Abbington community for 3 years. From the beginning to the end we felt she was well cared for and respected by all. If our family ever had an issue, it was immediately addressed. From the top down people take their jobs seriously and to heart, many going above and beyond. We recommend the Abbington at Heber City if you are looking for an Assisted living commmunity for your loved one.

My mother was a resident in the Abbington for the last month of her life. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. The atmosphere is beautiful, the residents are happy and friendly and the Staff is amazing. An excellent chef and his staff prepare the food. The Nurse and CCNAs treated Mom with respect, professionalism, care and dignity. Thank you to all who helped make her transition a peaceful one.

The Abbington in Heber is an amazing place. I enjoyed the years I worked there with the amazing residents and staff. Candyce is one of the most caring people I know. She goes above and beyond to make sure her residents are taken care of. If you are looking for a place to have a loved one live give her a call, you wont regret it.

The Abbington in Heber is seriously amazing! The staff there are so friendly and helpful, the building itself is absolutely gorgeous! We moved my great grandmother in several years ago and she loved the time she spent there, she was always saying how she made such great friends and how kind the CNAs were to her. I will highly recommend to anyone who asks!

Professional, friendly, caring staff. Management solicits suggestions from residents, truly listens, and takes action much of the time. Apartments are comfortable, well-maintained, and staff promptly fix anything that isn't working right. Internet connection is rather slow, although that's a complaint heard most often from residents' grandchildren--most residents seem to find the Internet adequate. There is a nice sense of community among the residents, staff, and family members. Don't expect to win though if you join a card game or play bingo--these ladies and gentlemen are good!

A true asset to the community! It is a beautiful place. Going that extra mile for the residents with lots of events. The Saturday I was there was a car show they could come out and enjoy. Candyce Meriwether sitting and talking everyone into buying a raffle ticket. She and all the employees are all so very kind & always willing to help.

The Abbington is absolutely beautiful and Candyce is an amazing person, she goes over and beyond not only for her residents but for the entire community!!!! They couldnt have picked a better marketing director. My kids love all the free events that are offered to the public throughout the year !!!!!

We moved our mom to The Abbington just over a month ago. I can't even describe the calmness that has came over her. She is in memory care and has met so many wonderful friends there. The residents watch out for one another and the staff is so great. She transitioned so smoothly. I am so greatful for their service. They truly care for their residents.

After my 90 year old father passed away in Florida, my similarly aged mother opted to move from their home in Florida to an apartment at the Abbington in Heber. She was permitted to decorate it with her furniture, cherished paintings, and family photos. It became her home and the community of residents and staff were loving family. She loved the activities provided, particularly the music programs; we loved the activities provided. A healthcare plan was created to help her achieve her goals. She embarked upon an exercise program to improve balance and endurance. Despite being frail, with help she was able to remain independent with the facilities assistance. It allowed me the opportunity to again spend quality time with my mother and for her to have a life that is much more enriching than when she lived independently.
