The rent is increasing and care is decreasing. Nursing staff is being cut with nurses and care managers covering a floor and a half. Most of my friends are trying to find a new place to live. It looks beautiful, we wish funds were going to resident's care.

Caring , compassionate staff. Always very friendly and helpful. Ken always goes out of his way to assist my mother, and me when I have something to get to her room. Today I brought her a new recliner. Ken was more than helpful moving it up there and with the assembly. Great staff.

I have a friend who works at The Rivers. I also visited there to see a resident. It is a very inviting and a beautiful home for senior residents. The rooms are very nice and have a comfortable and homey feeling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of care for a loved on. I also hear the food is really good

The remodel at The Rivers at Maryland Farms is absolutely beautiful! I have a loved one that resides there and she can't speak enough on how nice it is there and how attentive, caring, and loving the staff is! Excellent choice and would highly recommend The Rivers at Maryland Farms.

The Rivers has been a gift for my mother and her husband. One is in the Memory Care unit and the other is in the Assisted Living unit. The Rivers has made it possible for them to spend their days together and the staff managers, nurses, and aides have been kind in caring for my mother. Cassandra, the Memory Care manager, has been especially wonderful; it always makes me happy to see her when I visit and she is very responsive when I call with a question or concern.

I visited Rivers at Maryland Farms a couple of weeks ago and I must say I was so impressed. It's such a beautiful place, and everyone seems so friendly and caring. The director, Stacy, answered all of my questions and talked with me about all of the renovations that have been going on. I was impressed that she took the time with me that she did. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, caring place for their parent to call home…

This is a beautiful home with all the new renovations. It's welcoming and peaceful. All the residents seemed very happy with big smiles. The staff is amazing and the new director Stacy Martinez is fabulous. Ms.Martinez very insightful of all that is done there she really makes you feel comfortable and at ease. It's hard to place a family member in a facility, not knowing how they will be treated and cared for. Ms. Martinez and her staff make this step a lot less stressful. They have all sorts of activities going on and music playing. It's just a very cheerful place to send someone you love for the very best care.

While we were there visiting family member. They were doing complete upgrades of carpet and painting. We took her home one evening and they were tearing the carpets out and the next morning when we went to pick her up, they were brand new. It has a wonderful front porch for people to sit outside and read in the shade. The staff members were very kind. As we were leaving one, stopped us and asked us questions about our family member, so that they could have better conversations with her due to her having short-term memory loss.

From the beginning of my Mom's residence the professionalism and compassion demonstrated by the staff has been exceptional. If and when I have issues they are addressed promptly, professionally and with my Mom's best interest at heart. My mother in law is in memory care. She doesn't know the family and she sleeps a lot. The caregivers are very patient with her and they are friendly to us also. We have seen the caregivers in action when Clementine has been hateful and demanding and they are so good with her. I am glad she has that level of care

I can’t say enough about the people that work here. I have worked any many nursing homes/assisted living facilities and I’ve never been so impressed. The facility itself is amazing but the staff make it what it is! One of the managers filled in and cooked when a chef called out. Their care team is so amazing and I sleep better knowing my mom has so many people looking out for her when I can’t be there all the time. To name a few Crystal is an absolute gem and came in and hugged my mom the second she realized she was moving in. Claudia made a stressful process breezy and is the kindest person ever. They all go above and beyond though. My dad died a few months ago so this was not an easy move by any means but they have been looking out for my mom and our family since day one. Love them so much!

I checked my mother in to brighton gardens in November of last year. The facility is very nice and nurses also. However my mom within the first 3 days got upset and tried to walk away. The director then gave me a choice to put her in memory care or pay a full time sitter to be with her. They told me I would be able to move her back once things settled down and assured me they would be able to get her to "settle in" within 30 days.Well not so easy to do. Had to have several dr visits and a plan for getting her to integrate. I don't feel they tried hard to do this and I had to follow up constantly. After 2.5 months nothing improved. I was told by a medical person that this was not the first time they saw someone get moved to the higher priced memory care area that did not need to be there. Finally I moved her to another facility where she has done very well. To top it off they overbilled us by $1,600 and I have provided a reconciliation, and tried calling but cannot get a return call from the director, and corporate office is hard to get a number for. Could be a great place but only for someone who does not have a lot of needs and who will have consistent family members visiting. Use caution and validate billing monthly.

5 stars isn’t enough. Brighton Gardens is always incredibly clean, residents are all smiles when I go in and the staff is more than friendly and caring with the residents. The food is fantastic! They exceed my expectations in every way!

Brighton Gardens was a wonderful experience for my family. I cared for my mother for three years in my home. If you have never been a care giver for a dementia stricken person you may not realize how challenging, frustrating and exhausting it is and what a great place Brighton is. They were always kind, always tiring to engage my mother areas of her interest. For example, we have hundreds of watercolor paintings mom painted while at Brighton. They made certain she attended the crossword and bocce ball events because she enjoyed those particular activities. When my mother passed they cried with us and reminded us of the good things about mother that were easy to forget because of her illness. I am so thankful that we had Brighton to help. I couldnt have managed without them.

We recently had to place a loving family member into the care of Brighton Garden in Brentwood. We cannot expressed enough how pleased with the care and love that our family member received. Gail and Adrienne were a big part of the excellent care she received as well as all staff members. We have observed several care giving facilities but Brighton is a top notch facility that truly loves their residents. May God bless this facility and its employees for their kindness, respect, care and love for our loved ones. Fantastic facility!❤

Our sister moved to Brighton Gardens for the last few months of her life as she went into Hospice care. We were simply amazed, and very grateful, for the joyful quality of life Brighton Gardens made possible for her. Every member of the staff, from the administrators and management, through the room care and dining service teams, were unfailingly warm, responsive and supportive. Gail oversaw the care levels as my sister's needs changed. Adrienne runs a wonderful and varied activities program and engaged my sister (a former recreation director) in helping plan new games and activities for the residents. Brian's menus are varied and healthy, and the food is very good; my sister had favorite dishes she especially looked forward to. The rooms and common areas are kept clean and bright. Medications and services were administered carefully and as needed, in cooperation with Hospice. My sister established friendships and caring relationships with residents as well as staff. We will always be grateful to Brighton Gardens for making our loved one's last months so comfortable and happy, beyond all our expectations.

My family member has lived at this facility for almost 6 months now, and we could not be happier. For someone that could no longer live on their own safely, this was the perfect option for us. Whenever we have any questions, they are always addressed timely and to our satisfaction.
