My mother is a resident at Diamond House and she could not be happier. The care is outstanding and she is very happy. There is always a nurse or care aide in very close proximity of my mom, which gives her peace of mind. She enjoys the meals and is very happy and content with the environment and the skilled, friendly, helpful and caring staff. As well, there is an indoor greenhouse which she enjoys immensely, an art room, games/puzzle room, fitness room and plenty of room to go for a long walks, and lots of lounge areas to watch a show or movie. Other residents have been very welcoming to her and she is enjoying the conversations. As well, staff are very good with engaging with my mom and checks on her often. I visit with my mom everyday and see for myself how wonderful this place is. Highly recommended.

What I recommend about Diamond House when one moves in the staff is very friendly, they make you feel at home, your home. Husband and wife stay together in the same room till the end of life.this is very important, one should have loved ones near even one is taking their last breath. Freedom to come and go, have coffee with family and friends. We all greet each other as old friends, go to outings and programs, it’s a greet place to be, sometimes a person needs this kind of care, family cannot be with their parents all the time .the Honer walk after a family death made us feel very blessed and special, what a lovely send off . My Dad has been a resident since December 2016. He loves it there! When we visit Dad the staff always makes us feel welcome! They always have a smile on their face. Some of the staff even sing 🙂 The place is always clean. The times that we have joined Dad for supper with everyone - the food has been great! I love the way they treat my Dad with respect and they genuinely care for him. They tease him and give him a hard time which he loves. I also appreciate the play area for the kids - it keeps them happy and quiet! Huge huge thank you to the staff for making my Dad and us feel like at home!

We toured several care homes for our sister but after seeing Diamond House, it was unanimous this was where she had to be. We all loved the spiritual atmosphere and family feel of the home. The building is beautiful but it's the people whom we've met that work there that make it special. Our sister is loving her new home, enjoying the wonderful meals and the special care she's receiving.
