Thieves, don’t trust this place. They don’t care about anything but money and not the patients. They will steal their belongings and open fraudulent credit accounts.

A chair has been holding my mother's French doors closed for almost a year & I've asked repeatedly for it to be fixed. Have also asked for my mother to get help bathing weekly, which is an offered service, but that never happens and she smells awful and has sores all over her arms and legs because of it. Garbage is emptied but help the time no replacement bag put in so the can becomes disgusting. I visit once a week & usually take home 2 baskets of laundry with me. I have no number to call this place in off hours if my mom isn't answering her phone and I'm worried. I left a positive review after they changed hands because I was asked to but have removed it. I have other issues and am looking into just moving her in with me. The people who work here are very nice and I appreciate that. She doesn't need constant care and at least I could feed her and help her shower for much less than nearly $5,000 a month.

As a resident of the Magnolia at the Commons, the care provided here has exceeded my expectations, as well as those of my family. Much needed physical therapy was quickly provided 'in house', as well as a daily exercise class which is excellent and provides appropriate seated exercise, range of motion exercises, and balance strengthening. There are numerous daily activities throughout the day, and a strong sense of community. The atmosphere here is very positive and upbeat. The food is excellent and balanced with a chef who takes pride in providing food which appeals to all residents. My family and I have been more than pleased with our choice for me to reside at the Magnolia. karen Winter

The Magnolia in Oxford is an exceptional place. It gives a very warm, holy feeling and has a huge spacious dining area. Walking in the door, the front desk always treats you with kindness. The residents always seem happy, and the staff from top to bottom take pride in what they do. Rooms are very spacious and kept very clean.

Very nice place, enjoyed working with Edward in the beginning. The Staff is very courteous & good attitudes. Mom seems to need a little more attention now in the Memory Care on the days Sanctuary Hospice doesn't come. She has gone down some, since February. Thanks

Just recently my mother suffered a fall as she entered the dining room. In the fall she broke her right arm and damaged her right orbital socket. Instantaneously, the nursing staff was at her side along with a resident who was knowledgeable in assessing injuries. It was as though these individuals had worked together previously. The nurse worked to control the bleeding and the skillful resident worked to reassure my mom that everything was going to be ok and to remain as still as she could. Upon returning from the hospital the management team met and worked with us to ensure that my mom had everything she needed. I am very confident that the staff at The Magnolia are very concerned about the residents and that they work to ensure that their needs are met.

When this was the Blake, it was wonderful. Now, under Grace Management, it has gone downhill. Inconsistent heat and air working. No hot water for a month following a main break. Poor communication. Poor care. Beware.

The Magnolia at Oxford Commons is the perfect place for my mother. She is surrounded by new friends, an excellent staff, and endless opportunities to still live a full and independent life. From haircuts and movie nights to physical therapy and daily devotionals, the Magnolia is an example to communities across the U.S that there is always another place to call home. I am grateful to see my mother thriving and, most of all, safe and happy. See the below photo for the monthly flower arranging class. It is always a hit with the ladies!

Tha Magnolia at Oxford Commons is the best assisted living facility I has seen. I have had 3 family members in assisted living facilities and The Magnolia is by far the best. Food is great. Staff members are caring and always available to answer a question or help in any way they can. I would live here. You get 3 meals a day, your apartment cleaned weekly and your laundry done. Wonderful facility!

The Magnolia at Oxford Commons is excellent! The administration/leadership is kind, caring, and very responsive. The activities that are offered are excellent-they are many and varied. Families are included and welcoming. The building, common areas, and rooms are clean, well kept, and really beautiful. The atmosphere/environment is upbeat, happy, and positive! My sister has lived there for 5 years and she loves it!
March 2022
My mother who is very independent is very happy living at the Magnolia. When she moved in she was in a wheel chair with a broken vertebrae. The excellent physical therapy group now has her walking with very little assistance with a cane. Mom loves all the field trips and activities that are planned in and away from the Magnolia. Rebecca plans all the activities and does an outstanding job. She also takes the group to Kroger and Walmart when needed and stays with them the entire time inside the store. She is amazing. The Magnolia also takes her to her doctors appointments, hair appointments, etc. I live 7 hours away and it's very difficult for me to be there for her. She brags on the very caring and attentive nursing staff. They dispense her medicine for her reorder prescriptions, etc. mom loves the dining service, she can sit down with her friends and order from a menu for all three meals which are excellent by the way. I have had a few meals there myself. She loves having her apartment cleaned every week and her bed changed too. Mom is thriving at the Magnolia and I am at peace that she is not living in her home alone. I highly recommend the Magnolia with the exceptional administration, nursing, etc. you will be very happy but mostly your aging parent will too.

Beautiful community. Caring associates and residents.
January 2022
We decided to move mom to The Magnolia from a different assisted living facility in town. We could not be more pleased with this community. From the day she moved in, she was welcomed by everyone. From the director to the patient assistants, everyone seems to be tuned in to the residents' needs. The nursing staff is excellent, always going the extra mile to provide the best care possible. The activities planned both on and off campus are engaging and fun for everyone. When you know you're leaving your vulnerable parent in the hands of others, you want to know in your heart they are being cared for in the best way possible. I get that feeling from everyone at The Magnolia.

Our Mother was very comfortable at The Blake for a year and 1-2. The activites and convienences were exceptional. Everything was in house including PT, hairdressing, and meals if needed delivered to her room. The staff was very professional and gave her great care which we appreciated very much. Would recommend The Blake to anyone, needing that care.

Great place to work! I enjoy working with my coworkers and taking care of my residents
September 2016
I am a resident at The Blake. I have not seen any facility push so hard to get their residents the care, the attention, spiritual contentment, or any need met. I lost my husband a year ago and suffered a stroke myself soon after. I have made new friends here as well as feeling "genuinely" loved...all of this from basically a state of hopelessness. I am still making small strides in becoming the person I felt was lost, so help yourself to recover who you were and bless your family and learn to laugh again...life isn't over just because God has blessed you with a long life.

I was blessed to be there with Steve McGregory. It was breath- taking. Very nice people and Staff. Enjoyed it so much!
