After being here about 6 weeks I can honestly say, "I wish I had moved on over 2 years ago" when my wife went into a care home. The staff here are honest and wonderful. The serve staff are so polite and helpful. The food and selection are top notch. I have never had a bad meal here and that is saying something as I am very picky! I have never had to cook anything in my studio apartment, however, I brought WAY TOO MUCH stuff, from my 2 bedroom apartment, that is not needed. Come, see Anna, take a tour and have a free lunch. Now with this glowing review, I must state, I am NOT employed by Atria, River Heights Terrace and the statements above are my true and honest feelings. Frequently I ask my table mates "have I died and gone to heaven!!" ?

It’s a fantastic place to live. The people are lovely and the staff are fantastic and so helpful. It’s always very clean and the food is good. It’s also a lovely setting! The view and area is beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It is a good place to live, good security. The food is reasonably good, perhaps they can do a better job with the fish. Otherwise, it is very good all the way around, except for the rent increases.

As a daughter of a resident, I appreciate how RHT operates. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the residents. The suites are bright and cozy, and the whole building is clean and welcoming. You can tell the staff take pride in maintaining a high standard and attention to detail. Whether it’s the dining room staff or management, everyone goes the extra mile. One of the things we appreciate is the variety of activities offered, there is always something engaging going on if you’re looking for something to do. We feel confident knowing Darla is managing the facility. She is approachable, professional, and has a heart for the people living there. It’s clear she leads with both compassion and competence. We are happy with the place my mom chose to live.

Living in Riverheights has been an extremely positive experience for my parents. My sisters and I particularly enjoy the facility to stay in the guest suite when we visit. The staff are uniformly welcoming and professional. There is a wide range of activities with guest performers coming to the complex and organised excursions as well.

we are in transition from moving from our own home in another province to Riverheights Terrace - Darla has been ever so helpful answering my many questions and going above to help accommodate any concerns we are having. This will be a new way of living for us but looking forward to getting settled in our new home

My parents have lived at Riverheights for a couple months now. Of course, it is an adjustment but they are thriving. Excellent staff, food and activities. They are really enjoying all of the entertainment (especially music/bands that come in) and socializing. I know staff have already had a meeting with residents about food options, thoughts etc. which is wonderful. We have joined them for a couple of meals and they are delicious. One of them was this turkey dinner my daughter took a picture of because she was blown away by the food. A pharmacy recently opened inside and there is also a salon. My parents are looking forward to the summer months so they can enjoy their patio and the walking paths around the building. They have everything they could ever need in one place and when they want to explore somewhere else, their transit shuttle will get them there and back. Best decision!

I came to Riverheights Terrace 5 years ago since then the food and services have have gone down hill, lots of salt in food , no choice in milk substitutes , rents starting to get out of control. If you move here make sure your needs as a senior are put into writing because once your on here they don't care
