My mom moved in three days ago and is thrilled with the incredible service, genuine friendliness of the staff, the responsiveness of the awesome maintenance team that helped her to put up pictures and drapes, and the other residents have been so welcoming. I would highly recommend this location for any senior looking for a maintenances free, comfortable and friendly environment!

My mom has lived at Independence Village of Zionsville West for over four years. I am her daughter, and the person who oversees her care. It makes my heart sing to see how kind and loving everyone is towards my mom. When the care staff come to dispense medications to her or assist her in other ways, they enter smiling, singing, and sometimes even dancing! They have taken the time to get to know my mom. That one to one loving contact is so important. Jim, the executive director, is another person who is very helpful and kind. He makes sure things are running smoothly, and he is very open to talk with families to ensure your loved one is happy and being cared for. He frequents the dinning room to talk with the residents to ensure their happiness as well and typically comes in while singing a song. Tina is the head nurse and in charge of the care staff. Things have been running so well since she took charge. I can contact her day or night when or if an issue arises, and she's on it! I have gained a lot of trust in my mom's care since she has been in charge. Beverly, in the dinning room makes my mom a special coffee drink when I can't get her a frappe. She's so sweet about it, even when she's extremely busy. She always goes above and beyond. Travis is the activity director and Jack of All Trades! He's always happy and helpful, and he plans great activities. Typically, he goes all out on all the Holidays, including Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day…… They're always something fun going on! The front desk folks are lovely as well. I have gotten to know Debra, Justin, and Jennifer because of the time of day I come in. They always greet me by name and ask about my mom. It just feels good from the second I step in. Maybe I shouldn't have included names, because there are so many more that I haven't mentioned. Just know that your loved one will be in great hands. Above all……my mom is happy at Independence Village of Zionsville West. If she's happy, I'm happy!

The day I walked in Independence Village Zionsville West I was amazed at the beautiful decor and how much it was like home. The staff in all the departments are so friendly and helpful. They take the time to not only visit with the Residents but the family members too. The Wellness Team has a wonderful group of employees. The new Wellness Director, Tina and her Assistant Wellness Director Tawanna are by far the best Nursing Management Team I have had experience with. They should have a nickname of "TNT" cause they are the bomb!!!!

The facility is always clean, the staff is friendly and the memory care director Haley is the best. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the food. The food served in the memory care is less than appealing. I have been there doing meal time on numerous occasions and the residents just eat because it is there. Unfortunately, my loved one is losing weight due to not being Interested in the options.i think if they were served vat cracker barrel.I have also spoken to othe families who have loved ones residing in memory care and they agree the food is too sophisticated for their palates.

My aunt recently moved in to Anson Senior Living whom I have assisted with caregiving on and off for a couple of years. Obviously 2020 is not a normal year but Anson has gone above and beyond to make my family feel at ease. I truly believe 2020 has made the experience more difficult for family members that it has for the loved one moving in. With that said, the openness to answer questions, assist with phone calls, and more has not gone unnoticed. While still early in transition, it has been positive so far thanks to the staff at Anson. I hope it continues on the path for years to come.

During my time at Anson I felt our staff truly loved our residents and wanted to keep them connected with families during these unprecedented times. The atmosphere was very embodying in the sense that it felt like more than just a job. I was able to create real, lasting relationships with residents and collogues. I felt the entire community, and staff alike adapted to the challenges faced from the pandemic due to the diligence from everyones fortified efforts to keep our residents and staff safe. It is with a heavy heart that I had to leave from Anson.

The building is amazing, we refer to it as the Resort, not a senior living facility. But, most importantly, the Staff is INCREDIBLE. I have been in property management for 27 years, and to have an entire team with the professionalism and caring attitude this group has, is amazing. They all go above and beyond to make the residents feel welcome, and at home. And, they treat the families the same way. Even the food is fantastic! There are always fun, and creative activities. So many senior living buildings cant think beyond bingo and coloring, which is almost degrading. We cannot say enough (positive) about this community! Keep up the GREAT work!

My grandmother moved into Anson Senior Living at the beginning of the year. Leading up to our decision to move her- we were scared and anxious even though we put a safe face on for her. Let me say, she has adjusted so well thanks in part to the staff and really her overall experience.The building design and colors are well thought out and inviting... a modern classy feel which is nice to come home to. Not stuck up, yet elegant. You can really tell that a lot of thought is put into everything they offer.The staff have been so friendly and accommodating in all departments from move in day to now. I feel comfortable visiting and eating with her and she is happy to show off her place. Its a hard decision but worth it.

Behind the seen however, is staff gossip an bullying going on.clucking hens picking for dirt!Not taking part of defacing a co -worker of their humanity . However ,when brought to administer attention he appeared to deal with it asap. Hopefully the hard working care givers wont have to indure such humilitation again. Ive found employment else where.

My parents moved in a few days after it opened in June. They love their apartment, the people and the food. DeWitt, the Chef, is great and tries to accommodate everyones request. His food is delicious. The taco, salad and baked potato bars on weekdays are a great addition. They enjoy the social programs.

The staff at Anson in Zionsville are warm, friendly, and make the facility feel like home for everyone including residents and their family. They offer a wide range of apartment floor plans and include up-to-date and modern fixtures and appliances. A wide range of delicious food is served with several choices offered at every meal. The facility offers a theater, community room, sky deck, library, bistro, exercise room, and many more areas for residents. They also provide a wide range of activities available every day. Knowing my family member is in such a warm and caring environment offers peace of mind. I highly recommend Anson Senior Living in Zionsville.

Make no doubt about it, this COVID experience has been a nightmare for the daughter of Senior Citizen with pre-existing health conditions. All that said, I am so thankful for Anson Senior Living and the wonderful staff there. It cannot be easy to navigate this COVID world but somehow they are finding their way. Knowing Mom lives in one of the few communities without a COVID exposure means a lot to mine and her peace of mind. Things have been hard, but they have been steadfast in their communication and sticking to their decisions for lack of a better term. We look forward to the day when this is all behind us, but for now... I am pleased with how Anson has performed and hope it continues.

Ive personally seen & researched every option in central Indiana... nothing compares. And, while its absolutely gorgeous, what is most beautiful are the people working there. They really care & it shows with how they treat my uncle & our entire family. We seriously considered another upscale place in Zionsville. The staff ended up being arrogant & rude (employee turnover was high, too). Then, I looked up their health records...yikes. Do your research & compare! Anson does it right.

It was a very hard decision to place my wife into memory care. I was very pleased with the patience that the staff at Anson showed me while I was making this hard decision. They always took the time to answer my questions, and made me feel as if I was placing her with family. She has been there for over 2 weeks and has been doing very well. I have been so happy with how she transitioned since coming to the Anson memory care neighborhood. I had no clue how this would go, and have been pleasantly surprised by the love, care and attentiveness of the staff at Anson. The memory care neighborhood is like home and my wife has fit right in.

Attended an introductory meeting when this facility was being built, and an open house upon completion of construction. Clearly this facility is planned to be very resident oriented. The amenities offered to make the residents lives more enjoyable and convenient are outstanding. Staff is high calibre, and they have given a lot of thought and research toward what would make the residents happier. There are levels of care facilities including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care and provision for progressing to higher levels of care as a resident ages and health declines such that he, she is not able to be as independent.Facilities are apartments. Some garage space is available (assigned space in a community garage) as an option. There are no cottages or individual homes and no enclosed private garages. Construction quality (both grade of materials and appliances used and quality of finish work) was not up to the level I expected. This will probably impact the durability of the facility. I expect most residents will probably not be as concerned about this as they will about the quality of life afforded in the facility.Food service and and opportunities for participation in activities. appear to be plentiful and diverse.
