We have been super Please with this facility. Unfortunately, circumstances had my mom moved three times in a short period. We were upset that she had to move again but really feel like it was for the best! The staff are kind, understanding, patient and really make the residents feel as thought they are wanted and valuable.

I chose Overland Court over other facilities for my loved one because the staff is so kind and good hearted. My loved one seems to be settling in, though any transition like this can be unsettling. Everyone is responsive to my questions about care and to my loved one's requests for assistance. Overland Court is the answer to my prayer!

We are very happy with the wonderful staff at Overland Court. When Brenda Stroud took me around for my tour, I saw a clean facility, with a nice layout, and lovely courtyards. What impressed me the most was how Brenda and the staff interacted with the residents. Now not only are we happy with Overland Court, my mother-in-law seems to be happy here too. She is adjusting much better than we expected based on past experiences with other facilities. It is a huge relief to see her doing so well.

My husband and I meet with Brenda the marketing director. She has excellent knowledge in Assisted Living environments. She answered our questions gave us information and a tour of the facility. Overland Court is a very nice place. Well organized, staffed well. Residents are well cared for. Very clean. We are planning on placing my husband's parents in Assisted living very soon.

My mom has been at Overland for over a year, surviving the Covid days and beyond. I can say that she has had the best care possible at this facility. The staff is very attentive to her needs, and their sense of humor and positive interactions helped her get through some of the hard days. Hats off to Melanie and Bonnie up front who are so willing to help in any way. Angela, Kimberly, and Deborah work so hard and have a wonderful demeanor with the residents. I would definitely recommend Overland Court.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! My parents are current residents at Overland Court Senior Living in Boise, and have been there for a little over a year. Colleen, Melanie, Karen, Kayla, Angela, Alicia, Bonnie and the ENTIRE care staff are amazing and Im so thankful that my parents are being so well taken care of. We had a pretty awful experience at the previous property where they were living in Caldwell and I was so worried when I was looking to move them. Allen, Colleen and Melanie were the first people I met. They were compassionate, welcoming and transparent. Best decision Ive ever made! My parents are doing pretty well, despite the Covid restrictions and this is a direct result of the entire team at Overland Court and Karen, the Activities Director, for their positive attitudes, love and compassion for their residents. Every time I ask my parents if their doing ok, their response is always the same. We are doing fine and they treat us really well here. 🙂 I cant say enough about Overland Court and Frontier Management. Thank you so much for all you do and for the wonderful team you have in place in Boise. I am forever grateful.

I absolutely adore the facility and administrative staff. Everyone truly cares and takes the time to get to know those who live their as well as their families. They have done a fantastic job at doing everything within there power to keep families and loved ones safe and connected during these lady several months. Overland Court Senior Living looks like an excellent place to live. My family and I toured this facility and really liked it. Unfortunately for us, my grandparents need time to get their affairs in order before moving to the Boise area from out of state, so its unlikely there will be an opening in the Transitions memory care side when theyre ready to go. But were hoping there might be! The marketing director, Melanie, seemed to know the residents by name. Staff is individualized to department so they should be very knowledgeable about their department. There are photos of residents doing fun, activities and resident artwork is displayed on the walls throughout the building. The apartments seem comfortable. There are multiple daily on-site activities and multiple trips per week. It is also very close to an Albertsons, a thrift store, a Dairy Queen, and many other shops. The Transitions Memory Care wing is just through some double doors, and has a good feel to it. It didnt seem institutional at all. It felt like a nice home. Residents were out in the common area socializing with one another and with the staff. Transitions is their memory care section that is for residents who are in the more beginning stages of dementia. They have another memory care section called Generations that is for residents who are in the later stages. I think that is something that we all really liked as well. All of their rooms are private (unless couples want to share in the Assisted Living section), and they have four different size options in their Assisted Living and two in their Memory Care. Even for residents on Medicaid, they get a private studio apartment. This facility requires two years of private pay before a resident can utilize Medicaid to pay for their stay. I could write more about them, but I would recommend you just go ahead and schedule a tour for yourself if you are interested!

My dad lives at Overland Court Senior Living. He is very happy and content there.The activities director is amazing! She keeps everyone very busy and the entertainment at OCSL is wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful! The medical staff does a super job of taking care of all the Resident! Great food is served by a great staff! The place is kept vey clean!

this is a wonderful place to live. the activities are wonderful. Karen makes sure they all are happy and busy. she brings in the most special events of any place i know . they are well taken care of and treated very special. check it out if your looking for a place for a loved one. this is definitely one of the very best and loving for your loved one. i love going there every month to entertain cause everyone is so happy and friendly. I think it is wonderful. My mom had been living with my family in her own mother in law apt for several years. However she has needed more help-care in the last year then I could accommodate. We were pleasantly surprised with Overland Ct. as a whole. Mom is 86 and excited to have more freedom and opportunities here, as she is very social gal. And its within walking distance from are House!

Kayla Duclos, is one of the best people i know at overland court. she is always on time and is very nice to the residents and family members. she always completes her tasks given to her on a daily basis and even volunteers her time after work and on holidays. for sure you can tell that she loves her job.

I am a Hospice RN and I have had the privilege of having several of my patients live here at Overland Court. I feel that this facility has one of the greatest group of caregivers to work with. Their love and sincere dedication to "our" patients surpasses many, led by an outstanding unit manager, Sheena. There is one caregiver who stands out and is special to me, Debra Rundle. Every time I go to Overland I am greeted with a sincere smile and a stellar laughter. She always makes me feel great even If I have been having a sad day or I am feeling like my day is so-o-o-o-o busy, Debra makes me feel like a new person. She also has this effect on her patients. Her love flows onto her patients and it is safe to say that they feel better under her care and the care of the other awesome people at Overland. You guys rock!! And thank you for making my days at Overland Court fantabulous!! And thank you Debra for always making me feel so important in your life. You matter greatly!

While all the staff are great with the residents, I would like to pay special attention to Debra. While she may appear shy, not wanting to draw attention to herself, she is really so vibrant and alive when dealing with all of the residents. Don't let her small stature fool you. I was amazed to see how she transfered residents from their wheelchairs to the recliners, beds, vehicles, etc., effortlessly. She would give them a kiss and a big bear hug and ask them to give her a big bear hug in return. She asked them to keep hugging her as she transfered them safely. My dear Eldora was in one of her moods, when along came Debra to the rescue. She gave Eldora a big kiss on the forehead, told her she loved her and began singing "you are my sunshine", as she knows that is Eldora's favorite song. Before long, Eldora was engaged and singing along and had forgotten that she was in a bad mood. This morning after breakfast, Debra asked Eldora if she would like to sit by the fireplace. Eldora responded "Yes", and Debra wheeled her to her favorite destination. I also noticed that Debra was loving to all residents and was constantly watchful to maintain the safety and well being of them all. Recently, I witnessed Debra feeding a resident when she watched another resident begin to get out of their wheelchair. Debra immediately went and helped the resident so they did not fall and get hurt. It is comforting to know that Debra is so dedicated to her job and that my loved one is being well taken care of. My experience with Overland Court is always a positive one. I work with this facility weekly and the caregivers are wonderful! Jennifer H. is a loving, supportive and compassionate caregiver. Additionally, all the staff: aides, LPNs, marketing and administration, are wonderful to work with.
