My mother-in-law lives at the Cove, and I have to give a shout out to the staff there, especially Bethany. She always so sweet to her and never hesitates to answer all her questions. Recently, mom had an issue and made a mess and even though it was late, Bethany came right over and helped her without making her feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. In the world we live in today, it's a relief knowing people like her, and the other staff members are taking care of our family. We are beyond grateful!

Takia Roberts does not hold back when it comes to care for residents and the expectations of staff to follow suit… Fair but firm and always finding ways to cater to each residents' needs as well as critical thinking to develop her plans of care… Miss Takia is a team player and always willing to help where it's needed. Concerns get addressed in a timely manner and communicated effectively.

I attended an event at The Cove last Friday. The music was great and the residents were having a good time . The Director of Sales, Sondra, met with me and showed me around the community. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided me with all of the information I needed. I would recommend The Cove to anyone looking for their loved ones. It put my mind at ease seeing the residents and staff so happy. It feels like family here!

Many thanks to Sondra for her support, kindness in making sure my sister was taking care of at the Cove. I attend a senior center in Ponte Vedra and several members here are residents at the Cove and they can't say enough about Sondra. I talked with one recently who is moving in soon and she said Sondra is so awesome with helping her transition! We need more people like Sondra in this world!

I had such a wonderful tour with Sondra. She was so pleasant and always helpful. We were in the area and I came in with my wife around 4:30pm to just take a look. Without an appointment, Sondra offered to give us a tour. We saw all the different areas, like the dining room, the gym, the bingo area, the happy hour area, the outdoor patio..... We also saw the model apt, a studio room and a couple of one bedroom apt. We were looking for an assisted living for my mom. Sondra wrote down details about my needs, who the room would be for and what does my mom like. Sondra really tries to learn about the new resident and help with the situation. A few days later, we came back with my mom to show her the place. Sondra was very accommodating with the appointment time. She showed us the facility again and the rooms. She pointed out the features of the room and the location of the room from elevator and other activities. The tour was very thorough and informative. Sondra made us feel very welcome. She was very patient and we did not feel rushed. Overall 5 star services. Thanks!

I cannot say enough about this facility, the staff and especially Theresa Meyer, Director of Sales. My spouse and I were trying to find an ALF near us for my elderly mother who lives out of state. Theresa was so welcoming, professional and interacted with my Mom so beautifully. The facility has a great feel and residents appear to be very interactive and happy. Such a great place! When my time comes would definitely consider moving there as well.

If you are looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one, stop now you have found the place. The Cove has a very loving caring staff. A great activities director David that keeps you busy. A great new Chef that cooks fantastic meals and you have choices, the only bad part is they serve desserts at lunch and dinner, hard on the waste line. The Executive Director Chris stays on top of everything. Everyone has their own apartment, and several types to choose from. I was there for 4 months back in 2019 and found the love of my life, will you be the next winner in the love lottery of life? Also Monday through Friday they have social hour with free beer and wine. A great way to socialize with the rest of the residents. Also, Grocery shopping at Publix on Friday or you can choose Target they have their own bus, you just have to sign up to go. So truly you have found a great place for a loved one, be it Mom & Dad or a Grandmother or Grandfather, look NO further. Stop by and take a tour and you will probably find me there, I love it there, been going for 3 years now. You can get all sorts of sales pitches but a testimony outweighs a sales pitch every day. I know I spent 20 years in outside sales. Have a fantastic day and please do stop by and seriously consider The Cove at Marsh Landing.

Friendly and loving staff, plenty of Activities due to David Fuller does a fantastic job at being Creative. There will be a new head Chef starting Wed, named Woody, he cares about his diners. I have not had teeth since 2017 due to chemo and radiation. He makes sure all my meats come out chopped up for me. Sometimes I have to cut it up a little smaller but I am grown at 77 and know how to do it. Everyone has their own apartment; the choice is up to you and your pocketbook. I was there for 4 months back in 2019 and met the most loving caring man and we are engaged. Just a great all-around place to be and Happy hour, M, W, F. from 3:30 to 4:30, free wine, and beer are provided. If you want something harder, you can have a family member bring it to you and it will go on the bar cart. After living there for 4 months I can highly recommend this place. I was in sales for 20 years and I know the difference in a sales pitch and a testimony. I think a Testimony our weights any sales pitch. And the food is great, if you are a dessert lover, they give you 2 choices and lunch and dinner. Wonderful but it hurts the waist line, lol I highly recommend over the other 124 other assisted living facilities.

Horrible health care. The residence is a hotel style and lovely especially now with the new upgrades. The chef and the food is good. The medical staff is horrible. Larissa is the medical director and she is incompetent, uncaring, and lies to cover her failures. Most of the staff in that department is lazy and uncaring. They fail to interact with the residents and fail to keep up with issues. They do not answer questions in a timely manner or not at all. I would not suggest this place for anyone who has any kind of health issues. When we signed up for my friend to live there she was assured of certain programs that were important to her which are religion. No such programs exist. I attended a residents session with the staff members and Larissa came late and left early. Many residents had the same complaints about the medical and caregiver staff. It seems to me that more emphasis should be on medical and caregiving. While I was in my friends apartment I heard screaming and yelling and help help help for at least 10 minutes before anyone arrived. But my friend first moved there she was given a button for emergencies which did not work. The residents said they had the same issues

Residents at Ashford Court are ALWAYS on the GO! Stephanie, Todd, and Mimi plan out of this world excursions for the residents. The staff holds a resident council meeting and she really listens to what the residents that live there want on their calendar. In dietary, Joan takes particular care for every new resident's routine of nutrition. Everyone at Ashford goes above and beyond to help each resident live their best life! Five stars all the way around!

My mother now resides at Ashford Court since the beginning of December 2018. I have been trying to manage from afar (Utah) her living arrangements. Before the move she was in a Brookdale facility and very unhappy calling many times a day to ask me to get her into a new place. I found her prior residence very neglectful and uncaring . I was in a quandary as what to do. In November I toured several other facilities and did not have Ashford Court in mind or on the list. My mother's friend had moved to Ashford Court from Brookdale over the summer and we went for a visit. I knew when I walked in, this was the place. I , however , was concerned that it might not be affordable. Suzanne Simon , the sales and marketing director, spent a lot of time with us trying to make this work. She even helped find a local moving business who accomplished doing the entire move and setting up her cozy apartment to the last picture! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Communication is great here. The food is so much better ! The place is easy on the eye, fresh, and inviting. It comes alive with all the caring affectionate staff who work here. I went back to give a big 92nd birthday party for my mom and they gave me a private room at no cost. My mother had such a nice day! And her hair looked great- done at the facility's hair salon.

My husband who has Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease moved to the Embrace Memory Unit at Ashford Court at Marsh Landinfg in Jax beaches in May 2018. The staff are all wonderful and welcomed my husband with open arms. The Embrace Unit is run by the most compassionate loving woman named Mimi that I have ever met in my entire life. She treats each and every one of her patients with respect, dignity and loves each and every one of them like they were own family. She loves her job and it shows! The facility deserves to be acknowledged for their excellence and that is why I am sharing my experience. Please go out and visit and if you are visiting the Embrace Unit go meet Mimi.

When we moved to Jacksonville, we moved my mother too. We didn't know anything about the area or the local assisted living facilities so we toured property after property until we found Ashford Court. What first attracted us was that the staff and residents were the friendliest and most helpful. We all had ideas of what we were wanting. My mother wanted a place that had people around and activity. I wanted a safe secure property where she could get care if /when needed. We got both. Suzanne Simon was instrumental in making sure my mother's move was as easy as can be when moving to a different home....and home is how it's been. The staff has gone out of their way to make us all feel comfortable and insure we have everything we need. Feeling supported during this transition has meant so much....Oh, and Suzanne also made sure my mom had a " buddy" who introduced her to other residents. Just awesome!

My first experience with Ashford Court occurred about 12 years ago when I moved my parents there. They lived there for about 4 years and then passed away. During that period of time, they were cared for like family and I grew to love the place very much. About a month ago, I assisted my college roommate in moving into Ashford Court and I was very pleasantly surprised that the place had the same homey, caring attitude that I experienced with my parents. I had been told it had been lost. During the past month, I have been there almost every day and can truly say that it is absolutely top notch. The staff, from Rachel and Stuart who greet you at the front desk, to Deborah, the Director of Care, to William who is in charge of facility maintenance, all the way to the Executive Director, Julie Davidson, are all excellent. They treat every resident like their own parents and constantly go out of their way to do everything possible to make the residents comfortable. They truly believe that they are guests in the resident's homes and they act that way consistently. My thanks for a job being well done! John Anderson

My Mom moved to Ashford Court in December of 2017. She has such a lovely apartment and has met many friends. Prior to her move she was so lonely living on her own. Transitioning my parents from independence in North Carolina to assisted living in Florida is difficult, especially when these are such unchartered waters. After visiting several facilities, I was referred to Ashford Court. Immediately upon arriving the atmosphere was different. The staff was warm, genuine and welcoming; the residents I encountered were engaging and seemed to enjoy their residences. The nursing personnel have been so helpful to me in learning/navigating the transfer of physicians, medical needs, Medicare and so much more. My parents have been at Ashford Court 6-weeks now. They are more active and happy than I have seen in quite sometime. They comment regularly on thee staff members and how supportive they are. The social aspect of the facility I believe has truly made a difference in their lives. They often ask themselves why didn’t relocate sooner.I am thankful that I was able to find such a loving environment for my parents to enjoy as they grow older. Ashford Court at Marsh Landing was the right place !

This is a Marsh Landing location that is close to our home. It is a lovely building that feels like home. Their food is wonderful and we look forward to Sunday lunch there with my folks. My parents love all the wide open space and garden lined courtyards. Dad wanders a bit so we were concerned, but he seems to be getting better as he has found his way to his favorite spots where he and his buddies can talk and play cards. Mom feels more secure now than when they were in their home and she has made a lot of friends. Its fun to hear them laughing and having a good time with people they see every day. The staff is wonderful. From the very first time we stopped in we knew we liked it. Its right off Butler Blvd and there is easy access to the malls in area. Mom wanted to see every senior option in Ponte Vedra and Jax beach. Since she has been in the area for a long time, she wanted to be close to her Doctors at Baptist Beaches and Dad at Mayo. This is by far the best value and location. We cant say enough about the girls who work there. They really go out of their way to make them feel special. Its like a big cruise ship on land with all the food and activities. Someone is always singing and people are playing games. They have lots of stretching and activities to keep them active. Mom never gets bored.
