The people that live and work here are welcoming and warm. The food is good and is obvious people enjoy living at this location. I like the area too. Lots of pretty views from the apartments and good part of town.

I just had to urgently remove my mom from this facility. She was being mistreated and ignored by the AGM, which then branches out to the rest of the staff. He has done the same to me, but I can handle it. To discover he's been doing it to my mom, words can't express. He told her to "Eat ____ and die". He won't help us with our rent so he gave us a business card of the President or some woman, and she never called back. They raised our rent twice in one year! The water damage on the dining room floor has made 2 residents (that I know of) fall and crack their skulls. My mom called me multiple times really upset and I have been trying to get her out of there for weeks now, it's unfortunate it took so long, but she's been staying with family in the meantime. Do not let your loved one live here. My family and I are trying to recover from the damage that place did to my mother. No one has ever mistreated her the way they did there. The head chef was an arrogant one as well who loved to add salt to everything, I couldn't eat there when I would visit and often brought my mom meals even though we paid for the meals in our rent payments. The Longmont Regent is an unsafe environment. My family and I are finding ways to report them to have the staff removed, but from what I hear he's married to another staff member and they are vey close with the higher ups. You don't know until you've lived there or spent day after day there, how extremely suffocating and unsafe the environment is. Don't even get me started on what they call "activities". The place my mom is at now has daily ADULT activities and they have weekly outings. Keep your loved one out of the Longmont Regent.

Yearly 10% rent increase. Repetitive food menu. Elevator has been broken for several weeks so those of us who can't walk the stairs due to sore knees/feet cannot go outside or the dining room or any activities. The hallways smell like urine and smoke. There is a leak in the dining room roof for over a year that we have to sit next to a giant trash can it drips into. There is no support for the residents. Used to have an amazing staff but the good ones left besides the sales woman who hands out hugs. Atria is not a safe and supportive company for senior living, we've never met any one from that company. No front door decor on the residents rooms anymore, looks like a cheap motel now. Warped floors due to water damage. Front door doesn't lock at night so homeless people come in. People who are not independent still live here which makes the others feel like their in an AL/MC instead of IL. People with severe dementia live here. They have a caregiver they recommend who, I was told, steals from the residents and she is so rude when she zooms down the halls. She drives one of the residents Telsas because he went on Hospice. Their COVID laws have changed and is not safe, they let you out of your room after 2 days of having covid. I could go on and on. This place is not safe for seniors and we are reporting it to news channels, and other family members/friends are doing the same. Please keep your loved one safe by not going to Longmont Regent.

This is an amazing place. The residence are wonderful, partly due to a very caring staff that takes great care of the people who live there. They know everyone by name, they engage with them, they listen to them, and treat them like family. We visited many places for our elders dad who needed a little community to be a part of and I would want to live here when I need a bit of help. The amazing thing is that there is a sister community in fort Collins and it has the identical respect and passion for the care they provide the residence.

This place has all of the 'feels'. Each time I come in the door I'm welcomed by the residents who are always so socially involved in their home. This isn't a place where everyone locks themselves away and only come out during mealtime. You've got to see it to understand first hand. There is a heart and community here which feel just soooo good!

I have a dear friend that lives here we go to dinner twice a week, once at the community and once out in the town. The community is old fashioned decor but that is what I absolutely adore about it. There are so many great things about this community, the people, the staff, the food, and especially how clean the community is! I am so grateful my friend is there.

I love Longmont Regent! I am retired & wanted to live independently but not alone. That is what Longmont Regent is - a community where we are fed 3 times a week, we are entertained several times a day with games, crafts, baking & many other things you can possibly think of. We have housekeeping, maintenance & a fantastic management team that are here to help us. And we have our freedom to enjoy the company of other residents or enjoy the privacy of our own apartments where we are allowed to have our pets. This is my home & I love it!

Our short stay (6 months) was filled love and laughter. Not all ups nor all downs. I was able to gain strength and return to our own home. Food. 4.5 out of 5 Staff 5.5 out of 5 Our apartment 4 out of 5 (We needed access for friends and family greater access) Free laundry facilities on each floor For now we do not need the 3 meals and 2 snacks. THIS HAS TO BE IF NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IT IS WITH THE TOP 6.

This is my second review. Holiday, who owns over 300 of these senior living places in the US, decided a short time ago that they would switch from the live in manager system to managers who are here from approximately 7am to 7pm. Most of our managers live nearby so are able to come in the case of a real emergency at night. There is also the people at the fire station that is right next door. Most of us are independent living. We also care about each other and watch out for each other. Some senior living places are not like this. Ive heard some bad stories about people being mean to new people etc. That isnt the case here. The prices are also good and you can lock in your rate at certain times, so your rent never goes up. The reason I only gave 4 stars is that unlike other similar places, the Regent allows smoking on the property. I am allergic to cigarette smoke which gives me diarrehea and massive headaches. Other than that my two furry children (cat and dog) and I have a beautiful studio apartment with 3 large windows and sun all winter.

My mother has lived at the Longmont Regent for 8 months. Her apartment is cheery and feels like a miniature of her previous home. We have spent many hours on her little porch that is off her apartment. Mom loves greeting her neighbors as they walk past, many with their little dogs. The staff and residents are friendly and this provides a feeling of family and comfort. The meals are wonderful - the Thanksgiving dinner was inclusive of family, beautifully decorated and the food was fantastic! The Great Call 24, 7 emergency response system provides peace of mind. While mom is not able to participate in many of the activities provided, there is an array of socialization options for residents. The Longmont Regent is a home for the folks who live there and they can choose what they wish to take part in (or not). The Regent is not like other facilities that require the residents to adhere to schedules. It is HOME. Our family appreciates everything the Longmont Regent is and does for those who live there!

My mother lived here for a year before she moved to be closer to family. That was 2 years ago and she STILL says she loved it at Longmont Regent. When I was looking for a place for her, it did not occur to me how important the 3 meals a day is for independent seniors. Yes, she can make her own meals and decide when she should eat; but the meals are a socializing opportunity, and make the place seem like home. She has since moved into a nice, closer place with certain hours that the cafeteria is open. That has translated into not having the same people to eat with on a daily basis= eating alone:( For me the Regent might have seemed to need a face-lift, but being dated is not an issue for people in their 80s! The bottom line is that my mother loved it there, and would consider moving back. I want her to be happy and Longmont Regent is a happy place for her!
