I highly recommend this place if you or your loved ones need a skilled nursing facility. I have been at Mountain View location about a month. There are 4 stations and I am at station 4. I can only speak for my station. There are many things happening day and night. It needs improvement on different area since there is no perfect place. On the other hand, employees work very hard and try their best. Among those employees I want to especially recognize following persons; Thanh Tran RN, Thu Pham RN, Oralia Pizarl CNA, and Carmen Zamora CNA, Ricardo Soto CNA, and Isabel Pino housekeeper. I want to add more comments today because I realize that therapists worked very hard and they are one of the BEST!!! Employees are very dedicated, proactive, and goes beyond than their job expectations since they are under Michael Lee's excellent leadership. Mr. Lee has great communication skills. He knows when to apologize and when to say thank you. I am greatly appreciate of everybody's work. This is why I gave 5 Stars. Thank you so much everyone!!

My mom had rehab at Grant Cuesta since it was recommended by the hospital. She stayed about 3 weeks and therapy did a really great job on her. The case manager that had her Gwen was very thorough and helpful with our questions during her stay. CNAs and the staff are very welcoming even though we see they are very busy with patients. We are very happy with our stay here, thank you team for taking good care of my mom.

recently had my father at Grant Cuesta, Joty & her nurses were well trained & attentive. I was not able to physically be in the facility & depended on updates via phone. Joty answered her phone after hours which made my families experience easier. Thank you Grant Cuesta team!

I was nervous coming here post hospital stay because of the reviews, but after being here a couple days, I feel much better about my experience as the negative reviews have not been my experience at all. When I press the call light, someone appears within about 5 minutes, or sooner. After the first day my meds got dialed in and I've yet to be in a lot of pain. When I have been in pain and call on the nurse, she normally is here within a few minutes. When I've needed a diaper change because I can't stand or walk at this time, they are always right on it. I get a daily sponge bath until I can stand and get myself into a wheelchair and.thwn the shower. The physical therapy and occupational therapy will begin after the weekend but they have visited me daily and given exercises to do on my bed and have encouraged me to sit with feet on the floor when they are present. The food here is okay. I get fed at 7am, noon and 5pm.amd stuffed by the end of the day. There's a TV bedside and a big beautiful patio where I saw a doggy outside yesterday visiting someone. For in room visits, they allowed only one person at a time which is limiting but as my room is not private, so I understand the courtesy that needs to be extended to my roommate. I came here as they are equipped to give IV antibiotics and a wound vac which I have attached to my leg after a staph infection. So far this place exceeds my expectations and if that changes, I will update my review but after being here three days, I give them five stars!!!

I was at Grant Questa for my clinicals as a Student LVN. The staff are hardworking and hospitable people, you can tell patient care is a high priority here. The nurses allowed us students to practice many procedures which was such a great experience. Shoutout to the amazing and diligent wound care nurse!

I was a patient in Grant Cuesta for nearly two weeks and was discharged on January 27th. The staff that took care of me and worked with me during my stay was wonderful. Their care, professionalism, and genuine concern for my health and safety were outstanding. I extend special recognition and thanks to Carmen Espinoza, CNA, an exceptional member of the staff with whom I had the most interaction during my stay. Carmen is #1!!

Just FYI, I am writing this post as a vendor that worked with Grant Cuesta. I want to give huge props to the admissions team because they really do care about their patients. Every time I have visited them they are hard at work. They are constantly speaking with Case managers and their nursing team. I have been able to connect with their nursing staff and they try their best when attending to their patients. I have also had the chance to connect with their leadership and their administrator is personable! Grant Cuesta has some very solid people that work there.

Grant Cuesta is a wonderful skilled nursing facility that I have partnered with for many years. It's always a smooth transition going into the facility, working with their therapy team and discharge planners. I value communication the most when it comes to skilled nursing and I can trust this team to stay on top of our resident's plan of care and discharge.

My grandfather recently spent 2.5 weeks at Grant Cuesta following hospitalization for a fall. Yes, the facility is older and could use some updates. However, I was really happy with the care we observed. My grandfather doesn't speak English and so we were there as much as we could to assist with translation. Once we connected with staff and expressed a desire to be present during his therapy sessions, they did their best to make sure we knew when things would happen to be present. The majority of staff was incredibly kind and took time to talk through what was happening even if he couldn't understand everything that they said. By the end of his stay I knew the names of most of the regular staff and would be greeted when walking through the halls. They do have a nice outdoor courtyard which allows for larger gatherings. It was also nice to have a place to walk or take a break without leaving the building. Discharge was where we were somewhat disappointed. Some of the services we were told to expect we found were not included in an order from the doctor because we had told them we were looking into hiring a caregiver. Just because we are looking into a service doesn't mean that he should not be given what he is entitled to and covered by insurance for. We also didn't get any information about care giving agencies until 3 days before discharge, despite calling and leaving messages for the social worker at GC about a week before.

I usually do not write reviews. However, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how pleased our family is with the service my mother receives from Grant Cuesta Mountain View. But more importantly, I want to give praise to Joty and Jasmine for their exceptional care for my mother. They both are compassionate, caring, and go above and beyond to ensure my mother has the best care. For this I am extremely grateful and wanted to share my appreciation to them both.

At first I was very apprehensive to have my 80 year old mom rehab here following heart surgery who is extremely hard of hearing when I saw the low stars and poor comments. Especially coming from a huge bright room at Stanford for past 4 weeks, her room is small, hot, a bit dark and floors a super marked up. But they quickly accommodated her request for a fan and brought her a chair. The TV does not work well but fortunately she is able to get out of her room for activities, rehab, and visits. She has a nice roommate which speaks the same language so this is a super bonus for her. One of my favorite things by far is the outside courtyard with flowers, grapevines, plants and figurines. It's breezy and very pleasant for visits and spending time outside in shady areas- good for mood boosting and vitamin D. She also enjoys the bingo for social interaction and fun. The nursing staff has been accommodating and attentive - at times it takes a while for them to respond to call buttons because they are so busy. The staff have provided kindness with care especially with morning dressing and with showering. They have been responsive to my calls and inquiries about her needs and have provided assistance with transportation to her outside appointments. Sure the facility is older and can definitely use a deep cleaning of floors, it could use some paint, and sprucing up of some areas. My mom has been in very posh rehabilitation facilities in the past that have not offered as much personal attentiveness and care as this place has- and having outdoor spaces is so great. The food is adequate and plentiful -a bit salty for her taste- and they go out of their way to bring treats like ice cream or special requests when she asks - more fresh fruit would be nice. Mom loves the physical therapy which she says is excellent! She loves the large room where the perform activities to build stamina, strength, flexibility, and coordination- she likes the "volleyball" She appreciates being able to take walks with staff as her goal is to return home ASAP and this helps her get there sooner. I was super impressed that every visitor is able to take a 15 minute COVID test prior to entering to visit— great for safety!! I hope more people with similar positive experiences take the time to give GC a good review.

Just a little interesting history...My foster mother built that rehabilitation hospital in Mountain View on Grant Road... After it was built she went on a little vacation with her mother to Hawaii... While she was gone her crooked lawyer and her crooked bookkeeper undermined her legally and took it over... Sad since she had sold her nursing home and mental hygiene home to have it built... The doctors in the area knew about the take-over and refused to send their private patients there...They only got County patients...next thing they did was turn it into a nursing home and fill in the swimming pool... It was called Rainbow Rehabilitation Hospital... Im happy to see that it is a Rehab center again I heard they removed her name and handprint from the cement at the entrance way ...Hope things are going better there now as that was over 50 years ago

My mom was there in March for rehab and then as a hospice patient. Each time, the staff was wonderful, patient and very caring. I would highly recommend this place. It is an older facility but it is clean, the staff is professional and you receive quality care. Thank you for taking care of my mom and for assisting us in making her last days peaceful, pain free and restful.
